The fact that i don't handle horror and scary things well might explain why i just wet myself, but OH MY GOD!!!

I just saw a shadow go across the wall and i squealed like a girl.

How did you feel when you first played it?

Yeah I can't handle that sort of thing too.

I remember playing the demo, and not actually getting to any enemies, cause the atmosphere and tension killed me :D

Then the full game turned out to be sub-par...

I ignored it all, because I spent my first play-through largely not noticing these things.

But the second and third times I got really freaked out. >_<

When I first played it I was bored because the story didn't interest me and the gameplay seemed rather dull. I never gave it another chance.

Did you actually wet yourself? If so you should get off the escapist and clean up man... seriously.

Haven't played it but intend to borrow it off a friend in the near future. It er... looked good when I played the demo like 2 years ago.

I didn't actually find it "scary", but was rather creeped out by the condition of the place. I loved the game though, and will be better than the second in my opinion in almost every way, except for maybe the hacking, which took agonisingly long in BioShock 1.

Then again, nothing has scared me since Skull Kingdom, and I was about 11. Seriously, I cried I was that terrified. Anyone who lives on International Drive, Florida should know what I'm talking about...

I was pretty intimidated for the first hour or so and got used to it, then it lured me into a false sense of security.......Mr Cohen

all my friends talked about how scary it was at some parts... so i was pretty dissapointed when really nothing in the whole game was scary for me at all :p

It will stop being scary soon. At least that happened to me.

I wish this was more of a survival horror game. It would've been much more atmospheric for me.

It's scary during the firefights, but once I upgraded the shotgun, everything was fine.

I didn't have a problem with the horror aspect because my TV is horrible so I have to turn the brightness all the way up.

Although accidentally angering a Big Daddy for the first time and then getting completely demolished is very scary.

And I heard they took hacking out of Bioshock 2, which makes me sad, 'cause I was really good at that.

Shock em than wack em

once you figure out that that combo is waaaaay over powered (especially with the various tonic upgrades) you won't have to be afraid of anything ever again, and for everything else there is the shotgun.

I wasn't quite scared as much as somewhat amazed.
Although the first time a Bouncer got mad at me, that did unnerve me.

I felt like a powerhouse swinging around that wrench.

Yeah, "powerful" and "horror" don't really mesh too well for me - particularly the reason I didn't find Condemned 2 to be scary.

But it's only scary until Medical Pavilion, then you're a god with those weapons.

It has a great creepy atmosphere, but I wouldn't call it scary, 'Sinister' is a better word. The audio-diaries are surprisingly good tools to these ends...

I had a few startles, and there were some freaky parts, especially Fort Frolic. That rabbit poem and those plaster splicers, that was pretty scary.

Other than that, nah not really. Then again, Dead Space didn't scare me even a wee tiny bit either, so I might be pretty resistant to those things.

The first time you meet a Houdini Splicer is pretty hairy as well, and as I said above, Fort Frolic is a madhouse.

I grabbed a shotgun, charged in, and blasted everything to death.
Then I died. Being more careful makes the game scarier as damn near everything in that game can kill you.

I remember going into a room full of ice, i go to look in a corner, the whole room fills up with air and i turn around and a surgeon is standing behind me. "OH SHIT!"
