It's not our responsibility to stop or report piracy. Piracy exists because of the actions of the developers and publishers. Piracy is competition for them and it should encourage them to make a product worth buying or offer some incentive to buy rather than pirate.
Sadly, most publishers, and gamers, don't grasp what is ultimately a simple solution to a simple problem: make a product that is worth the price. Instead, they produce poorly made shovelware and slap on draconian DRM that punishes the legitimate buyer and proves that piracy usually is the better option.
They also grossly exaggerate how much they are actually "Losing" to piracy since that is a theoretical number under the assumption every person who pirated would have bought the game new which is not the case. They just blame piracy for poor sales without considering that maybe the game just wasn't worth buying in the first place.
