I'm all for the ethical treatment of animals but wouldn't it be better to fix what's really wrong before helping them? If someone is abusing their pet I'll get them thrown in jail for being a twisted person but PETA thinks it's wrong to keep cattle in a fenced in field because they can't roam free. Call me a speciesist(like a racist but with species) if you want to but the needs of humans come before the needs of animals.

Ah, PETA. Like the RSPCA, only comprised of vandals, sociopaths, fools, busy-bodys and celebrities on bad acid. An organization of vegetarians and vegans who manage to transcend your average meat-eater in terms of violence and destruction. They want to save the environment, but I doubt they know what they're doing or what to do next.

People from PETA threatened my mother once. She worked for a company that did medical testing on pigs. I do not like PETA. Not at all. No siree. Also their connections with Coronado and the ALF are disturbing.

So. PETA. People for Ethical Treatment of Animals.
Watch "Penn & Teller's Bullshit" on these guys.

Like a LOT of Environmental Pressure Groups, these guys make Al-Queda look held back.

I've really lost faith in most of these guys due to their actions.

As for milk, it's very good for you IF you're a growing child...as you grow up, there's less need to take it, but it still gives you a great deal of calcium, which for elderly people is much needed.
Done. That was hilarious and awesome.

PETA euthanize almost two-thirds of the animals they liberate.
Likely because they're either too far gone to save, or they simply cannot find homes for them.

It is my firm conviction that animals hold rights, perhaps dissimilar to those of humans, but in particular that they be free from needless harm.

That said, PETA takes things too far and in doing so, lose credibility while simultaneously removing it from individuals such as myself.

I eat meat, I will continue to do so - it is how we are intended to function. That does not mean we need to slowly bleed an animal from a cut on the neck before we eat it - it means we kill the animal as quickly and painlessly as possible.

They oppose use of service dogs! No seeing-eye dogs, no hearing-aid dogs (yes, they exist), no therapy dogs, no police dogs, and no rescue dogs! Damn... that Penn and Teller thing was enlightening.

It's funny how I've never heard anything good about PETA, which says something since their cause is good, but who the hell takes an animal rights group and makes it a lieing, despises extremist group? All I hear are stories like this and I hate them for it.

they're just shameless angry little nerds that never got any in high school, so they turned to animals. But seriously, enough bashing.... pfftt. what I don't get is how can they call themselves an organization that is trying to make things better when they almost try to make things worse, not better. I mean really, they're like a couple visits to a hardware store away from becoming one of these domestic terrorist groups that bomb slaughterhouses. This kinda hate-mongering is disgusting, particularly when they started using that bus killing in manitoba as an example for eating meat.

His bones have developed massive calcium deposits and gotten wider. So you hit them.

Technically, if his bones are wide enough to block a knife, then he couldn't move. He would have too much bone to have functional joints.

Animal liberation people are so stone-cold fuck nuts it's not even funny. We has pointy teefs fo a reason folks, and it's not for easy brushing.

An aversion to eating meat could be summed up as nothing more than a neurological disorder regarding over-sympathizing.

We as a species only evolved because we could avoid being eaten and eat other species efficiently. We also have the advantage of also being able to ingest vegetables, a luxury some animals don't have, but it's more auxillery than primary.

PETA is the kind of organization that is so hypocritical and full of shit that I'm surprised the governments of the world haven't shut them down for terrorist actions.

Personally, I have no problem with killing an animal. There are very many good reasons to kill animals, for their good or ours, and groups like PETA preach about the natural way for things, blinded to the fact that we ARE doing things the natural way.

Human kind is an omnivorous race, it is our nature to eat both flesh and plant. The fact that we raise cattle, pigs, chickens and other creatures simply for slaughter isn't unnatural, it's progress. We need to eat. Like any other creature, we are limited by our food supply, and could not be as plentiful on earth if we didn't think ahead. If foxes could catch enough rabbits beyond their immediate feeding needs, pen them up and breed them so they have a never-ending food supply, they would do it. Any animal would.

We don't torture the creatures we harvest, we don't eat them alive or surgically remove parts and then let the rest of the animal die. We kill them humanely and then make use of them as we see fit. If that's too cruel for PETA-Tards to handle, they should kill themselves because nothing they do will change this, and the more humans around, the more livestock we need. So if PETA members all cult-suicided it may save a dozen cows one year. Beyond that, lock the fuckers up because they're batshit insane.
Want to start an animal shelter together? PETA hates them. They would show up, protest, probably do something violent, giving us permission to *ahem* retaliate defensively.

*Shifty eyes*

My stupidity aside, fighting against PETA members is not a good idea. They come in packs and are fanatical. Build your shelter next to a meat processing factory. PETA members won't be able to decide which building they should be protesting in front of.
