"Oke lads, listen up" There leader shouted. "After some discussion we can up with a plan. There phalanx's are going to draw them towards that spot over there. We will be on that canyon wall overlooking it. So gather your gear, we get paid good drachma for this."

"He Hector, how are the men?" There leader called to him. "Well sir, they are in good spirits. They trust you to make all the right decision and we haven't gone hungry yet." Hector told him.
"Well in that case, play us some thing while were marching. You always seem to know the right song for the right moment."

"Man, we won. Those cheating Spartans now know what happens when they don't pay and we made some profit on the side to."
*A loud cheering comes from the company*
"Know it is time for some rest and fun" There leader said.

"He Hector, how many did you get today." Admentus called to him.
"I think about 12 and you?" Hector said. "You know me, about 20." Admentus called.
"Ehm Admentus, you only had 18 arrows" Midas called. "Aaah, you know what I mean. But have you seen how I took out there leader" Admentus said. "Wait I took him down" Midas called.
"Pah, what do you know. He, Hector which one of us took out there leader?" Admentus said.
Thinking hard, Hector said. "It was the new kid, Zephyrus."
"Aah you always where a spoil sport" Midas said laughing. "Come on Hector, play something for us."

Phoebe opened her eyes, blinking away her fuzzy vision.
She smiled. What a peaceful morning, shee through groggily, stretching herself in the bed as sun came through.
She decided to stay in bed longer. What was the harm in that anyway?
"GET OUT." Shouted a man as he slammed open the door, startling phoebe.
"What?" She sat up suddenly.
The man was ticked off.
He stood at the end of her bed, thrust his pointing finger at the door. "Get out. Now."
"Huh? Why?" Phoebe frowned.
You could see this man was trying to contain his anger, before saying: "ITS BEEN 2 NIGHTS AND YOU HAVENT PAYED UP. You said you only needed a night of rest! You said, oh please i need to stay at this inn! That was all! I thought something was fishy when you HYPNOTISED ME!"
Phoebe snorted "Hypnotise?" But she might aswell been talking to a wall as he carried on ranting.
"BUT NO! SILLY OLD INNKEEPER THOUGHT IT WAS OK TO LET YOU SLITHER IN AND TAKE THE BEST ROOM." He shrieked.
There was an awkward silence for a moment, as phoebe was trying so hard not to break laughter.
Then she sighed, and slowly got herself out of bed and walked over to him.
"Give me one night, pleasee, thats all i ask, and I will pay double. No, triple the ammount I owe" She pleaded
"No." He crossed his arms.
Phoebe put a hand softly on his shoulder "If you do, I would be..grateful" She said whilst fluttering her eyes. Going all out.
The man narrowed his eyes. "How grateful?"
"Erm..very..grateful?" She said uncetainly. Was he actually going to buy this crap?
You could see the anger just wash away as a smile crept onto his face "Alright. ONE night. And youre still paying me"


Phoebe breathed a sigh of relief once she was outside. What an idiot, she thought.
Well, looks like im going to have to do a lot of pick pocketing today, huh..

Jace decided that he had given the man was set to be moved now. He walked back into his tent and saw that the injured one was awake and looking around, he was in obvious pain and looked confused but saw his brother sitting in a chair near him. "Who are you? Why are you covered in blood!" He accused him, Jace just laughed him off, "dont worry, it's only yours. Your borther brought you here, you must have offended some people and you were beaten. Badly" he said as he walked over to a nearby table "but now that you're up" he said as he pounded on the table, waking the other man "you are well enough to leave, just stay off the leg for some time and take it easy" he said as he helped him off the table. His brother quickly took him by the arm and slowly lead him away, leaving a payment of a handful of coin's on the table.

Jace collected the coin's and sat back down for a drink congratulating a simple job done well

As Thaddeus followed the map he found him deeper into the backwater alleys and streets of Delphi. He soon found himself standing outside a single tent being pattered by the rain. The rain started to let up and turn into a light drizzle. Thaddeus slowly entered the tent expecting the worse. His father's directions were vauge but he was determend to find every last person on the list.

"Ummm...excuse me I'm looking for a man known as...Jace. Would you know where I could find him?"

He looked calmly up from his drink, expecting another injured person seeking cheap and effective aid. He was suprised to see a man, who looked for all intent's and purposes perfectly fine. But when he asked for him by name his blood went cold, he remained calm and started running through the reason's he would come there. Not all of them were bad, but a good deal of them were.

"Yes, I do believe I know this man you are looking for" he said as he stood up from the table "but before I direct you to him, may I ask why? He is a friend of mine who I owe a great deal to". He extended a bloody hand holding a cup, "would you care for a drink?"

