I'm 21, and was born 11.12.89. Since i have a late birthday, i started school in 1995 and graduated in 2008 in a class where the average birth year was 1990, so in a way, i kinda grew up more with 90s babies than 80s babies. My oldest friend-friend is born in 89 also. Most of my friends are born in 90. So, i don't even really think of myself as an 80s baby. However, it's weird running into people born in the mid-late 90s.

I graduated in 2008, and my cousin was born in 1994, and she's about to be a senior. I don't even feel like i've been out of high school that long (only 3 years), and i almost flipped when i realized that the seniors are now all born in 1994, the juniors in 1995, the sophomores in 1996, and the freshmen are born in 1997. That makes me feel old.

Born in November 1989, so it's like OP; spent more time with people born in the late 80's- early 90's. Still, when I see someone born in the 90's I always imagine a kid.

*You* make me feel old taking like that. bah!

What really makes me feel old is talking to kids who can hardly conceive of life without the internet, cell phones and who are horrified by good ol' bulky cathode ray tube Tv/monitor's.

...and now excuse me while I chase the kids off my lawn.

yeah, i didn't even get internet until around 1999. I was 9 years old then, but even then, i didn't use it all of the time. Way too slow for that lol

What makes me feel old is that I realise that children being born now are going to view me like I view people born in 1945, that's a whole different era...I'm fast becoming a relic. Also it is odd seeing people born in the 90's, they were babies during my teenage years, I was out getting wasted and chasing girls when they were in nappies...and now they are at the age when they are out getting wasted and chasing girls, makes you feel old I tells ya.

Kinda? I was born at the dawn of the 80's (early 1980). I don't usually feel old unless, well unless I'm on this website. I think it helps that I've been an uncle since I was 14. I've seen someone from the mid 90's grow up right in front of me. My perspective of time slows down and... holy crap my nephew is graduating high school this year. I feel old.

I was born in 86 and I know EXACTLY what you mean. Most of my classmates were born in 87, so I was one of the oldest in the group. What really blew my mind was when my neighbor graduated High School... she wasn't even a freshman yet when I graduated. Made me feel SO OLD. I'm 23 and I feel old as dirt. >_<

I also greatly dislike that most of the people who wait on me in service areas, like waitresses and people who work at the movies, or cashiers, are obviously younger than me. I'm like "go back to playing with Barbies and Tonkas and leave the work to the grown ups."

Yeah. I was born in the very early 80's, so whenever I think of someone born in the late 80s and 90s, my mental image is of a young kid or a toddler, lol. Running into people online and in games who were only just in diapers when I was starting college is kind of disturbing.

My best friend is fifteen, and I always think "But... you were born 1996! You should be five at the most!"

I was born in 1988 so my earliest memories are of things from the 90's. I do feel old though...but at the same time I still feel like I'm a teenager. Hard to explain...
