It was the name of a hero of a novel I was writing in my Sophmore year of high school. Never finished it, but for some reason I liked the name. I've used it whenever I can in games where it fits.
My LIVE Gamer Tag (or rather the profile that me and my little brother share) "C0M3ATS BROTHER" came about because a) I have an older brother that plays LIVE and b) all the names I wanted were taken and I didn't want to do that stupid thing where you put X's in front and behind your name.
My Steam (just installed it this month) name Djampick is just a mash up of my first middle and last name

Mine came from an account I made on another site. I couldn't figure out a name (I used LtMcMuffin a lot, but grew tired of ripping off RvB), and didn't want to use a song title this time. I took awhile but didn't think of anything catchy. When I looked down at the Captcha image. This one was one of the ones that spelled something out ("Inferno Lovely") instead of random characters ("v1slb"), and it said "Astor Sapolsky." It sounded cool, so I went with it.
My gaming account (for XBL & Steam: AwwCmonAlready) came from this summer when I finally got an Xbox 360. I made the account LtMcMuffin until I joined Live and was told it was taken. I tried six other screen names, and thought "give me a break." Took that phrase, made it more whine-y, yay.

Well, it started as Ashbak (Just slammed together ash and back and took out the c) on some website forum, cant remember, Then Ashbaks for some Free MMO I downloaded, I think becuase someone told me ashbak means ashtray in some language. Then I realised I could take out the ks and put in x and it would still sound the same, For WOW, which is the name my main (Drood) goes by. I now use it for everything. although my steam is apoccalypse becuase I installed it years and years ago, back when names like apoccalypse werent taken xD

My old Counter Strike name was Drunken Kitty Style. I intended it as a kung-fu thing, like Drunken Monkey Style only with a kitten instead of a monkey. Most people took it as a sexual position as in doggy-style.
I think I originally shortened it because a site or game or whatever wouldn't let me have enough characters, but now I leave it off because it's familiar to me this way and the "Style" just confuses people.

Ted Kazinski (ze unabomber) h-a-t-e-d technological development and argued(some say conclusively) that it was dehumanizing to us as a species, and that we should go back to how life used to be before the uncheckered growth of the industrial revolution, and bomberman is a nifty little character that came at the very advent of mass produced videogames which are a product of the uncheckered growth of technology.

I saw a user on FileFront once that had the name 'GhettoSmurf', and I thought that was pretty clever, so I decided to do what any sane person would do, I stole his idea but changed 'Ghetto' to 'Baka' (Which is Japanese for idiot/idiotic, by the way, Self-deprecation FTW) =P