Pelagius awoke to the sound of his crew returning to the ship. He had fallen asleep on board again, although they were at Salamis and his home had more then enough room for him, He allways found it hard to sleep with out the sounds of the ocean. It had always been this way, his parents told him, as a baby he would wake up crying and they'd take him to the beach to calm him down, and as a child they would always find him there if he had awoke in the night by a nightmare. It was as if the sea contained the voice of a mother singing a lullaby to him.

He slowly got up and made his was to the upper deck to see the commotion.
"What's going on?" he asked his quartermaster.
"We're getting the ship ready to leave as you said." the quartermaster responded.
"Well tell them to stop, I think we will stay here for a few more days." he said stretching his arms. "It's been a while since I've been home and I thought I may enjoy it."
"Yes, of course." replied the quartermaster before he turned around and began to tell the others.

Pelagius made his way off the boat, checking the status of all the sails and oars he passed. This was a habit of his as he often filled several roles on his ship, mostly shipwright and boatswain, as well as being the captain.

He jumped of the side of the ship landing in the water. He looked out into the distance and saw the water churn as if a storm was approaching, but there wasn't a single cloud in the sky.

Thaddeus reached out for the cup as he sat down wondering why the man's hands were bloddied. He sat across from the man casually finishing the drink in one quick gulp.

"I do not truly no why myself. All I do know is that it is an order from the god's themselves. I have been tasked with finding specific indivduals and it seems that your friend is one of them."

Thaddeus placed the scroll on the table and quickly pointed to Jace's name which was glowing at the top of the list.

 

[Zirat]

"Really? The god's themselves?" He said, looking over the list with interest. "What would they want with him, he hasnt done anything of great importance at least as far as I know" he said sitting down across from Thaddeus.

"So, you were just aproached randomly, told to gather these people for no clear reason, and then sent out into the world with no direction" he sighed. Wonderful

"Well, you seem to be a trustworthy fellow" he said getting up from his seat and opening a flap on the tent behind both of them. "Through here is an alley, follow that and you should come to a small home, That is where Jace lives" he said with a straight face, that should throw him off for a while.

"Thank you for your help. May I know your name so that I may thank you properly," Thaddeus started to fish around in his pocket until he pulled out a pouch full of minas.

Rehmes came upon Delphi, the mass of people. She was to meet a man in a alleyway and was to give him proof of his death. She opened her map of Delphi and went to the designated area. Upon arriving a man in a white robe stood their.
'You are Rehmes?'
She nodded.
'You have proof?'
She reached into her backpack and brought out the necklace, the man then took it and inspected it.
'Good.'
Another man came from the shadows carrying a small bag of gold. He was big and wearing armor, a sword at his side.
'Here is the reward.'
He handed it to her and she took it. Without a word she left. The armored man turned to he other.
'A woman?'
The robed man looked back.
'Yes, she is the best they say. Rumor is she is the daughter of Hermes.'
The other man looked startled.
'The daughter of Hermes? Why is she not on Mt. Olympus?'
The robed man shrugged.
'She is illegitimate probably. But why should we care? As long as she gets the job done.'

His eye's widened a bit "no thanks are necessary sir, you seem to be working for a greater cause. Im a no one, who doesnt need to be named. I am keeping you too long, go on and may fortune smile upon your quest" he said with a smile.

The second he leaves, I have to work fast he thought to himself, keeping a steady face.

Thaddeus placed his hand on the man's shoulder.

"Many thanks friend. If you ever need anything look up Thaddeus son of Hermes and I'll be happy to help."

With that Thaddeus made his way through the back heading into a darker alley slowly making his way to the house that was described to him.

Jace went around his tent, packing up the necessities and going over what just happened in his mind. "He seemed like he meant well enough, and he claimed to be the son of Herme's" he mused out loud, "demi-god's are quick to anger, and quick to reciprocate a wrong" his thinking process rebounded, he blew out the candles that lit the tent and waited to see if he would come back.

"If he return's and ask's again. Then I will comply"

 

[Cinnamonfloss]

