So I'm sitting down to eat some toast this morning when I think to myself of this bakery that use to make the BEST bread (for toast) ever because the toast was just so delicious and it's one of those very rare toasts that you don't even need milk with but sadly the Bakery was bought out and shut down.

So the question is was there ever a store or place (theater, arcade, whatever) that you absolutely loved but is now gone?

Restaurant named Eagans that was about a block away from my house. Great food. Gone now. Replaced by a CVS.

Also, a place in Cape Hatteras, NC called the Hatterasman. Under new ownership, but only because the previous owner died of bone cancer. :(

There was a fast-food chain near me called Roy Roger's. It's basically a Hardee's but still: Roy Roger's is still around but the one that was near me is now a McDonald's. I hate McDonald's e.e

There was this place called "Mio Pizza" I think. It was in a town called Mio in northern Michigan. That place had some awesome pizza, sadly the place burned down. There might be another one in its place now, but I haven't been to Mio in a wile so I'm not 100% sure.

The Bay - a great club in my university town: never again will I fall outside of you bruised, and covered in alcohol, but thoroughly happy at 5am :(

Bonus - replace "The Bay" with 'Your Mother' and re-read for added joy!

Miracle Strip in Panama City, FL, was amazing until they closed it down a few years back. I used to love going there with my friends to hang out. It just had such a great atmosphere to it... and now its gone :(

Zany Brainy That place was AWESOME you get all the random stuff for birthdays or kid parties. It's not a party store, kinda like a toy store, but also a bit diffrent. It's hard to explain

There used to be an awesome mexican restaurant near where i lived, but it came under new ownership and turned utterly shit. It kept the same name too, but it just wasn't the same place anymore.

Sorry about that. I get excited about toast.
We had an arcade that doubled as an internet cafe that TRIPLED as a hang out spot. Glorious. Some idiot smokes pot (Which often happened, but this idiot did it in front of a cop) and now the place is closed down.

BIG FRANCHISES ALL THE WAY!
All the burger kings in my area closed, didn't eat there much but still, big franchise that is no longer where it used to be. No idea what replaced the burger kings.

Yeah. There was this old derelict abbattoir on Waterden road in Hackney that used to have squat parties virtually every weekend for a period in the late 90's/early 2000's. I can't remember when exactly, it was all a bit of a blur. The place was a rotting hole but you could always be sure of a rave. Anyways, it got demolished to make way for the London Olympics developments. Bastards.

There was a KB Toys that was in our mall for as long as I could remember and it was replaced by a kid's clothing store. Really breaks my heart. I bought some really great childhood computer games and action figures there. Also, our FYE is gone. Replaced by a mediocre makeup store. Le sigh.

A yogurt store called TCBY (The Country's Best Yogurt) down the street from my place. That's where I would take all my dates in high school. It shut down just last week.

There used to be this massive tree where me and my friends used to all go under age drinking... I mean it was HUGE, a place in it's self... Now's its gone... and our innocent days with it.
