I have fallen in love with Rifts. I think it's a btter version of WOW. Less 14 year old trolls running around telling chuck jokes or your momma jokes or being, in general, insufferable little pricks.

Whats your vote?

Witcher 2.

Great RPG.

Does not hold youre hand, has a mature story, looks great, plays great. I just dont know what more to say about it, its a gem for me.

Ah, another member of Yahtzee's so called PC master race. Hello, glad to meet a fello :p

I'd vouch for this too... its just... great.
The worst part of it for me was the fact that the shitty auto-detect graphics said my computer was naturally set to Ultra... and I was warmly welcomed into the game with Geralt running away from something, I didn't know if I was ment to see them or not because the 3 FPS I was getting didn't allow for much clarity.

After the patch its ALL GOOD :D

Still Portal 2 for me. Most of this year's releases have been all hype, no delivery.

So far I'll go with Alice: Madness Returns. The whimsical artsy crazy stabby-ness of the whole thing is just magic for me.

Witcher 2 follows very closely in second though, with Dragon Age 2 following very closely behind it. Though I have yet to play Portal 2 OR Duke Nukem Forever, so, who knows.

Dragon Age 2.
Portal 2 was sub par, as was Witcher 2, but Dragon Age was fantastic.

Not to offend, but are you serious?

OT: I honestly haven't found a game release this year I've liked. Haven't gotten Portal 2 yet, and the rest of the games I give a damn about don't come out till november.

Yes I am.
Granted, I am exaggerating on Witcher 2 a little bit, because it was pretty decent, it just wasn't as good as Dragon Age 2 for me.

I meant for saying DA2 was good. I tried the demo of it and thought it was horrible.

Saints Row 2. Oh, this year. League of legends. Damn. Uh...

Magicka I guess. The only other game I've liked released this year was Portal 2. I do still need to get around to playing The Witcher 2

Glad you got out while you could. The game was so bland I can't remember anything that happens in it.

Considering that I've only bought two games so far this year (owing to massive disinterest in everything else that's come out), it has to be Dawn of War 2: Retribution; 118 hours clocked up so far, numerous skirmishes played and at least 9 playthroughs of the campaign; I'm still enjoying it considerably.

Obviously though, when Skyrim comes out, that is highly likely to take the GOTY from it, but till then, its DoW2: Retribution.

I thought it was pretty good myself. Nothing ground breaking and clearly Bioware's weakest game, but still good.

OT: Portal 2.

Easy.

I've only played one PC game this year, because of my limited 1.5 GB's of RAM, so I'll go with Portal 2.

I agree, all those choices that actually do shit in The Witcher 2 are a real *****.

OT: Portal 2 or The Witcher 2. Both are fantastic.

Dragon Age 2 felt like it had been made by a middling developer (a somewhat lazy one at that), Crysis 2 was neutered to the high fucking heavens, and I can't remember what else I've bought new this year.
