I already have a superpower I call "Empathy", so I guess if things were to go the extreme, maybe control people's emotions? Or maybe read minds?

Although I would like to have Telekinesis.

EDIT: Or, since I have very vivid imagination and what some would call a "loose" grip on reality - I might be able to create alternate realities or maybe pull people into fictional realities. Like videogames.

Personality based superpowers would just be a recipe for villainy... And also pretending you're super hot an sexually active on the internet? I would get super great at buying cheap DVDs, and going to bed early. My weakness would be CAPTCHA'S, and my catchphrase: "-The hell does that say?"

Good thing I don't have that power or I think most of the escapist forums would be wiped out by now.

Either that or I'd have kind of a Hulk thing(Ha! A Hulk-Thing). I'm kind of bipolar(figuratively) in that I can go from being competely calm and passive to raging demon with very little provocation. So I'd probaby have super-strength directly linked to my aggression.

OT: Since I'm quite shy with lowish self-esteem, I would most likely have invisibility.
I don't like seeing others hurt (mentally or physically) so maybe empath and healer.
I like to role-play alot and make up different characters so shape-shifting is probably there.
And my incredible laziness means I would probably have telekinesis so I'd never have to get up.
Also my love of animals probably means I'd be able to communicate with them.
Man that's alot of epic powers.

I asked some friends and they all agreed that I would be something like Toad, that guy from X-men...

I guess they think the only way I could be creepier was I could crawl across the ceiling. That or they were really impressed when I showed them that I can lick my own elbow.

I'm fairly snide and deadpan, but I'm also pretty creative. I'm guessing some energy-manipulation somewhat like green lantern. Only the green lantern's outfit is stupid, so I'd wear something more casual.

Well, in truth, I dont typically go looking for fights, I try to avoid trouble and seek compromises (though also I try to seek a compromise in my favor.)Im also pretty organize for the most part, planning how things will go down, whether its an outline for a school report, planning travel for the least amount of time and money wasted, or a strategy for dealing with a level in a videogame.

So I would have some kind of stealth power, charm/persuade or mind control, and/or the ability to foresee how a particular action or choice will affect the overall outcome of a particular event. Hell, most of these are basically psychic powers (the stealth could be simply me mentally telling another persons mind im not there.)

I'd be "clutzso" or "the breaker" or "accident boy" or some such. My powers would involve unintentionally causing things to fall apart or fail. In my real life, it's kind of a funny curse - "Heh, ran into counter again." As a super power, it'd probably make me the most dangerous person on the planet - "Tried to use the elevator, and the building collapsed."

You actually sound very similar to me- i would regard my main (positive) personality traits to be empathy and imagination, so i think i'll steal your ideas here

That and also invisibility, people tend not to notice me.
