It needs to be done in a "grand theft mammoth style" and to pick up hookers you club them over the head and drag them back to your cave.

Cavemen RPG.

What's there to RP about? It's not like cavemen led very deep and interesting lives; kill animals, gather crap, move on, hunt animals, gather crap, move on, rinse and repeat.

I guess it'd be in a similar vein as Minecraft (though obviously not the same): "kill animals, gather crap, move on". You could have major events like creating tools, starting fires, primitive language - I guess in that respect, it'd be kinda like Spore as well, dinosaurs being the other tribes and Epic creatures.

May not be to everyone's taste, but neither are the majority of games.

Hm, maybe. But yesterday I got my own idea for a Stone Age game while listening to some tunes. This in game form:

The First Era...of Tamriel. Probably done best in RTS form, as you conquer the lands as Tiber Septim.

Also the Genpei war in Japan, Samurai Warrior style, perhaps as an arcade game (since it would be a smaller period with less characters). This way Kiyomori and Yoshitsune from Warriors Orochi can return. (Obviously I want Koei to make this)

Ancient Greece, but non-mythological please. Maybe a Total War game focusing on Greece? That would be awesome.

Already been done: Spartan and a fan-made patch for Medieval Total War (Hellenic Total War, obviously). I found it difficult to get into the first, since the battles don't give you that much control and I've (regrettably) never played the second.

Really want to play an RPG/Action RPG set in Ancient Greece.

And i mean real Ancient Greece, not 'God-of-War' ancient greece...

I second this, and already have a scenario in mind. An actioner set during the Sicilian Expedition during the Peloponnesian Wars, it has everything: land battles; sieges; naval battles; treachery; superstition etc. Plenty of material there.

The other thing that came to mind was being the Duke of Wellington's personal Rake (forgotten the guy's name) during the Peninsular War: intelligence gathering; and the occasional fight.

This is exactly what I thought you could either be part of his conquest or be in the cities under siege. Probably part of the conquest would be better.

I think there might be a mod for it, it has a lot of mods. It basically has the mongols in it, and it is a fantastic game. Think Pirates! but with large scale battles and horse combat. Be sure to look it up, it's on Steam. Don't let the slightly poor production values turn you off.
