I roll female toons because I'd rather look at a girl when I play than a guy.

Exceptions go to races with ugly woman, although the first female toon I ever rolled was a Troll in Everquest, and I only rolled her because it was INCREDIBLY rare to see a female troll. I had the highest on the server by level 40, also Troll boobs in blue crafted armor was pretty funny (yay Warrior!)

The reasons to roll female undead, blood elf, human, or night elf are fairly obvious.

Of course I've made a girl character! Then again, I am a girl in reality too, so nothing weird about it. I do make male characters on WoW and run around and facerape people though, when Im bored.

I tend towards the fair sex when creating characters in RPs. The whole attractiveness thing is part of it, as is changing the experience, but a large part of it is simple. I just find something special about badass chicks.

Of course, if I ever play WoW again, my sister and brother-in-law have basically forbidden me to group with them, unless I make a male character. Because as we all know, wanting something nice to look at is just a flimsy excuse, and any true man would play as one.

What is with it, Like ive never made a girl character for anything (WoW, Fallout, Guitar Hero, City of Heroes, Champions Online etc.)
I dont see what the point is, Like fair enough you want to roleplay as a girl but i hate when they pretend to be girls.

Scenario #1.

*Girl wearing a bikini walks up to uber high level guy*
Girl (guy): Hey can i hav som money pls im poor :)
Guy: Holy shit are you a real girl. Like in real life
Girl guy): yeh
*The uber high level hands over every last penny he has*
Girl (guy) thnkx :)
*Uber high level adds the Girl [guy] to his friends list)

Tell me have you ever made a girl character, NOT to bludge money just to play as.
If yes, Why?
I always have a girl and and a guy character. At first because I thought it would be different but now they are making games that if you play as a girl the whole story changes... like dragon age... changes your whole view. Usually my girl character is really badass.

I played as a female night elf named Arineth for a while. I was a guy, but I thought it was just more fitting to be female as a night elf, seeing as they were so much more elegant. I did some questing with another night elf named Taragh, a druid. Man those were good times...

But it's behind me now. WoW did drain me socially and economically.

I've played girl characters in MMO's and RPG's ever since the I played the first fallout, every male char I created died in the cave at the start, my first female char got half way through the game. I think my male paladin in WoW was the only exception and I have a male alt in Eve...

Also female char's tend to have better looking gear.

Haha, some humour is necessary :p Anyways, I do roll male toons and run around and act like a monkey though. I find it amusing. ^^

It really depends on what the character models look like in the game. Usually, I've been a male character (being a female in reality) since they used to look more appealing graphically.
In a few games, I have chosen females over males simply because the males looked too stupid and bulky.

Single Player RPG? Fine. I personally prefer it as the girls tend to have less lines therefore they shut their mouths more often and let me grind!

MMO's? The amount of desperate nerds you will get hitting on you is astounding.

I normally make male characters. Sometimes I'll have a wild hair and make a female character. It's not for any particular reason. I don't really play MMOs, so it's not like I use them to mooch. When I played MapleStory for a few months, I was thinking of creating a female character because they were much better designed with the clothes and hair, but then I just stopped playing the game altogether.

I only make a girl charater in fallout because for some reason the game just doen't feel right and I get bord of it faster, other than that I don't make them no any other game inculding oblivion which kinda similary but when a make a girl char on that the game doesn't feel right.

I've done it a couple times, just for the sake of variety. But on my first playthrough of any game, my character is always male.
