First screens, looking awesome.

In the bottom and middle...why does the second to last screen say "Free Pray" where the others say "Free Play"?
I'm trying so hard not to bring up the fact that the japanese can't prounounce Ls.
Yeah, that's what I had in mind. I was wondering if they were kind of having fun with that.

my one concern is that the fighting game ISN'T going to be on the Vita. I'd rather have a fighting game on a portable so I can play on the go.
These deep fighting games are best played on a console though, you can't really play em that well on a portable, the portable Blazblue games show this.

Plus, the portable's online will be laggy compared to a console version since you can't connect an ethernet chord to a portable and wifi is always laggier than wired, so that's a positive too.
oh no, quite the contrary, Blazblue is very easy to play on the PSP and I have lots of fun with it. In my special case, I don't care for online play, since I'm but a casual player, so I can get by with single-player just fine (unless there's no extra single player content for me to unlock)
I was talking about high level play there. Sure, if you just play for a bit just to mess around casually then yeah but these games are best enjoyed when played at a high level and my post was aimed towards that.

ahhh okays. Well if we're talking high level play, then you can at least practice your combos on the go!

A fighting game...featuring the cast of Persona 3 and Persona 4....by Atlus...?

Excuse me, I have to go change my pants. I just nerded all over the place.

I can't stop loving Atlus.

This definitely pushes the Vita as my new portable gaming system. :D
