Opinions on rain?

I hate rain in all its forms. Besides the hell it does on my hair, I hate being all wet and soggy. Plus, it does hell on my travel/commute.

My hate of the rain stems from the fact that very often whenever it would rain, I'd get soaked and remain that way throughout the day since there would be no way for me to get dry, plus I'd be freezing (which I also hate being cold). It can rain pretty much all it wants when I'm sleeping or don't have/want to go out for all I care.

For the most part I like rain especially at night as it can be quite relaxing to listen to. It is also quite cool around well lit areas as you get lots of nice reflections on the road etc. It's also clears the air and gets rid of humidity. The only downside is getting wet when you don't have an umbrella

I live in Oregon. I'm cool with rain.

This, but replace Oregon with Florida. I especially love severe thunderstorms. Some people are afraid of thunder, but having grown up with it being a daily thing in the summer, I find it comforting. Also, it's always cooler and less humid after it rains, which Florida being Florida, that is a very good thing. The humidity is so bad at times that you may as well be swimming.

I love rain. It is my favorite type of weather. It is somehow relaxing and energizing at the same time. And sitting there, watching the intermittent lightning strikes between the cloud is just hypnotizing.

I may live in Oregon, but it seems like there's not enough rain. It's perfectly welcome, in my book. I find it calming, I like thunderstorms, the wind, the lightning, ALL that good stuff. And yet, it almost never comes in the part of the state I live in. So very unfair.

I don't like rain mostly because it gets pretty cold when it does, unless it's summer. Then, it's like a nice breeze.

I'd go for a thunderstorm if it isn't going to strike near my place, because that would be the most annoyingly loud sound when I'm trying to sleep. Then again, if there was a significant other that didn't like thunderstorms and clings onto me for support, that would change my mind.

I live in Houston, Texas. I absolutely love rain, and I love thunder even more. A good thunderstorm is awesome--especially if it's a decent downpour with distant rumbly thunder.

That being said, it's only rained here once since January that was more than a light shower. Fucking drought.

Getting through the usual 113-115F desert summer days and 85-90F nights I welcome any and all rain, snow, and cold weather. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons, though Fall hasn't truly started yet....

I adore the rain. You would think that I'd grow sick of it having lived in Washington my whole life, but I love it. I walk everywhere due to not having a car at the moment, and when it starts to rain, I can't help but slow down and smile, because there is no better feeling than walking in the rain.

Such a great link! Not that we need it so much here in Maryland atm. Its been raining all October. I love rainy fall days. Always open the sliding glass doors and let the smells and sounds come in. October is the greatest month of the year.

I love the rain so much I was considering moving to Seattle BECAUSE of the rain.

Seriously though, it's amazing.

I even love ridding my bike in the rain, it's awesome.
