Some kinds of pain, I deal with really well.
Things like bruises, cuts and broken bones doesn't bother me that much.
Might be because I've got a bad case of migraine and have to endure massive amounts of pain fairly often.
A bad migraine hurts more than breaking a bone.

The unholy sound and shrieking pain of a dentist drilling in my teeth though...
It was enough to give me dentophobia.
Never again.

I don't really like needles either.
The pain is irrelevant, I'm just not comfortable with strangers sticking things into me in general.

Mind over matter, my friends. I have a small mantra where I say to myself, "Pain is just a feeling, it'll pass in time." I got stitches on my arm recently, and decided to test my philosophy by not taking painkillers. I kept my mind on other things, and eventually realized they were all done. Powerful stuff. So I would say, I have an extremely high pain threshold.

I don't have a high pain tolerance level. I mean I can take paper cuts, and a few punches to the arm, but I bruise easier than a banana in a dryer.

I don't know. I can handle Charley horses, which apparently hurt very much, but I can't handle acid reflux. My stomach acid shot up into my nose. Having your nose and throat burn intensly for an hour or 2 is hard for me. I guess it depends what kind of pain your used to. I think some people can handle one type of pain better than other types of pain. And I think some of you people are either streching the truth or just flat out lying.

Well, I usually can't take much pain before reaching for pain killers. But I think that if medicine isn't available I can tough it out for a bit.

Like when I tripped while jogging a while ago, my entire knee was skinned and blood was everywhere. But I just jogged back home before fainting >.>

I whine a lot at minor pain, but I can keep functioning through pain that would drop most of my friends.

If I could tolerate pain then I would know the name of the King. However, I prefer not to so I take a few aspirin when I can.

I'm good with pain, but women have a higher pain tolerance than men, so I guess that's to be expected. Hehe, actually I think they dispoved that fact.
I'm pretty good, I have a whole bunch of bruises from where my boyfriend and I wrestled, but I kinda kicked him in the face, so he lost.

I'll ***** like crazy for nearly anything, but I don't believe I've ever required pain-killers or hospitalization. Worst thing that's happened was getting my third finger cut into with a sword a few years ago... It scarred, but I have full motion in the finger, so it can't have been too bad.

What kind of pain are we talking about?

Blunt pain, like from a punch or falling, I can take very well. Years of Martial arts, repeated surgeries, and generally being clumsy have done that for me.

Sharp pain, like stinging, static shocks, deep cuts, etc, are much harder to ignore, because the only real way to get used to sharp pain is to repeatedly cut or stab oneself, which is something I have no interest in doing.

I hate needles. I'm not big, macho man, put it that way. I've had my moments though, like the time when nail went through my foot when I was 14. I actually made a bet with myself whether or not I'd cry, and I didn't.

Aww, yeah. Hurt like a fucker afterwards though. I couldn't walk on it, but it wasn't a big enough injury to justify crutches, so I just sort of hopped everywhere. Fun week at school, though.

I had a car door slammed on my ankle without noticing and when I sliced my wrist open at work it took them almost an hour to convince me to get it stitched. Pain is at most an inconvenience and sometimes something appreciated.
