People should seriously take a competence test before playing Left 4 Dead.

This is why you should buy the PC version of co-op games. Console users are such tards.

I've seen some of that on pc as well. Consoles dont have a monopoly on idiots, only alot of them.

Just afew points that are mentioned.

I've found that due to L4D's extremely wierd pounce mechanics I will sometimes end up on the tongued survivor instead of the guy rescuing him. Sometimes its not buggery that happens its just shit collision detection.

Survivors that keep moving forward is both a good and a bad point, the guys I play with don't rush forward but stick together. I find sticking together is a much more valuable tactic and searching out those medpacks yields better results than those tards who think its a footrace.

And as for the pounce an active survivor instead of a tank downed one, I think this is more of a situational thing than a constant rule. I will pounce a survivor who is down if the other buggers are busy contending with the tank simply because people frequently get blinkered by the tank itself and focus on taking it down before saving other people, netting me a nice kill and one less survivor to deal with.

Its the same on pc. You will happily be firing down a corridor when someone will jump in front of you then scream about friendly fire. The dickhead will shoot you back cos it cant possbly be their fault!
In another game i joined just after they had started, i got poucned by a hunter as i was still trying to get my bearings. I catch up with the rest of the group and walk into a room and see a boomer, knowing its going to gte me anyway i try to save some teamates by shooting it and taking the bile, but the rest of the team run in and get covered. I hide in a closet and pick of whoever i can. They then kick me as they think im doing on purpose, wankers

Although I've had a few of the same problems as the original poster my biggest one, even though minor in comparison to most of his points is ducking! Why do people in front seemingly refuse to duck? So they get the most kills? Dunno where the button is located? Too use to FPS' where you stay mobile? I mean, seriously, you have 4 survivors, close together, the two in front ducking, two behind stood up, impossible for any infected, human or ai controlled to take you down. (Ok fine, cept tank and witch but..) Is it just me that notices that most damage when the average horde of infected charge you is done from a stray friendly fire bullet?

OMG THAT HAPPENS TO ME! Honestly. On Expert its a huge HUGE problem, especially if you have the auto shotgun and some stupid teammate won't get down in front. Once, I killed my entire team because they all ran in front of me in an attempt to get away from the Tank I was unloading into. I was kicked quite quickly.

BUT, its kinda common sense not to run in front of a gun, aint it? Or is XBL too immersed in the idea of FRIENDLY FIRE OFF?

I get hours of entertainment out of my housemate when he's playing l4d. All you can hear is him at the top of the stairs screaming at noobs, almost as much fun listening to him as playing the game itself.
