So Warcraft has a chance for a sequal? Even though everyone is saying it failed?erttheking said:Uh, again. Pacific Rim 2 is in the works. Your statement of a movie needing 700 million for a sequel? Factually untrue.Samtemdo8 said:Snip

Again if it was a mindless actiony brawl, why was so much of the screentime spent following these un-compelling charcaters OUT of the robots and not fighting monsters?!Scarim Coral said:Same well it was my favourite Summer movie of that year!erttheking said:You think it sucked.
Ok.
I don't think it sucked. To each his own.
It's just a simply mindless actiony brawl kind of movie, what more do you want?
Beside it got a killer themetune!
Same reason why I liked Transformers 1 for the actions and yet more of the screentime spent on the humans.Samtemdo8 said:Again if it was a mindless actiony brawl, why was so much of the screentime spent following these un-compelling charcaters OUT of the robots and not fighting monsters?!Scarim Coral said:Same well it was my favourite Summer movie of that year!erttheking said:You think it sucked.

Yeah probably not. Now, compare and contrast.

Plus there's the whole aspect of Warcraft doing jack shit to bring in people who aren't invested in the lore. And don't tell me to read up on it, I'm not doing fucking homework for a movie.
And don't say critics opinions don't count, because they do. They're what people see when deciding to see a movie. They're the reason I never saw Warcraft.
God's Not Dead is around the same levelSamtemdo8 said:Snip
Than it proves that Duncan Jones is a failure of a director, oh too harsh ok than, Duncan Jonse is not worthy of making a Warcraft movie despite his claims that he is a huge WOW fan. He could not do Warcraft justice which the property does have clear cinematic value, Jones just lacks the talent and vision to do it.erttheking said:God's Not Dead is around the same levelSamtemdo8 said:Snip

And Pacific Rim drew from a MUCH larger pool than both. Also, hate to say it, but people look at critic's opinions a heck of a lot more than the audience's. Plus, like I said, the "Free copy of WoW" gimmick will not work twice.
Uh, ok. That still doesn't do much to help a sequel get greenlight.Samtemdo8 said:Than it proves that Duncan Jones is a failure of a director, oh too harsh ok than, Duncan Jonse is not worthy of making a Warcraft movie despite his claims that he is a huge WOW fan. I mean seriously these guy appearently has not seen much of WOW to comprehend WOW's acting.erttheking said:Uh, ok. It's a moot point though. At the end of the day, Pacific Rim 2 is happening. There's no word on Warcraft 2.
That says it all.
I am not trying to get you invested in WOW I am showing you the difference in acting and characterization.erttheking said:I'd rather not. I have no interest in WoW.Samtemdo8 said:Snip
