Maybe the PC build is a bit behind, and so they can't release a demo at the same time (or at all).
You did, I was going to go on to comment that minimum specs are meaningless, playing at 2fps is a bit worthless, but then I noticed this wasn't even true, Bulletstorms minimum exceeds Borderlands recommended.Delusibeta said:I thought I made it obvious I was referring to the minimum specs of all three games. Huh.
Source please. I can't find Borderlands getting "recommended" specs, only minimum specs.Rack said:You did, I was going to go on to comment that minimum specs are meaningless, playing at 2fps is a bit worthless, but then I noticed this wasn't even true, Bulletstorms minimum exceeds Borderlands recommended.Delusibeta said:I thought I made it obvious I was referring to the minimum specs of all three games. You clearly do not understand the meaning of 'fanboy'.Cuy said:You are a CoD fanboy. And I dunno if you've had this revelation yet, but EA are pretty much shitting all over the PC and the Xbox 360 in favor of the PS3. Case of point; the release of Portal 2 on PS3, the release of Mass Effect 2/3 on PS3, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Medal of Honor beta and last but not least Dead Space 2. That good enough for ya?
How exactly is it that being annoyed that I might be unable to play a Demo, a product explicitly designed to help me determine if my money is well spent on a product or not the result of some overblown sense of entitlement? If anything, not purchasing the game because I am unable to make a proper judgment through a common avenue is unavailable is entirely reasonable.Kasurami said:And once again, the PC gaming crowds sense of entitlement is kicking right in. Seriously, you didn't hear all the console gamers up in arms when the PC got that MoH beta.
Well, in that case I would gently suggest avoiding using the term for mere 'fans', as it tends to have a negative connotation when used.Cuy said:Don't get your panties in a tangle, son. I use the phrase fanboy for anyone who's a fan of something. I consider myself a Just Cause 2 fanboy for an instance, despite being what others would merely call being a "fan" of it.
Well, there's the presumption that because we only first spoke three days ago that you haven't been stalking me for the last 2 years...Cuy said:What makes you think I don't know of your posting history?
actually, serious sam was done by croteam, although they are very similar.BJ777 said:Well, don't forget the PC exculsives, such as Serious Sam or Painkiller.suubersnake said:That's somewhat lame. And I liked People Can Fly too...
THEY didn't come out for the PS3/XBOX, did they? And they are one of the funniest games of the 21st century.
Whereas what you're doing is completely different? Heck, I was only joking and I apologised for going too far, and he admitted I was spot on about the elitist part anyway.Cuy said:Cool story bro, honestly. I don't give two shits about what you game on, what I was trying to say, which you obviously couldn't quite comprehend, was that you were flaming him. And I was merely trying to understand why you would do that, but now I know. It's because you're an internet tough guy. Thanks for helping me solve the riddle.Geo Da Sponge said:I only game on PC now. Yes I own an Xbox 360, but I ended up leaving it at home when I moved to University, so I do most of my gaming on Steam. I spent far too much on the Steam Christmas sale and I'm particularly enjoying my new discovery of Rome: Total War. So yeah, I'm totally a console peon. Did your failed attempt at being a snob make you feel better?Cuy said:Does desperately trying to flamebait PC gamers make you feel better about being a console peon? Because I can't see any other reason for why you would act like this much of a dick towards him.Geo Da Sponge said:Ooh, I cam up with a good definition for elitism the other day!loc978 said:Another generic douchebag shooter not coming out for the PC?
...good. We're a niche crowd, and we need to stay a niche crowd.
"Being part of a special small group, and wanting it to remain as small as possible."
Anyway, was that the best argument you could come up with?
"You're not getting a Bulletstorm demo."
"Fine, we didn't want your stupid demo anyway!"
OT; It's almost as if they're asking me to pirate the game.
Ignore him. He gets his jollies from winding people up.Geo Da Sponge said:I mean I don't get why you're trying to make a big deal out of this. I said something that wasn't as funny as I thought, you became very aggressive and leapt in while the situation had already calmed down.
I'll leave the latch off.Cuy said:I'm a creepy ************. Keep that in mind when you go to bed tonight.
Yeah. I kind of gathered that from the post that earnt him his probation.MiracleOfSound said:Ignore him. Does make sense, considering CliffyB's comments on the PC format.CheckD3 said:It's as a co-worker of mine explained it, because Epic games makes games for the X360, it's going to get to first dibs on the best stuff. Then it's going to get ported to the PS3, a newly booming system, not as many extras because Gears is still 360 exclusive and the fav. console for Epic, but next because it's got a big enough base. The PC is going to get shafted because it's a People May Fly game, but Epic has hold on the money strings, so PMF will listen and do stuff they want to do first.
As People can Fly have done some incredible work on PC in the past, I've personally got some high hopes for the PC version.RhombusHatesYou said:And pray the PC version isn't a shitty port?Jacob.pederson said:So play the demo on your 360, then buy the PC version![]()
