I'm an introvert by default, so I have a love/hate relationship with extroverts. Some I can stand because they don't get uppity about stupid shit, while others take it too far and seem to think that everything about them is interesting or scary. Hell, I was out swimming with a friend of mine a couple days ago and this really annoying girl thought she was the shit and was really scary when in reality she was the blandest, most boring person ever. And trust me, you don't know scary unless you've been through a car wreck or something equally as scary. So yeah, bland boring *****, please shut up already. I can detect your twattiness from a quarter mile away. No need to blare in my ears about it.

Well I did one of those personality tests once and it said I was an INFP.

So I guess I wouldn't get along with people that had a combination of opposing traits.
I don't like people that are cold, or arrogant, or pushy/impatient.

My older brother is my polar opposite and we clash all the time.

Me, I'm rather laid back, I don't like to get angry, but my older brother is quick to anger and is pretty aggressive and intimidating. A bit of a mean-spirited bully actually.
The worse part is that he's completely unapologetic about it, about anything he does really... ¬_¬

I hate people that don't try to figure out a problem for themselves properly.
My older brother for instance will play a game, get stuck, then immediately demand I drop everything and help him. WTF? No, figure it out on your own, I did. >:/

Again, I hate being rushed or pushed to make a decision. I like to plan things out and take my time, to ensure I do it right.
In a cooking scenario, for instance, I like to do things slowly and try to be as clean as possible.

My counterpart however, likes to rush and boss people about and take over stuff, and not clean up or take care of anything.

(And I HATE people that don't respect other people and their stuff. One time at uni someone raided the freezer and ate MY chips. WTF? Did I give permission for you to eat them? Quite clearly they were in a bag that was not yours, what gives you the right to my property? I don't go around using other people's utensils, or eating other people's food, I expect some mutual respect here you bloody git. I don't go poking my nose into your business, so you leave me and my stuff clear alone, (asking me might help? ever think of that. Man, I really hate people sometimes... >:X))

EDIT: (You see with me, I don't have loads of friends, I don't trust easy, but the people I'm close to know that I'll do almost anything for them. If I don't know you, then yeah, I probably would say no if you asked to "borrow" anything of me, but if someone I knew, a friend asked, then yeah, I would let them no doubt. Its no big deal even if they didn't return the favour, because I know I can rely on that person in the future. Can a lot of people truly say that about their friends?)

People that do 'hilarious' shit to the point that it's annoying, rustle my jimmies.
Does that 'hilarious' shit tend to be thrown in your face along side a 'WOOOO! LOOK AT HOW FUNNY AND QUIRKY I'M BEING!' or something similar?

I also hate people that do something similar to that by just saying straight out offensive and insensitive things to a massive crowd thinking they're being hilarious and edgy, when really everybody else just finds it awkward and realizes they're a massive tool.

People who are unnecessarily aggressive. It's like constantly baby-sitting a child who's prone to tantrums. (This doesn't apply to people with mental conditions that cause uncontrollable anger, I'm referring to the type of people who choose to solve the majority of their problems with physical violence or intimidation.)

For some reason your relationship with your brother and me and my brother's relationship are almost identical. Damn that is cool.

I hate immature people. I heard your fart joke already less then two minutes ago, now do you want to carry this friendship only on jokes or do you actually want to build a worth-while connection?

I hate cynical people. "Man the world is terrible because of X, Y and Z thus me being a dick to everyone I meet is totally OK." 'Well it doesn't stop you from being a dick.'

I have a certain tolerance for everyone, I mean I had a super immature friend for five years who, me and him's last two years were him avoiding any real conversation and jumping to jokes.

Overall, I don't hate anyone on a sight-basis, however I do hate it once I find that they are one of the above types just for attention or other shit reasons.

People who are melodramatic and always want people to comfort them and tell them they're great. I guess attention-whores.
"Like my status if you wish cancer never existed!!!" posts on Facebook kinda fall under this category and piss the hell outta me.

Also, snobbish people. You're lucky to have more; don't be an ass about your good fortune. Captcha: Easy street.

People who are predisposed to get offended... about anything.
It doesn't even matter what it is, maybe cussing, but if they *choose* to get bent over anything so trivial that it's personally mindblowing - they are going to get 110% of it from me.

Consider it a life lesson, I say. Nobody has to cater to you because you were browbeat while growing up or somehow consider yourself exemplary.

