Fine, here's the short version, lazy froob;

-Everyone except Mshcher arrives on time in the UXE Sector, where we are to be briefed regarding our mission. Mshcher has to run to the UXE sector, and by the time she does she is exhausted and feeling very unwell; she starts to puke.

-The line is incredibly long, and therefore after employing a variety of different methods, from shouting 'There's a bomb in the line' to vomiting over everyone, to pushing over guards, the team start a riot and then simply go inside.

-No one has their papers, we all blame Teafo, except Spartan, who was ordered to blame Teafo.

-Teafo leaves the mission brief early, we blame Teafo, and call him a communist traitor.

-Some silly fool gives us a brief; he tells us we're to...crap, I THINK we're supposed to be recovering some citizen from R & D and some robot he's taken with him, and this silly briefing fool didn't give us this man's name, so after I'd basically explained why that would end in me reporting him, I learnt his name, and passed it on to Divine; Patric-O-DUL

-Teafo makes some tiny mistakes, we all blame him for it, repeatedly, especially when he says he is the 'equipment guy' when he obviously isn't, and then when I suggest that Teafo cannot be trusted, a burning smell was smelt by smellers, and it turned out I had been somehow set on fire.

-I scream at Teafo, whilst the incompetent berks that are my team pour coffee on me, decide whether or not they should help me, then pretty much extinguish my corpse; one clone down for me.

-I scream at Teafo.

-I scream at Teafo a bit more.

-I question why I am set on fire when I scream at Teafo.

-I call Teafo a traitor and a mutant, Divine and Mshcher whole-heartedly agree, and Divine orders Spartan to agree as well, for numerous reasons, we proclaim Teafo a traitor.

-The Computer investigates this, but finds no evidence of unregistered mutated powers in Teafo; probably because the cheeky git spent all his PP on it to make the Computer's roll fail.

-We question the Computer's logic...the Computer asks if we are questioning its logic, and we say we aren't. Computer deems us all to be unhappy, and gives us happy pills.

-We all take happy pills.

-We are all happy.

-Happiness is manditory.

-Teafo feels sick, and vomits. We are too happy to blame him for this.

-Mshcher invents the word 'Bunny', as no one has ever seen a bunny before, this makes her very funny.

-Mscher repeatedly shouts out bunny.

-Mscher interrupts people by shouting bunny.

-We all discuss the word bunny.

-Happy pills start to wear off.

-We become aware that it is not very funny that Teafo has gotten sick all over himself and the floor. As Cleanliness Officer I accuse him of pollution. Divine accuses him of not being happy enough, and Mshcher accuses him of both of those things, and continues to put bunny in her sentences.

-The Computer investigates...again, and after failing to find Teafo a traitor...again, a Scrubot finds two Happy pills that have not been swallowed.

-I suggest that the two pills were regurgitated by Teafo, and that he is both guilty of pollution AND not taking his pills.

-The Computer deems that the pills are Divine's, who must now take these pills.

-The pills are covered in saliva and vomit; they are quite obviously Teafo's, the traitor that he is.

-Divine takes the pills under orders from The Computer.

If you want a REALLY short version;

-Teafo is a commie mutant assassin traitor who set me on fire and killed me.

Qayin, you just made my day with that whole summary. Good show for exhibiting a far more acute sense of wittiness than my own.

Now, I really have to find the movies Wilson recommended, because I feel like I wasn't really up to par in the game and some good research on the whole atmosphere on the game through movies maybe would help me.

Really? I felt you were the MOST convincing in your role - you certainly ordered Spartan about with efficiency and an air of pompous authority.

I actually thought you'd played Paranoia before...does NO ONE know what they're doing?!

I didn't even play a tabletop game before this session in my whole life, hah. It's like I said to Mshcher, who also had no idea what she was doing: I just roleplayed and hoped for the best.

So I'm guessing that's the secret to playing Paranoia: Not knowing what the heck you're doing.

Anyways, I digress. Not sure if Wilson minds us discussing about the game in this thread. Actually, I'm quite afraid to do anything in fear of my character being vaporized right now as some kind of sick pre-punishment for my actions here.

It's not like Wilson didn't make me initiate with my second clone since I clicked the orange clearance link before finding out that I actually was given an orange clearance character, ack! (Albeit, he did allow me to start with my first clone in the actual game)

And as my 5th edit note: I still hold record for making people confused on when was Wilson talking through my mouth or not. Hah hah. Even if the same happened with others but shut up.

Damn, now I want the next game to start...

As long as Teafo doesn't set me on fire this time, that is.

So no feedback from wilson? The premise was to entertain him as much as we entertained ourselves.

Also, I haven't been in The Escapist since the beginning so is anyone able to tell me how many times wilson actually changed his avatar?

PS: Finally watching Brazil. VeohTV is of use after all.

Sorry, been working on my lesson plans, not really enough time right now to give meaningful feedback.

Avatar: Let's see, I had a pic of myself for a while, a patapon character, then I had the Chinese Redguard avatar. After that I did the bulldog for a couple months, followed by the Labour Day poster, and now the Halloween poster. Plan is to do one for each major holiday in a communist theme. I can't wait for Columbus day.

uh columbus day communism? I'm a little intrigued...

Qayin, for the last time, I'm not responsible for any fires!!!! HAHAHA I know it's all in good fun, and excellent RPing, I found myself literally laughing hysterically in the lounge at the nearby university where I'm using the internet while reading your short version of events.

glad to see I made such an impression on the game I guess... Hope to get in another session soon :)

So we all take it this was a success? If we totally ignore Wilson in case he didn't enjoy it, Mscher agrees that she also enjoyed this and I order Spartan to not change his mind about this being fun for him, then this was a happy endeavor.

Also, I vote for Qayin to start writing the best moments from now on if Wilson finds himself unable to.

That won't work. We weren't happy enough. Plus, you made Qayin very unhappy before we were all drugged. Plus plus, you were (not) the equipment guy, you only got promoted to happy dispenser in the end. Don't cheat your way out of this. Cheaters are traitors. Not Sheetos though. Still hate those.

I should easily be able to get on at 8:20 PM GMT, so I have no problems with this schedule.

I'll also happily do a summary for every game, as long as you guys expect it to suck.

As for you, my traitorous Teafo, why is it that as soon as I question your loyalty, I am assassinated?

Sorry to be the one to spoil everything. But saturday I'm working from 11-7 my time, and the game would be 12:20. Just over an hour after I start work :(

I promised feedback; here it is. I am sorry for the tardiness, school just started and I've been dividing my time between lesson plans and being sick (I still am sick, but the lesson plans are all done!)

Turns, we need to take turns talking. Say one thing you're going to do, there is a turn system, wait till everyone else has said what they are going to do. If necessary I will assign initiative like D&D though this will slow things down significantly. The more spam in the IC window, the slower the game will go, and the less we'll get accomplished.

Random shit, for all intents and purposes players should focus a little more in the mission and things like secret missions and team missions should come second. I don't want you to ignore them, I just want you to be more subtle about how you accomplish your goals.

Secret actions, telekinesis, mind reading, projectile vomiting need to be done in secret. I will start killing you for announcing traitorous actions out loud.

Pacing, this is the heart of any good story, we don't want the story to be about people standing around arguing. Be subtle in your treason, and above all BE ENTERTAINING.

Watch Brazil at the very least, please. This is an important movie because it explains the bureaucracy of the world better than any other I've seen.

Qayin is now the official stenographer or court reporter, whichever tickles his fancy.

If you can't make a game it's fine I won't be cutting anyone out, and random additions to the team might happen.
