*Only the Undermaster occupies the room, sitting at the head of the table enjoying some venison and drink*
Hello again, Phillip. Please, have a seat. The other guild members are currently indisposed at the moment, I will be sure to properly introduce you at a later time.
*waits for Phillip to be seated*
Now, before I explain to you your specific duties, I need to explain the Guild's situation. Currently, we only have four active members, with two others inactive, and our master unheard from in quite some time. Essentially, that makes me the Guildmaster. The other active members are our Herald, whom you've already met, our trainer, Zaraki, and yourself. Recruiting has been tough, despite our bountiful flow of work and adventure (until recently). So, right now our focus is on recruitment as well as funding. Funding comes from any odd job or contract we can take. I hate to say it, but we're desperate, so we take what we can get.
So, with all of that said, here is exactly what we expect from you. First and foremost, everyone in the Guild must be a capable fighter. Every member is a warrior. I have no doubt you can handle yourself, but I'd like to see you fight with our trainer once he has returned, just so I can see you in action.
Second, your duties as cartographer are fairly straightforward. You use your extensive geographical knowledge, coupled with reports from our scouting parties (usually just me right now, since we have low manpower) to create maps of the area in which each contract will be taking place. Now, this service is not necessary for every contract or mission, but make no mistake, you are an integral part of our larger, more lucrative undertakings.
When you are not working on maps, you may elect to occasionally to take contracts, either with other members or by yourself. Contracts are posted in the Guild Hall either by myself or the Herald. Anyone can take them provided they do not have outstanding duties.
Well, I think that's about it for now. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to come to me or any of the other members. Make yourself at home in the Guild Hall, the others should be returning soon.
*Finished with both the conversation and his meal, Wrath stands, clears his table area, and leaves the room. He stops at the doorway and turns back to Phillip*
Welcome to the Guild.
