Vision of Disorder:

I found them from my brother, who apparently knew them way back when. Very much my favorite band.

Kyuss, I found them thanks to the great man that is Joe Parkin. Night shifts at a petrol station, he used to bring in a battered old stereo and we'd just listen to kyuss and fu manchu all night whilst working. He got me hooked on some of the greatest bands...

I got into Foo Fighters by the song DOA back in 2005. I actually wasn't much of a music listener until late 2004, and when this came out, I just totally loved it! I'm not even sure why I liked it so much; it's actually probably one of their worst singles. But I loved it anyway for the catchy chorus and weird video.

Two favorite bands...

Rammstein, who I found via Agentjr's Carmageddon Let's Play.

And Muse, who I found from one of ProtonJon's videos.

I used to play a game known called AdventureQuestWorlds. Quite early on in my time on there, they had an event where they hired in a band called Voltaire. The event lasted about a month, and although I liked the songs on it, I never really looked into them, and forgot about it a while afterwards.

Some time later, I was flicking through youtube videos when I found one called "When Bakura's Evil". The name intrigued me, so I clicked it, and it turned out to be an AMV based on a song called "When You're Evil [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o-irPKQlR4]".

This song, to me, was awesome. I absolutely loved it. At the time, I hadn't realized it was the same band I'd heard before, because the AMV in question hadn't actually given the name of the band. I only realized it later on, when I looked for the song to put on a thread somewhere on here.

So from there I just started looking up more and more of their songs. I find it to be the only band that actually makes songs that I consistently enjoy, and it is likely to remain that way for a long time...

I forgot how I found out about Wilco. I read a lot of music publications, it was probably one of them.

One of my other favorite bands, Bon Iver, opened for Wilco in Charleston on my 21st birthday. That's just another reason for me to love Wilco with a passion unparalleled in the history of man.

My brother listened to The Offspring when I was maybe 5 or 6 years old, then a long time passed, then I asked on a forum "hey guys what music would you recommend, I like *list of random songs i liked* and someone said "The Offspring" and there you go.

A long time ago when StupidVideos.com was still popular (yeah... so a long time ago) I was browsing through the music videos when I saw a video that had a terrifying thumbnail. It was the music video for Banana Man by Tally Hall.

My favorite band is an obscure japanese jazz band named Pe'z.

A person I know from Japan told me about it and it's been my favorite band ever since

I discovered System of a Down back in '99 when my dad played their debut when we were coming to the wonderful world of America. I was like, 9 then.

They have outlasted every other one of the bands I like.
