Well... there is this one guy in my town who claims that Elvis (yes, that Elvis) was his father. he even has "PRESLEY" on his mailbox. There is also this old guy who used to eat horse on a regular basis. I wish I was kidding.

The recreation center, or the rec center as we call it. It's actually the nicest in the state, which isn't saying that much considering it's Wyoming, but still it's nice. The next nicest thing we have is a Walmart Supercenter

Memphis seems like it has a lot going for it?
If you really want to risk it, maybe.

Otherwise, stear clear.

It is one of the most dangerous cities in america, right up there with St. Louis.

Although...there is this one place called dyers that serves burgers cooked in 100 year old grease...yeah...its worth the risk.

Trust me, I'm getting away from here as soon as I graduate (I am picking a college that is at LEAST) 300 miles away.

I'm from Chicago, IL. I have my own reasons to never wish to return there willingly. Yes, there are tall buildings. Yes, there are good restaurants. Yes, there are good bars/nightlife. But...

Personally, I recommend you go down to Lake Michigan, and watch the locks on the Chicago River opening and closing. These actions cause the river to flow away from the lake, instead of into it. This sends more than one billion gallons of water 'down-river' per day. Every day. It is quite marvelous, and very under-appreciated.

Bonus: do this on St Patrick's Day. Workmen dye the river green.

You Erie folk can just go back to Cedar Point.

The one amusement park that was in three hours drive of my house they shut down a few years ago.

And the best ride (the zippin pippin, Elvis's favorite ride) is just sitting there, taunting me, like an orphan child with his nose pressed against the glass of a toy shop.

Well, I'm sure there's lots of interesting places to go in and around Vancouver, but when I saw the thread title all I could think about was the VAG. Ah yes, the VAG! Sometimes Leonardo Di Vinci is in the VAG. I've been in the VAG a few times myself. Y'know, during Halloween, green light streams out of the VAG.

Love that Vancouver Art Gallery.

The mountain, of course. I hike Pikes Peak a couple times every summer and I think everyone else should share in it's awesome. :)

Well I'm from the Chicago area, so anything I suggest will be food related. But pretty good food I must say.

But the driving here really sucks so I hope you have a chauffeur or something.

Oh and don't come in the winter. Completely MISERABLE in the winter.

Yes, forgot to mention the St Patty's Day thing. I swear, when I was a kid and I first learned that people actually REVERSED the flow of the river, my mind was blown...

I might not be helping my case but Erie has an amusment park of its own called Waldameer [http://www.waldameer.com/] but it's a small amusment park and the rides aren't that amazing and once you go to Cedar Point all the rides at Waldameer suck but it's there.

If you ever find yourself in orange county NY then I guess the place I would suggest the alp's chocolate place. They make the chocolate on site and I promise it will be the best you ever tasted or I will give you my right kidney.

Austin, Texas is a pretty damn nice place to visit... although, I'm actually not that familiar with its attractions, as I was a bit of a shut-in when I lived here full-time. However, I do know some stuff.

If you're here during the summer, you gotta drop by Town Lake under the Congress Street Bridge around dusk. It's all boring and quiet, then suddenly...

Bats. Over a million of them.
For extra fun, show up in a Batman costume.

And of course, there's downtown, where all the restaurants, bars, and live music venues are. That last one is kind of our "thing"; Austin is the self-proclaimed "Live Music Capital of the World". I don't know about all that, but I'll admit that live performers aren't hard to find.

Also, you have to eat at Chuy's. And Torchy's "Damn Good" Tacos. And Snow Beach. And... You know what? Just Google Austin restaurants. You'll come up with tons of stuff.

anyone planning to come to Worcester Massachusetts should probably just go stick their hand wrist deep in a blender. That would probably be more enjoyable
