I am not happy with this recording.
But oh well.

Just Picture it with 80% less nervousness and 90% less accent.

I love your voice. It's so soothing and melodious. ^u^

I am quite enjoying listening to everyone's voice. It's interesting to hear the varieties not only in accent, but tone as well.

Anyway, I guess I should offer up my voice too, especially considering not many women have so far. I don't particularly like my voice. I think it's too deep, but whatever. Can't change it really.

Thanks! ^//////////^

You kinda sound a LITTLE like Susan Arendt. Which is good. She has a nice voice, and i don't get tired of listening to her, so maybe it IS fit for a teacher. Goodluck.

Well, here we go. The melodious tones of a LiberalSquirrel. The mike is crappy (and my singing kinda is too, but my singing doesn't have the excuse of "I found it in my basement." I did, however, just exercise, which is why I'm kinda running out of breath.) It's also very, very quiet. My apologies. I'm a quiet person.

If that embed doesn't work, then the link is here [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-i4Gpr6_ow].

...Dude. I had my volume up really high, and your voice at the beginning freaked me the hell out. I think I may still be recovering from my panic attack.

How ironic, because your volume in the video you posted is so low that i had to turn the speakers to max to hear it.

That's why I had my volume so high, actually: I listened to my video to see how horrible my voice sounded. It's a combination of the two things I mentioned in my post - I'm a naturally soft-spoken person, and my mike is crappy.

I don't know if I should call that a success or not.

I also thought my audio was a little on the loud side. Sorry. D:
No problem, and no need to apologize. I mean, I figure that giving people a heart attack was kinda the point of that sort of intro.

I listened. Just because you said that you didn't think most people were going to. I suppose I'm contrary like that.

...I'm surprised you aren't liking Spec Ops: The Line, though. I haven't played it personally (I have no money, thus I have to wait a while before I buy any video game), but I've heard a lot of people talking like it's the second coming of Christ in video game form.

Well I think it's mostly due to me not liking the type of game they they are you know making. I just don't like that military run and gun cover based shooter type of game and I know they are trying to say those types of games are bad in some way but. It's like sucker punch in that way I just can't get over that I don't like that kind of thing.

Oh god. I don't know why, but here's my voice. It took me way too long to actually record this. I actually did a bit of singing before I realized we didn't have to sing, but I included it anyway and am sure I'll regret it.

Here it is [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ].

I'll probably remove it soon, so take a look while you can.

Edit: I took down the video, just like I said I would. Sorry. My voice wasn't that interesting anyway.

I am really not satisfied with how this turned out, but whatever.

I'm sorry it sounds so metallic. I don't actually have good microphone with me so I had to use the one in my computer.

With a better mic, I think you'd have good voice. Calm and casual. Maybe mess around with dubbing? :D Though maybe not for anime girls.

Some sexy voices in this community.

Me:

Why yes, I am to lazy to record a new video just for this. Thanks for asking. Feel no need to watch the whole thing if you don't want to, I'm aware it's long. OP said I could do a recent thing so...Pbbbt. Might as well do the most preachy intro I ever recorded.

Too late, listened. As usual, just another American voice to me :p I'm kidding actually, I could certainly listen to your voice - like in a WoW game in Ventrilo during a raid, that is if I went back into WoW (never again! I've been clean - from WoW anyway ;) - for almost two years! Go me! :D And yes, I listened to the full clip. I have no idea why but it seemed like a good idea at the time...anyway, moving on!

I skipped the first 30 seconds, as the music obscured your singing. I don't know whether the singing was any good, but kudos for actually doing it and linking it to complete strangers (aka nutcases) on the interwebs! And yes, one's voice always sounds different in your head. :)

I see that the "it is" in your link takes one to a Rick Roll, bless. I didn't click that at first, but you did catch me with it when I went to listen to your voice again. Doubly so because I had your own video in another tab...*shakes head in mock despair*

Sounded fine to me, and grrr at the short amount of softly given vocals. Hmph. Pigeon sulk! *folds wings and sticks out his bottom beak*

In other news, I'm fairly sure your future potential students would appreciate your voice - and the Susan Ardent comparison is apt and I agree with l3o2828. Yes I had to copy and paste that, my memory isn't that good at this hour...*ahem*

And as for l3o2828 (yes I typed it out this time)...

To me, if you read more...it'd probably help me sleep - in a good way. In fact, you've inspired me to do a bit of reading into the mic (not my forum posts this time! :) ). I don't know if it will be good or bad...but hey, its all good fun and perhaps is a little more Open Mic nightish (like your entry). :)

Now to find something to read...*glances about* ah here we go: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0te8rVKI3Nd it's about the end of steam trains. Enjoy!

And if the bit about steam trains isn't your thing, here's a quick and slightly topical joke: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1O0VL936cEF

No promises on the quality or the type of quality thereof. XD
