I went to that Springvale place, killed all the raiders inside the school, and learned how it's harder to sneak than in Oblivion.

straight to megaton, asked the people some things and then I noticed "shit, there's a bomb in this place!"

I then laughed at them for living near the damn thing, and proceeded to nuke them all.

I went to Megaton, got a few quests, then went to the school and met my first real enemy. A Raider.

It looked so badass! I hid behind a door, and when he came out, I went into V.A.T.S. and slammed the guy in the head with a baseball bat. It then hit a wall and fell off!

Amazing!

Scoured the ruins of Springvale for nice things, popped the eyebot, cleared the school then headed off to Megaton.

Wandered around Springvale, extorted money from that ex-hooker, and wandered into Springvale Elementary.

I encountered my first raider, got scared, and ran away. It was only then that I decided to check my journal, and head to Megaton.

Walked to Megaton and disarmed the bombs for money then walked about my merry way trying to find things to spruce up my house. I kinda wish you could decorate like you could with Morrowind
Go to Craterside Supply in Megaton, it's above the clinic. Moira will have some themes you can buy!
yes but when i try to like put my amour on th shelf to displat it doesn't say right
Yeah the physics in F3 can be very annoying, it too me almost half an hour to set my guns and unique items up around the house because they seem to knock off eachother if they get within a meter of eachother... the collision detection is very screwey.

I keep all my skill books on the workbench and that was a nightmare to set up!

God I just read my post back and realised just how much of a geek I am :)

Haha don't worry, I do the same thing.
After the mission with the Antagonizer and the Robot guy, I spent 20 minutes lining up their armor on my shelf

Found a school, raided it (oddly enough ended up raiding raiders... Ironyyyy)
went north and opted to comb the wastes for my true objective... Ended up doing Oasis, Republic of Dave, Big Town, Underworld, Fort Constantine and had the Mirv when I dicovered I needed to use my Pip-Boy to get a lead on where to find my father...
Thing is, I had seen Megaton (But never even talked to the guy who wants me to blow it up until my second playthrough...) never touched the bomb and had lived homeless for quite a while until I found out about Megaton having a house and starting the story quest...

Ha I love those silly costumes... my character looked so ridiculous walking around the wastes with the antagoniser helmet on the mechanists suit :)

Home decorating is also made difficult by the fact that items randomly fall through the floor into polygon limbo...

Yeah, and when the game loads the stuff gets dropped randomly, always funny to load into my apartment and watch the thirty or so teddys I have on my bed explode in every direction thanks to dodgy physics.

Haha or when you fast travel back to GNR studios and see the super mutants' bodies and gore jiggle all over the place :D

I think with F3 and oblivon the less harmful bugs have kind of become loved by the community... I certainly enjoy watching a yaou guai shoot 50 feet in the air after I headhshot it with ol painless.
