oh. And a pro tip for drinking. If your a youth in these days, chances are you want to get drunk. And the easiest way, if you dont like alcohol is to mix rum/vodka with soda, as in sprite or somethn. But you grow tired of that sugary sh!t in a heartbeat. So- get a big glass, lots of ice cubes and mix rum, bacardi razz is great, with non-sugary mineral water(with a taste of lemon/lime) and top with a slice of said fruit. The result is an easy to drink mix, which you can drink for hours without the breathing problems of sugary slime in your throat from 2liters of sprite/fanta lemon or schweppes. Go get drunk!

Most of it, is just not finding the appeal in getting shit drunk to the point whereas you can't even remember your own name, let alone stand. Why anyone would want to do that, and deal with the disastrous hangover afterward.. is just bizarre to me. *Shrugs*
We do it not because of the hangover, but because of how it is before the hangover. That should be quite obvious... It's fun. You let loose. You go crazy. You can be different in a different setting. It's a perfect way to relieve stress after a hard week of work or school.

Also, people very rarely forget their own name ;)

My "type" would be someone who completely abstains from drinking alcohol. I'm the one who has to drive the drunk people home. Or at least, I would if I went to real parties. I've driven my father home before when he was drunk, if that counts.

What part would you like to discuss about it? I've made my choice in life to stay sober, and I like it that way.

As for why people would want to drink, I've been told it's just to chill out. I've got other ways of doing that, and I don't quite like the negative effects of drinking.
But... You're 16... How can you not want to be drunk? Even if just a little? You don't like the negative effects? Come on, man :) Experience life a little. Have fun.

Haha. I'd make sure to call 911 before that meeting. Stalker alert ;--)

Nope, not drunk. I'm passive by nature and I'm not really all the outgoing. I'm just not the partying type.
That would explain it perfectly. Not being drunk at a party is incredibly dull. I've only tried it a few times, on orders of my doctor, and I was bored out of my mind.

I spend time with people, yes. And you can be cuddled in your couch with someone, doesn't have to just be me =p. But I don't like loud and noisy parties. I don't enjoy spending my days off jumping around on a floor to music I hate with people I don't know and have no interest in knowing =3.

I don't like beer, and I don't like fish. Can't enjoy that combination then =p. I rarely eat chicken, but I enjoy white wine for starters and almost always red for the main course, which is also pretty much always something nice and meaty =p. I LOVE meat, and wouldn't call a meal a meal without it.

I also like something strong after dinner, but I can't legaly drink it in Norway, so I only ever get that when I'm on vacation in some other country where I can.

I spend time with friends every day, except for a small number of days when I feel like being alone. And even then I'll end up getting visitors or something =D.
To each their own, I suppose - and you're obviously not a total recluse or hermit, so I'll stop bothering you about that :) Sorry, man.

Cheers!

I have absolutely no desire to get drunk. You are right, I don't like the negative effects. I've grown up with alcoholics, and have decided alcohol is not for me.

This is a very very last reply, but I live in Osaka, do a lot of hard research everyday and drinking is essential to my survivial

It helps me to forget the horrible horrible-ness of research

A friend of mine, he actually has to work in a fridge.
