Sex scenes: In normal movies, they're short, pointless, & boring. That's why we have porn.

Over the top unrealistic special effects in action movies.

Macho antihero antagonists who are as smart as they are strong.

Dumb henchmen who can't shoot straight, slowly creep up when they could be shooting, & just stand there waiting to get taken down by one guy.

Complete lack of originality in horror movies.

Hyper-emoional weak scardy useless dumbshit women as love interests.

Completely unfaithful to the source, be it game, comic, or novel.

Adults who overact in children's movies.

Action movie badasses from decades past in children's movies (Jackie Chan, the Rock, Arnold).

Comedians who were funny about 20 years ago, but are now just annoying. (Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Brendan Fraser, Adam Sandler).

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!! Jim Carrey is hilarious. Robin sucks however so ill only half heartedly slap you.

These really arent quotes, more like techniques the crew does to make things seem more dramatic or more action packed.

1. Mother fuckin' Shake-cam. I get the point, its intense. But it's a cliche now. We're not in a damn wind-tunnel here.
2. Over-use of the fast forward in moving scenes, prominent in films from 2000ish to now. If you wanted to skip during a part or transition, just cut it off and cut it out.
3. The silent-scream. 80 percent of action or drama and some horror movies have this in a hugely dramatic scene. Like the Matrix 360 camera angle and Mother fuckin' shake cam, It's had it's day, but now has just become very generic and cliche'd.
4. Zooming in WAY too close to a fight and therefore confusing the hell out the viewer as to whats going on. Seriously, who's punching and kicking who? and where?

And that is all I have for right now.

#4 is the Transformer series for sure!

What about the hero of the story becoming evil at the end. Say he's been fairly neutral through-out the story, but at the end his darkside takes over and he becomes evil?

I don't mean like Anakin Skywalker becoming Darth Vader, more like Garrett from Thief deciding to try and take over.

Would that be considered a cliche'?

Reboots of movies that aren't that old anyway(the new spiderman they are making, Star Trek)

Trying to add more action into a movie and hope people don't notice your plot is shit(Star Trek again)

Missing the point of what made the first movie worth watching(Boondock Saints 2)

Anything made by Michael Moore(we get it you hate America and love communism now shut the hell up)

Carey was hilarious in the 80s & 90s, but hasn't been in anything good since The Truman Show. Williams is good in serious roles but has never been funny.
