It's like having your cake and eating it to!

THAT MAKES NO SENSE! Of course I'll eat the cake if I have it.

Anyone who uses internet speak in real life.

I remember last year when I was cleaning out my locker, the hall was almost empty. Then this group of four girls and two guys come walking down the hall. I start to hear them but continue with my business. The girls are all giggling and are talking about god knows what. The guys looked completely uninterested and bored. That's when I hear one of them shout 'THAT'S SO FUNNY! LOL!'. I stood there for a second wondering if I heard correctly and the other shouts 'I KNOW! LMAO!'. They passed me and I dropped the book I was holding. A little bit more of my faith in humanity died that day.

EWWWWWWWWWWWW.

'The cake is a lie' or any other overquoted line from the Orange Box. ESPECIALLY when you see them scrawled across the bathroom walls. Or 'Why so serious'. That's been overdone to the enth degree.

This.

I cannot fucking stand that whole "gangsta" sub-culture, It's just annoying and makes you look a fool. I'd give whiney Emo kids the time of day before them, anytime.
Agreed. It's even worse when middle class, suburban, white kids start saying this shit. I mean honestly! I would think that the parents would be utterly disappointed in their behavior. It's pathetic really. Espcially since my friends who are black don't even act anywhere close to it!

My school had 'No Zombie is Safe From Chicago Ted' written on the bathroom stall. I laughed first time I saw it because I wasn't even the one who put it there!

Internet culture language = words that any human being with half a mind would not be caught saying out loud.

It's starting to bug me that people 'love' anything and everything

e.g. "Oh my god, i love that/them/whatever!" no matter what the thing they are referring to might be. What happened to just liking something?

It more annoys me then bothers me. Besides, the silly way they wear their bright, coloured hats gives me an easy indication of where to shoot, and the way they wear their pants makes it so they can't get away...

I know, really?
Hehe...

"The Cake is a lie" gets my vote. For the last time, IT ISN'T.
My evidence?

The cake is, infact, 100% true. The concept of receiving the cake is the real lie.

I'm sick of people saying "Fail" and other terms like that. Like, now any time anything happens, you'll hear "Epic failure!" which is a phrase that's not even done right, for one, but got old fast. In fact, any phrase is stupid. People need to come up with original things to say.

I personally hate this phrase.

Or its permutations.

Like, 'This has made me lose my faith in humanity,' 'This will make me lose my last vestiges of hope in humanity'

Just rubs me the wrong way, not to mention it's said far too often to have any oomph anymore.

i really really hate people saying "/thread". it gets on my nerves so badly.

also, words with numbers in them for no good reason. i dislike those as well.

in real life, i'm more or less ok with anything except stupid repetition. but this does bring to mind a funny story from an english lesson.

we were due to hand in some coursework, and a girl who hadn't done it was asking for some extra time. so the teacher challenged her to ask for extra time without using the word "like", which she used like a comma. it was freaking hilarious to watch her try it. i think she got it on the 3rd attempt though, and the teacher as a result gave everyone an extra day on the coursework (he hated the word like, and i think he was training her not to use it).

edit: on reflection, that's not as funny as i thought.

This. /thread (not really)

I've noticed that a lot of the time people say /thread, there's about three more pages of thread after that post. >_>

The use of "epic" "fail" and "win" or any combination of such words being used seriously in real life should be punishable by death.