"Phoebe!" Called a woman wearing a long white dress waving to her.
"Arthma! How are you?" Phoebe smiled "Ooh, is that wine? Can I have it?" She said pointing to the cup the Arthma was holding.
"Hha yes yes...Phoebe we need to talk" Her friend said cheerily with a fake grin.
"Erm..ok?" Phoebe followed her.
"There are rumours about you." her friend said seriously, her grin long gone.
Phoebe snorted and took a sip from the cup. "There are always rumours about me,"
"No. This.. this one is odd," Her friend said "Are you even listening?"
"Where did they make this wine? Its delicious. What? Yes, im listening, what is it?"
Her friend wouldnt say anything for a few seconds. Phoebe lowered her cup and looked at her. "What?"
Her friend sighed, rubbing her forehead and closing her eyes. "Its a stupid rumour, I dont know why I am worrying. But, some people. Theyve been talking about you..and your..hobbies."
"For the love of Zeus just spit it out, Arthma," Phoebe cried imaptiently, gulping downthe rest of the wine
"Theyre saying you are the offspring of a god!" Arthma shouted.
The whole suddeness of the confession made her choke on the wine. Phoebe's joking nature was gone and she aswell had adopted a serious tone.
Phoebe frowned and looked back at Arthma, her throat burning still from the wine.
"Aphrodite. Thats what theyre saying" Arthma said, her eyes narrowed in suspicion of Phoebe's reaction
"What?" Phoebe whispered.
"The priests are after you. They say they'll let you stay at the temple. They'll worship you, bring you everything you desire," Arthma said, "In all honesty, Im jealous. You should fake it. Pretend you are."
Phoebe wasnt listening properly, her thoughts were loud in her head. Who spread this rumour? How did they find out?
Phobe shook her head. "I must go," she said as she gave the cup to arthma and began to walk away. "Arthma you;ve been a good friend. The best. I would give you money, but I need to spend it on the next boat to...wherever."
"What? Wait!" Arthma called after her. "Are you saying its true?"
Phoebe paused for a moment. Could she trust her? "Yes." Was all she said before going off to the nearest dock, leaving Arthma staring after her in awe.

At the end of the path there was a small abonded house. It was one of those homes small children are to afraid to walk by. He slowly crept inside which looked way worse than the outside. It must have been years since the last person who owned this house laid their head. Thaddeus quickly turned around he sprinted back to the tent with unearthly speed. As he entered a tent a wind followed him which shook everything inside. Thaddeus turned to see the man from before carrying a pack.

"I wonder if I ask again will I get a diffrent answer? Where is Jace!?"

He set down the pack "well then, here is your answer: you have already met him" he said with a cheerful grin and a slight bow before turning serious again. "Now you know who I am and I know who you are. So, on the subject of lies, is there anything your not telling me? Regardless of your answer it seem's I am leaving Delphi tonight"

There was a beautiful clearing in the forest, with a small spring running through it. Into the clearing strode a herd of about 10 deer. They were clearly tired, and seeing water, lay down by the stream to rest and drink before starting off again. Then, an arrow sprouted out of one of the deers eye. Before the herd could even react, another arrow flew from the trees and landed another deer. As the herd ran off as fast as it could, a hunter sprang out of the treetops and retrieved his arrows from the two deer. Then came the messy business of skinning. Afterwards, the stream was rather a pinker color, and all that was left of the deer was buried or inside a leather bag, on the back of the hunter as he ran towards the great city of Crete.

Thece walked out of the butchers, coins in hand, bow on back, and was swiftly knocked over as a thief took his not-so hardly earned cash and ran off. Getting to his feet, cursing, he saw he could easily kill him with his bow. Choosing to teach him a lesson instead, he ran after him, going at an easy pace that was still much faster then the thief, and found himself gaining. He was the son of a god, after all. The thief bounded up onto the roof of one of the smaller buildings, then leaped off onto a taller one in an effort to escape, Thece replicated his feat of acrobatics, and added a flip in there for the hell of it. Still gaining, the thief leaped onto the roof of a small chapel dedicated to Hermes, then missed his next jump and slammed into the wall of an adjacent building, and fell onto his back. Dropping down behind the thief, Thece quickly put his skinning knife to the thieves neck and relieved him of his coins.

"That was fun. Try to avoid stealing from someone your age next time, kid. Stick with the middle aged and the nobles and you'll make it in this world. You were pretty fast though, and for that you've earned something." Thece digs through his pockets, and pulls out a handful of diamond rings from Crete's castle. Dropping one onto the thieves sprawled out chest, he stuffed the rest in his pocket and ran off, toward the shipyard so he could perhaps buy some crab for him to eat.

"Well I have told you all that which I know. If there was anything else I would tell you. All that leaves us with this then."

Thaddeus checked the scroll again and noticed Jace's name dissapered. It also showed another map of Delphi. A faint glowing dot dashed across the map.

"Well I dont think we are leaving tonight it seemes we have another recruit for our little gang."

Thaddeus showed Jace the map before making his way out of the tent.

Rehmes put the money in her backpack began her way out of Delphi. She had never liked being near people, it made angry at times. Everything about them just seemed to annoy her. The slow speed they moved to the sounds that came out of their mouths. She was to go anywhere, it didn't bother her as long as the journey was long and away from others she was happy. She smiled at the thought of being alone, no one to slow her down, no one to annoy her, just the beautiful sound of nothing.

Jace glanced at the map before quickly washing the dried blood from his hand's and face. He walked back out and looked at the map again.

"Well, we may want to hurry it up. They seem to be leaving this fair city" he said as he walked toward's the area located on the map, knowing this city well he cut through a nearby alley and continued on his way. "Coming Thaddeus?"
