How can you compare a fat man's belly to the aura of awesomeness that surrounds Patrick Stewart? He has the most awesome voice around.

I used to think James Corden was an alright person who was fairly funny.

Now I think he's a dick.
That's exactly how I feel now.

I mean how, why would you say that to one of the most respected actors/Thespians and Chancellor of my towns university!

James Corden is a c*nt.

Can I say c*nt here? Well... he is. He's not funny. At all.
[Edit: Self-censored. he's an utter utter wanker though.]

I don't really know or care enough about either. Picard is no match for Data!

So, given the lack of information about either party, I have to assume that they're both wankers by default.

Neither can take the moral high ground there I don't think. Unprofessional on both of their parts. Would have thought they would have known better.

Corden is NOT good at coming up with jokes on the spot at a high calibre. Look at his "sketch" show that failed miserably

I know from several awkward failed-joke panics that when a joke dosen't work, you just turn to insults to get cheap laughs out of the third party.

It's a bit cruel, and it's very stupid

'Bout time you posted, ya stinkin' lurker.

OT: Agreed, it was unprofessional. Though Corden wasn't being the greatest showman, Pat shouldn't have brought it up on stage.

Corden's one of these guys whose famous for....um that's the problem, everything he has ever done is dire! Lesbian vampires, his diabolical sketch show, Gavin and Stacey is what he's really famous for and even thats not great (in fact i think it's rubbish but lots of other people like it). Watch Patrick Stewart kissing another man in Lifeforce and tell me he isn't willing to suffer for his art!!

ahaha yes bout time :p

My point exactly. Neither of them should have acted that way. If they had issues they should have been resolved afterwards

James Corden, ahahahah.

He writes a shitty sitcom set in the Welsh Valleys sells it to the English for a small fortune and he's accelerated to godhood among comedians.
He'll never be a Spike Milligan, Tony Hancock or anyone of that calibre but people still covert him as a world breaking genius.

I think Patrick Stewart was just making a light hearted jab at Corden as he'd been ripping into celebrities all night long. Seems he can't take the heat when it's turned on him.
Of course he can't take the heat, I can pretty much guarantee if anyone gets above him he'll go "I was bullied as a child" and every insipid fucker will go "awwww, poor fat boy"
It's f**king sad because it's true. Why the f**k did people cheer when he got his fat stomach out? Sorry but obesity isn't something we should be encouraging, or acting like a bratty 16 year old from Jerry Springer.
The reason he got cheered is because he's a talentless hack just like they are, they were celebrating his body in an effort to look compassionate to the fat comedian when the truly ironic twist is that they would hate themselves if they had his body.

I'm sorry if I sound like a huge asshole, but seriously, a thespian wouldn't have cheered him, as evidence by what started the whole mess.

I hadn't heard of him until this incident. Oh well, doesn't look like I'm missing much.

There is a fine line between having some fun on stage and being a complete and total cockwaffle.

Corden made himself into the latter.

What an absolute jerk. Obviously he felt inadequate to be on-stage with someone as great as Sir P. as he would lose all the attention to someone who had actual talent and charisma. Let's all hope he gets a heart attack from being so overweight.

Too damn true. You don't sound like an asshole saying that a fat man with no class or dignity was out of line, and yeah, damn ironic they applauded a fat man when they probably spend a huge amount of time on appearance and staying as far from that look as possible.
Ermm, thanks!, I'm feeling the bromance, are you?, its just when I recieved the messaged an advert for Knight Rider was playing (dudun dededed dudun) and then I saw your avatar of Arnold and thought, wow... this guy fucking rocks.

Please tell me you look like Arnold and the Knight Rider theme tune plays whenever you enter a room.

and on a serious note, hopefully this issue has created a shitstorm on other parts of the internet to allow Corden to be pulled up on the hack that he is.

Patrick Stewart shows his razor sharp wit here. James Corden can't hold a candle to him - in any way.

Besides... What should have happened....

Patrick Stewart: "One more, you want one more?"

*Draws phaser, vaporizes James Corden - Audience applauds*

I know a lot of us here are fans of Stewart's, but..."If you fancy the Jonas brothers, cover your belly"...what the fuck?

It seemed to be that he (Picard) had been on the sauce that night...he didn't exactly come across as a sober man. I'm not siding with Corden, he should have disarmed the situation, after all he is the comedian, but that was just plain terrible to watch.

Am I the only one that thinks that Stewart was more in the wrong than Corden here? It seems to me like Stewart thought Corden was being ill-mannered and he shouldn't have been but really, who actually cares? would it have killed him to just tell Corden that he should look more interested in future offstage, instead of announcing it to the whole audience? I do think that Corden's reaction was a little bit too much but I still think Stewart should have kept his opinions to himself.

Personally, I think Patrick Stewart is an amazing actor and James Corden is really funny but if someone starts insulting me on stage, I don't care who they are or what they've done, I'm not going to stand there and take it just because ''Patrick Stewart is teh legendaries!''.
