Dr. Carter marched through the courtyard, glancing at the robots still at work. 1W was following her, still smiling and kicking rocks on the ground. He occasionally waved at the robots, which saluted in return. 1W grinned.
"What are we going to do now, lady?"
Dr. Carter sighed.
"Standing still won't do any good. 3W's still out there, with his freak friends, so I doubt he would let us do our projects in peace, my darling."
1W's face went grim. He sprinted past Dr. Carter and stopped in front of her.
"Do you want me to take care of that traitorous pig?", he asked, his voice echoing like from the best horror movie. Dr. Carter smiled and patted his head.
"There's no need to. Before I had to... reveal my master plan, The Company managed to catch one freak for me. And not just any freak, this one knows a lot of tricks than the others. I've already converted him and I suppose this would be the best time to give him a test run."
1W looked at Dr. Carter, grinned and ran to the robots working on one of the guardian's, playfully hopping towards them. Dr. Carter sighed - that robot, no matter what masterpieces she had built, always melted her heart. She took the PDA, issued a few commands and marched into the building.
...
Wolf and Fox had returned to the spot. They had found around two hundred soldiers from the ruins, who were still able to fight. It wasn't easy to convince them though that the deal was off and giving them orders often resulted in many grunts. The leaders of the groups didn't want to get orders from someone else than Commander Johnsson.
But the commander was dead. Chain of command rolled onwards.
They checked the surroundings and headed towards the broadcasting station.
