Nature finds a way
It is very interesting that your body forces you to breath.

Apparently at some point in evolution it wasn't required and those without the requirement gene ended up suffocating.

There is such thing as fatally retarded.

I'm guessing, I haven't put much research into this because Obama shut down Wikipedia.

I see the conspiracy, it was a black out after all.

I'll...I'll see myself out.

I'm royally sad that the person who made that image hid their last names.

These kind of people are truly dispicable and should have terrible weeks, months, or years of badgering by strangers.

Then the next time they want to joke about hundreds of thousands of people being slaughtered by conventional and nuclear fire they'll think twice.

That's why he ultimately wound up signing the appropriations bill with that rider that let American citizens be kidnapped by the government

WTF your government is allowed to kidnap there citizens :O why they hell do people live there again that's f*&#ed up.
I'm not actually sure what he's talking about, since an Appropriation Bill relates to money...

Maybe he meant the Patriot Act? In that case, you can be held indefinitely with no trial if suspected of terrorism, yes.
That is still very messed up that you can be locked up with no trial potentially just because somebody with power doesn't like you...

No. There was an appropriations bill passed about a month ago that had a rider on it which pretty much extended the PATRIOT act to American citizens on American soil. There was a small uproar, but not much of one because, as a rider in an innocuous sounding bill, nobody really knew it was there until it was too late. Obama talked about vetoing it, but it cleared the senate at something like 63-27, so there wasn't really much he could do.

I'm pretty sure Obama's main duty as president is to absorb all the hate that Americans have over the various unrelated problems in their day to day lives.

That's the natural conclusion I've reached from everything I read about him.

Are people really this stupid?

I mean...really?!
Did you mean for your post to perfectly reflect the look on Pinkie Pie's face in your avatar? Because the effect is awesome =) I actually 'heard' your post in her voice...

As for the people concerned...well sad as it is, I'm not surprised at 'panic' over Wikipedia being down from the kind of people who only use Wikipedia to do their homework. These people make me sad in the same way that I get sad when you see a kid who actually believes that steak grows in the little styrofoam trays in the supermarket....

Yes, SOPA was just a master plot concocted by the president to shut down Wikipedia for a while thus preventing us from accessing information that would save the Earth.

Seriously, how do these people breath?
I support this comment because I enjoy sarcasm and discrimination against the stupid.

High-five, good sir.

Oh, they're just blaming the man in charge for all of this of course.
people have always been doing this and blaming others (especially leaders) for a very long time.
Lets just hope they aren't serious enough to start a petition. :0 gasp*

I really lose faith in humanity sometimes. Wikipedia even said how to disable the block if they actually read the learn more section.
Don't remember seeing anything like that, but I do remember reading about the blackout only lasting 24 hours. I just waited until then. People could've at least tried using Google for research instead. :/

Does anyone remember that stuff we used to have? like pieces of paper with writing and information on, they used to come all bundled together in one big collections that you could open and read... What was it called now?

Maybe these pissed students should go out and find one of those to pass their classes.

I went to work the day of the blackout and asked some of my co-workers if they had noticed the blackout.

one girl replied "Oh yeah, wikipedia shut down to protest internet piracy"
Me "facepalm"

Oh yeah I've tried those before, it sucked though because I couldn't figure out how to ctrl+f or copy+paste anything.
