What are the biggesr plot holes you have encountered in any kind of entertainment medium? I would say one of the most confusing is the fact that Leia knew her mother and described her in return of the Jedi, despite the fact that Padme died at the end of Revenge of the Sith.

In Iron Man, when the captive video was released to the media. Wouldn't it have been translated almost immediately and Stane taken into custody?

The video was never released publicly. It was meant specifically for Obadiah.

In the Prince of Theives, after Robin makes his speech we see a montage of the villagers make weapons out of whats around them. How can they make the points of their arrows by just melting a pot of metal? The only metal that even melts at the same temperature as a flame is Iridium and I doubt Nottingham would have even of it or that it would even be very useful as a weapon.

The Dark Knight, how the Joker just seems to vanish after Batman captures him. We hear nothing of him after he gets captured, and yes I understand this could be due to his death but it still bugs me.

Nope, the film was long finished before he died.

Just a massive plot hole that is all!

I think the plot hole was left there purposefully. Most of the time they do crap like that they're leaving it open for the next movie to finish it off.

All of Fallout 3, given decent-knowledge of other two games or a short-trip to the Vault Wiki. Power of the Atom stands out a lot.

Tenpenny wants to set off the bomb because he considers Megaton a blight in the landscape. A blight in the middle of the motherfucking wasteland filled with skeletons, ruins and raiders. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM!?
Simms asks you to disarm the bomb the moment you enter the city and Burke asks you to set it off first time you enter the bar. While I can understand Burke's actions, why the fuck would Simms ask a complete stranger to fuck around with something that can potentially lay waste to half of the wasteland?
Finally, given that the quest requires a whooping 35 Demolitons skill something a base character can reach by eating Mentats, how come on one else bothers to disarm the bomb? I'm pretty sure Jericho and Moriarty could easily do it, if Moira refuses after further persuading.

Also there's Harry Potter. No only does a giant evil wizard takeover all of UK and no one notices, apparently three underage wizards can hide and outrun the entire Ministry of Magic and the said evil wizard for a couple of months despite the fact only one of them has ever shown any decent magical ability and even said person couldn't sustain such disguise for more than a couple of days. Then there's the case of guns which not only would work in Harry Potter universe but would also be pretty damn efficient at killing wizards seeing how the latter wouldn't be able to execute a deflective spell before the bullet reached their brains.

Transformers, when Bumblebee takes the shot that blows his legs off. he's still holding the motherf#$kin' All Spark. Apparently this thing able to fix any Transformer that it comes in contact with (Frenzy was able to restore his body just by standing in front of it). So how come it didn't work its magic on Bumblebee?!

I would say most of these:

there not plot holes per see
They're a mix of different flaws, but some fit nicely in the plot hole category. Especially the LOTRs posts.

She isn't remembering her real mother, she's remembering Bail's wife.
