How about, with digital, you don't own anything? If that online store shuts down, your saves and games go with it.

Anyway, games cases do take up room but I own 500 dvds and they take up a noticeable chunk room, so unless you have that amount of games, it's not an issue. I live in a flat/apartment that is match box sized (most certainly a 1 person deal. A double bed would fill my bed room with a 6 inch gap at the bottom) and I can handle that amount of dvds.

If 100 games or so is just too much to store, you need to declutter!

Physical, I like the feeling in control of my games and looking at my collection(unfortunately there isn't much to look at with modern game packaging...).
GOG is the only digital service that I use and only for stuff I can't find a physical copy of.

Of course, with newer games there's often steam and others budging in and demanding to be installed so that I can actually play the game I paid money for. Fortunately, the games usually still install from the disc and our friendly neigbourhood buccaneers provide solutions for that activation crap.

If it doesn't install from the disc, I say 'fuck you, I don't need to deal with your bullshit' and help myself at the bay.
