Overcharged - Chapter Three, Dark Hearts [FROZEN UNTIL REQUESTED]

Seeing Mr Terrible go down, ThreeWords pulsed a message to Wolf Terrible out of action. Strike now!

He launched into the air, and called to Catherine "Secure him! Use a net-gun or something!"

He turned and plummeted down on Mr Terrible's minions, swooping to fly toward them at ground level. They were ready, and their hands came up, but ThreeWords was quicker, blasting out 3 bars from 'Hands Held High' by Linkin Park. Their muscels spasmed, jerking their hands into the air above their heads.

It was only for a moment, but it was all ThreeWords needed. He landed, and suddenly 'Revelry' by Kings of Leon filled the air. He struck, and spun, ducking and wheeling, never still for a second

Net-gun? Whatever! Her hands switched, allowing the gun a second to change. A steel net fired out, pinning Terrible to the ground. He was too damaged too do anything anyway. She spun around, seeing Threewords beating the minions easily. The situation was under their control.

mister terrible tried to crawl to his feet but a metal net slammed him back down he was too weak to get up so he simply lay there to let his body rest.

mister terrible`s followers where getting knocked about by 3W Larry tried to resist but the punches were too strong and he had another plan he feigned getting knocked back by jumping backwards as soon as the next hit connected with him he jumped back into a pile of rubble Bart and Harold were knocked to the ground lacking Larry`s resistance to pain.

After about a minute of waiting Larry lept out of the pile of rubble he jumped at 3W punching him in the face sending him flying.
"damn" Larry grunted he then ran over to pick up Bart and Harold he propped them against a wall he then turned around and saw mister terrible passed out he ran up to him and tore off the net he looked around and saw Catherine he started to charge at her like a bull picking up great speed.

Wolf clicked the radio and took aim at Mister Terrible. Aiming at his hand, Wolf changed the sniper rifle's ammunition to NailFire. These special bullets were created to, well, nail the target into something and keep it down, until it was contained. It would be extremely painful to pull them off...

Wolf shot twice.

mister terrible`s right hand was nailed to the ground the pain bringing some life into him but keeping him pinned down.
"how the fuck can this happen,why have I been given this fate all I have done is try to unite our kind and help them to live a happy exsistance" mister terrible choked out he started to pull the nails out with his free hand by charging them up and running a current of electricity through then and picking them out he was able to rip them out, but his hand was torn up and Unusable, he slowly crawled to his feet finally being able to get up. "well about time people did`nt try to kick me while I was down" mister terrible muttered whilst scanning the area he saw Harold and Bart propped against a nearby wall he slowly shuffled towards them he placed his hand over their chests and fired small volts of electricity into their hearts to wake them up both of them awakened their eyes snapping open.

"crap, what the hell happened" Harold asked.

"I guess 3W knocked you out now we have to make a plan you guys alright?" mister terrible asked.

"super for a guy who was knocked out by a robot" Harold laughed getting to his feet Bart doing the same.

"okay now we need to find the mutant army and get them to join us they are all converging here anyway so we just need to be the first to make contact with them" mister terrible told them both. "okay now you two go find any mutants heading here and ask them to join us tell them we want to help them I`l help Larry fight off these two okay" mister terrible ordered.

"got it let`s go Bart" Harold said running off to intercept anyone who wanted to join.

Larry was charging her? Why would he even begin to think that was a smart idea? Easy enough to deal with. Catherine changed for two high pressure water guns. As Larry got closer, she aimed them to the ground. 3. 2. 1! She shot, sending herself flying over Larry as he charged directly through where she had just been. This could work quite well as flight... She spun around, using a poison dart gun. A dart was shot, and it would cause him to collapse on the spot if it hit.

Larry spun around and swatted the dart out of the air with an angry look on his face he then looked around and picked up a nearby piece of rubble and hurled it at her.

mister terrible ran to help Larry he saw him throw a piece of rock at Catherine who was in the air mister terrible fired streams of lightning from his feet and lept into the air hovering.
"nice to see I can still fly" mister terrible thought as he flew through the air towards Catherine he started to throw lightning bolts at her while she was distracted with larry.

Leaping to the side to avoid the piece of rubble, she inadvertently avoided a bolt as well. "Two on one? You guys are joking me..." She sprayed water at the two, soaking them. Seeing them relatively unaffected she turned to a final plan... "Try catch me!" She turned tail and ran, going the same way Harold and Bart had.

