Eh, Jurassic Park.
From my memory, I recall most people loving the first two and hating the third one.
The movies themselves were a big influence on public view of dinosaurs. (Especially Velociraptors, which in reality are much smaller, and more recent studies have found that they were feathered like birds.)
But now, after watching again, the acting's pretty off in the first one (except Ian Malcolm, his actor did a good job), and the ending of the second one.. well, it makes no sense.
The books took the much more logical approach- in the second book (The Lost World), Dodgson tries to take eggs, not live fucking tyrannosaurs. He also goes in a small troop, in order not to gather attention. I liked the conflict between Malcolm and Levine in the book, which they removed in the movie.
Also, a huge fleet of helicopters with jeeps flying over to the island? Hah, the Costa Rican officials would be on their ass in seconds. Then the island would blow up the same way the first one did.
(In the books, they napalmed or what-not the first island and destroyed all dinosaurs on the island. The second island was an even-more-secret place that was simply abandoned.)
Other note, in the books, Muldoon is a drunkard, but has more common sense than the sober one in the movie. What is this?
(Although tbh, it's not the one I hate the most, that would probably be something like twilight or that transformers movie)
