I'm confused by that statement. Please explain if further. I really enjoyed Blitzball.

At least I did in X. X-2, not quite as much

OT: If I notice it, I don't like grinding. The good games don't make me notice though.

Raiden's Girlfriend in Metal Gear2: sons of liberty

Sweet loving jesus but she annoyed the crap out of me.

*CALL INCOMMING*

Rose: Honey you there?

Raiden: What is it, im busy rescuing the president...

Rose: do you remember the day we met?

Raiden: What?

Rose: we don't talk enough anymore...

Raiden: Honey, im trying to rescue the leader of the free world here

Rose: Do you ever think about having children?...

Raiden: Arrrgh "

Seriously.... you buy a game to do a stealthy military killy shooty death type thing, and you end up with a game with an imaginary girlfriend who wants to have a domestic with you every five minutes.

Any part of new Sonic games :p
Anyways, honestly later parts of Ikaruga on the Gamecube. I mean, past level three I just don't see how you can get past the game without infinite continues! (which, the game IS nice enough to give to you. After 15 hours, but still)

Modern Warfare 2: multiplayer - Anytime there is a cheater. The name Hacker is too good. I doubt 99% of these lame skilless idiots have designed there own hacks. So in turn, any lame cheater that happens into a game is instantly a game killer. (Im decently skilled, but still get killed a lot. I have no problem with this. However, Cheating is still usually pretty obvious. THAT I have a problem with.)

The part in the Star Wars: Phantom Menace game where you have to escort Queen Amadala to the ship bay while the droids attack the city. There is bits where you have to go on alone for a bit to scout around to remove an obstacle to move on. This can take about 20 minutes. but you have to go back every few minutes to check on the Queen, and shes always getting shot by a lone random droid repeatedly, just accepting it. Doesn't she have a gun?

Also Water levels in 2D mario games. They. Are. Not. Fun!

I actually hated blitzball on my first playthrough of X. But then my friend showed me how to play and really got me into it.

Indigo Prophecy's QTE's are infuriating, it wouldn't be so bad if they weren't required to progress. They're absolutely rage inducing.

Sephiroth in KH2, until I realised I could just spam that reflect spell (Reflega? I don't know) and barely even get hurt.
So then I changed it to escort/defence missions, and I will continue to hate on these insidious examples of tedium until they do not exist anymore. Prototype is probably the only example of a game I am willing to play despite these, and that's only because there is a decent amount of stuff to do in new game+, and so I don't have to touch them anymore.

MW2 where you have to defend the computer, then run all the way to the extraction point while surrounded and if you die 1 foot away from the goal then you lose and have to start from the computer again.

Fetch quests within fetch quests that are over 80 miles away from each other.
And as an added bonus, once you reach your goal, you die anyways.

OT: I hate when some "plot twist" comes straight out of left field.

You mean Captain Price isn't a psycopath, but some sort of clairvoyant God, who knew exactly when to launch a nuclear weapon that would detonate over Washington DC, so as to give the other player character a fighting chance!?!?!?!? IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE SAYING?!?!?!?!?!?

Escort missions, you could be the most skilled player and be able to defeat any enemy in the game but then your weak escort dies and you fail.