"I got her you stay here and deal with mister nuts and bolts 3W" mister terrible ordered Larry.

"got it" Larry said going over to engage 3W.

mister terrible flew after Catherine flying as fast as he could to catch up to her he saw her in the distance running he aimed a wave of lightning in front of her cutting her off he then dropped down to the ground with the speed of a missile creating a crater as he landed he got up and walked over to Catherine.
"before we fight or you decide to run like a coward again answer me this why do you hate peace all I have done is try to untie our kind under my leadership and all you have done is try to stop me my goal is not world domination but only to lead our people into a glorious new age why do you hate that" mister terrible asked Catherine.

"Your goal isn't world domination? You sure had everyone in the city thinking that it was with your broadcast." She backed away, switching her weapon. "And have you heard yourself?"

"Glorious new age? Cut the crap and lets be honest for at least one second Terry. The only reason you're here right now is the same reason I'm here. We saw we had powers and wanted to use them. What we did with them was a damn sight different though. You destroyed and killed your co-workers. Innocents. And I wanted to protect them from people like you. And then the entire story goes to shit when you decided to blow up the broadcasting station and try to kill your only chance to get back at Doctor Whacko. Do you not think that the supers will be suspicious when the woman from the broadcast doesn't show up?" She waited for Terrible to soak in what she was saying.

"I only made it seem like my goal is world domination because well admit it when you are given superiority you want power or respect I went for the former you went for the latter I put out the broadcast promising power to simply gather my fellow minded people and unite them under my leadership and blowing up the building was`nt to stop you or the mutants if I really wanted to destroy our chances I would have blown up the building before the broadcast finished but in reality blowing up the building was to stop 3W he`s a robot he can`t be trusted no robot truly has free will it`s all an act" mister terrible responded. "and guess your right maybe they will get suspicious if you don`t show up so I ask you this will you join me together we can unite our people and stop the company and dr.carter from killing us all" mister terrible answered.

A stalemate. She could join him to get rid of Doctor Carter, but how could she trust him not to kill her the second he got another chance? If she didn't join him she would have twice as many enemies to worry about. Any move puts her in danger. "So power is your goal." She sighed. "And I'm standing in the way." She pointed to Terrible, ready to fire. "You know the dance Terry. We'd go back to killing each other at some point. I'd prefer to make it now, rather than later."

"fine if we must but remember I never wanted to kill you I only wanted to kill 3W" mister terrible sighed he then did two roundhouse kicks sending one wave of lightning directly at Catherine and another above her.

She jumped to the left, rolling as she landed and began shooting at Terrible with nail guns.

Wolf followed the combatants, aiming at Mister Terrible.

"3W, awaiting for new orders! Do you want me to engage with Mister Terrible at long range or Fox to intercept them?!"

Fox armed her pistols, looking at the battle aswell. The soldiers were still busy, reinforcing the building and setting up defense bunker.

mister terrible ducked under one stream of nails and then rolled to the left and fired two quick bursts of lightning before rolling to the right behind a nearby car.
"it`s kind of nostalgic don`t you think,first mutant I met was you and now here we are killing each other again except we both learned some new tricks" mister terrible them pushed the car right at Catherine and jumped on top of it firing fireballs.
"yeah absorbing 2W`s nuclear core allowed my body to produce some new things" mister terrible laughed while charging another fireball.

She produced a grapple beam from her hand, allowing her to use the car as a shield against the fireballs before throwing it back at Terrible. "The tricks just keep coming Terry!"

"I could say the same about you Cathy" mister terrible said kicking the car as it flew towards him blocking it he then locked his hands together he fired a stream of fire from one of them and a bolt of lightning from the other they both twisted around each other forming a spiral of fire and lightning heading straight for Catherine.

3W was surprised by Wolf's words, but his face didn't even flicker

Of course, he thought, If Carter and 1W have defected, and 2W is dead, I'm the next in the chain of command

"Leave Terrible," he commanded, "He's to powerful for conventional weapons, and you might hit Catherine. Focus on the other mutants instead; keep then on the run, and never underestimate them!"

Larry saw 3W in the distance and lept into the air just short of him sending his fist into the ground sending a shock wave towards 3W.
