I disagreed with him once....it was a moment of weakness!
But seriously, I don't agree with the guy 100% of the time, but the way he delivers his criticism is just so damn funny I can't help but laugh even as he bashes my favorite game into dust!

Personally i think he's starting to run out steam...bile..whatever with his shows. They seem very lackluster and predictable now.

he claims he doesnt like QTEs yet he seemed to imply that DMC4s FMVs would be better with them :S

Although I occasionally think he comes down a bit too hard on a game (or even blatantly misrepresents things) the only times I have openly disagreed with him have been his assertions that "if you claim to enjoy EVE Online you are provably wrong" and that Madworld would have worked better if it hadn't been a Wii game. In the first case it was simply arrogance of the highest caliber to declare that hundreds of thousands of players subscribed to one of the most sucessful (if niche) MMORPGs of all time could not possibly be having fun and in the second it's obvious he didn't consider what the game actually WOULD have been like if it had been dumped on the PS3 or Xbox360 i.e a boring 3rd person button basher, albeit with awesome cartoony graphics and an over-the-top style (it's the visceral physicality of the controls that actually make the repetative slaughter bearable).
Well I love turn based combat especialy eternal sonata's that was fun. and for charachter design yeah I gotta agree except when its ment to make them look young (but I got a hell of a suprise in ff6 to find locke was 25 o.o) but for the most part I understand preferences I'm not a big FPS fan, I still play them just dont like most of them, and I just dont like how jrpg haters bash jrpg fansStarStruckStrumpets said:
Well like the AVGN, Yahtzee is trying to be entertaining so he'll rip into a game harder just for the sake of entertainment and he has even acknowledged that people prefer him not to like a game.

I Loved Butcher Bay, and hated Dark Athena.

Only 2 games he reviewed I have cared about and disagreed with:
Farcry 2 - is a terrible game in every single way, on the hardest difficulty some guns jam after 21 shots! And the story and quests are totally abysmal, along with the suitcase of F*$K all diamonds at the end... I had more in my back pocket!
Crysis - got palmed off as a game that was just pretty. Imo the openworld gameplay aspects in crysis are simply unsurpassed, though delta difficulty is a little easy. That said the linear gameplay for the second half sucks hard, and the sequel can just go die somewhere.
Other than that I think he's too nice to all the console rubbish that keeps getting churned out.