Me, on the other hand, it's impossible to hurt my feelings, no matter how hard you try. So I tend to find it hilarious to run across people that do at the drop of a hat.

Pedants. It's just their way of screaming `Pay attention to me!`. It's just irritating and tests my patience.

Also, people who think they are SO edgy and need to warn you about it! `Watch out you don't get on my bad side! I don't snap normally BUT WHEN I DO...!`
Those people are dicks.

And people who think being funny is just saying stuff it normally isn't acceptable to say or just talking like a dickhead.
To those people, congratulations, you realised you have a mouth.

Anyone obsessed with the way others perceive them. From the classic fashion shills to the more recent Twitter twits, they all get on my nerves like you wouldn't believe.

I usually can get along with people if I have to. I've put up with enough stupid people in my life that I had to learn to deal with them and just shut them out. What I dislike though is people who think they know everything. Usually I just let them talk since I figure it makes them feel good to show off or whatever, but it takes a lot of energy to not correct them when they make a mistake.

90% of what I say is an attempt at humour, so I find it nearly impossible to communicate with those types :D
This will probably get me lynched by the rest of the site, but, the key word there is attempt. I kid of course :)

I tend to get along well with most type, but two type tend to piss me off:

The excessively smartass-types. Yeah, it's funny sometimes, but god it's annoying. Some of my friends think it's cute to be smartass about EVERYTHING. It's like you can't have a serious discussion about anything with them, it's all jokes and "oh, everything sucks".

The ego-centric type. A couple of my friends think they're just the greatest thing ever made, and treat everyone else like they're dumb and out to get them, as well as being extremely passive aggressive. I don't know whether they're just secretly depressed and just outwardly projecting this ego (I know that's the case with one of them), but it's so annoying I can hardly stand it.

People who resort to dramatic means to "solve" their problems instead of just being direct about it.

For example, people at my work act like they are in high school still. What with the drama and the who's-sleeping-with-who nonsense. It's really frustrating because work is stressful enough as it is, why add to it with your pettyness? if you have a problem with someone, don't be passive aggressive about it (I swear to god, someone left a note on a container that needs to be cleaned daily saying that she wasn't going to clean it and night shift better take care of it, like, seriously? just take the 5 minutes to clean the damn thing) just either A) Do your job and stop complaining or B) Talk to the manager about it if its that big of a deal!

That and hypocrites. Always been my biggest pet peeve, always will be.

I can't stand passive aggressives, I just hold up my hands in defeat and walk the fuck out. I honestly don't understand why anyone thinks being passive aggressive helps any situation.

I don't know the proper term for this, but people who think everyone should be like them and act surprised when it isn't the case. For example I've had someone say, you're using ketchup on a steak, do you not have a refined palate. No I'm sorry that I was raised in a low class family and my taste buds weren't indulged by the tastiest food that money can buy, I bought a $10 steak at my local food store and I'm going to enjoy it how I want. Or in the same case with clothes, omg how are you wearing that $20 sweater, if I wore anything like that my skin would chafe, you really should buy something like me it was only a hundred dollars.

Overly patriotic people. Congratulations, you were born within the boundaries of a certain patch of dirt, do you want a medal? By all means be proud of your heritage and culture, but as soon as you start the 'my country is better than yours' talk, we're going to have problems.

Overly religious people. I'm all for people believing whatever they want. If it helps you deal with the fact that you're a pile of flesh on the side of a rock floating through a cosmic void, go for it. Just don't rub it in my face.

Big-headed people and people who think that if they're random, they're funny.
They're not. It's not funny, it's not cute, you're not going to blow my ming with how "quirky" you are, you're just going to annoy me.

I generally try to get along with everyone I meet, but really peppy dudes and dudettes bother me a bit. Not to the point that I'm like "gross go away ", but I'll try not to be around them that much.

Also, I'll agree with those who said people that are too tense/have no sense of humor. Especially people that can't take a joke. I try to make a joke about James Holmes's orange-haired court picture looking like Beaker from the Muppets and people look at me like I'm sociopathic. It hurts, man. :(

people who say that they're outspoken and opinionated, and if you have a problem with that, then screw you.
Because they almost never are "opinionated", they just think it's an opportunity for being annoying.

hey assholes; there's such a thing as being polite.

I can't stand people who like group projects. Why? Because people who like group projects are almost always the people who also don't do anything in group projects, can't do anything for themselves, and end up taking more credit than they deserve.
