I believe they got around that the same day the story was published here actually.ravensshade said:which i believe the pirates fixed a bit later atleast it's probable that they did..Slash Dementia said:[small]Unless it's that Batman: Arkham Asylum where the player's cape stops working and they fall to their deaths.[/small]
Ah ha! The PS3 proves superior above all!gxs said:The same goes for XBOX users so don't blame PC's for pirating. More hype = More pirates. That goes for every game out there and we can't do anything about it.MGlBlaze said:it just shows the IW that PC gamers just aren't worth it.
I wonder, how do you know this?VanBasten said:Pirates are playing MW2 on steam alongside legitimate users that bought the game, thus proving yet again that "we screwed you over to stop the pirates" is always, always a big fat lie.
Oh, and they're using mods, too.
It's all over that thingy those young kids use called the interwebs.Woem said:I wonder, how do you know this?VanBasten said:Pirates are playing MW2 on steam alongside legitimate users that bought the game, thus proving yet again that "we screwed you over to stop the pirates" is always, always a big fat lie.

No I was just curious, thanks.VanBasten said:It's all over that thingy those young kids use called the interwebs.Woem said:I wonder, how do you know this?VanBasten said:Pirates are playing MW2 on steam alongside legitimate users that bought the game, thus proving yet again that "we screwed you over to stop the pirates" is always, always a big fat lie.

If you're trying to imply I'm pirating the game I'll have to disappoint you. My method of boycotting MW2 was preordering BF:BC2.
It may do that but what developers need to put through their heads is that you should NEVER remove features that just screw over your paying customers to try to get rid of pirates.... You can NEVER get rid of pirates, you just inconvenience them.MGlBlaze said:Of course, them pirating the game is doing even more damage since it just shows the IW that PC gamers just aren't worth it. If these people are meant to be boycotting the game; they're not because they're playing it, pirated or not. Not to mention, it sends a message that they still end up playing the game anyway, so there's no reason to listen to their complaints.
I therefore conclude that people who 'boycott' a game by pirating it are pillocks.
Really, you honestly think its bad that those free-loading, self-gratifying, criminal-scum miss out on great games that DESERVE to be bought and enjoyed by anyone with at least half a brain cell?Clashero said:True! I mean, Dreamfall sold exceedingly well for a game with no advertising, and hardly anyone pirated it. However, pirates tend to gravitate towards flashy, overhyped shooters liek Crysis or MW2. It's a shame, they play those bland, uninspired messes and miss out on the greatest gems.UtopiaV1 said:MW2 sucks, pirates suck, now if you'll excuse me I'll go back to playing Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising, which i don't think ANYBODY cared about enough to pirate it (I'm a huge fan of the original)...
Hey, that's a great new way to stop piracy! Fire your marketing dept, stop giving your game so much hype, no-one will even know its released, then no-one will pirate!
