for this I get 2 distinct options, drive, and have my retarded AI partner shoot at the weakest enemy who couldn't be any further from my vehicle if he were in fucking orbit, or shoot, and have my retarded AI partner drive in circles or come to a total standstill next to the mahoosive tank of death that I'm desperately trying to destroy with my piddly little chain gun.
Usually the level seems to be designed for you to drive through it really fast and not bother to kill all the stuff you go past. The ally on the gun gives you the sense that you're fighting when really you're just whooshing through. I can't think of a scene where you actually have to take on a big tank with a Warthog... if there is one I'd probably jump out and 'nade it. *shrug*

I disagree with most everything he says. I still watch every week, and thank the lord that I'm not someone who's easily influenced by another person's opinion.

I disagree with most of Yahtzee's ZP reviews but then again, we wouldn't want people mistaking them for actual valid opinions, Yahtzee gets payed to be pithy, sarcastic and above all massively critical, there's no critical in "I LIEK THIS GAEM COZ IT'S GUD"

Alternately, i find Yahtzee's written content much better thought out, universally relevant and funny.
But of course most o' you suckers probably just pop onto The Escapist once a week for your daily dose of mainstream VG-based comedy, and don't agree with reading at all

I disliked his review of Mass Effect but then I praised him on Saints Row 2... really, Yahtzee's just another person.

He has his opinions, I have mine.

When he said it was stupid to unclock characters in SSB I dissagree.
No I agree with him on this one, purely because it sucks to bring a game over to play at with friends, and you only have the few starting characters/maps/guns whatever it may be
Well, I don't care if you agree with him, you can't just say no to my oppinion.
Your "oppinion" as you put it, is just that, yours, so I can in fact so no to it, as it is not the "oppinion" that I share.
It's still a rather silly complaint to make about it though. I unlocked pretty much all characters in the Subspace Emissary in one evening.

The most recent Valkyria Chronicles I kinda disagreed with. I really quite enjoyed that game, and while what everything Yahtzee was saying was funny and all sometimes it just seemed untrue.

Normally, I agree with him when he reviews a game I've played, as Oblivion has proven that he never lies ("Two people with the same voice discussing the great deals they got at a store where the guy has the same voice"). This was emphasized when I did a portion of the thieves guild quests that resulted in the main guards all asking each other "Where's the Gray Fox?" only to be answered with "I'm looking for the Gray Fox! Have you seen him?"

When did I disagree... The only thing I can recall disagreeing with is in his review of SR2, when he said that he thought the side-missions would get boring/repetitive long before he finished the story. If you're doing the septic ones he was talking about, sure. But if you're doing the Insurance Fraud ones... >.> I only did two or three other side missions to get enough respect for the whole story. I didn't find them boring. Occasionally frustrating, when I was just a crash away from victory, but never boring.

I like Far Cry 2, Mass Effect, Halo (sort of) and Oblivion. All games he disliked. I disagree with him, but love his rants.

The point where he's described as "reviewing" things mostly.
He does review things. If he just wanted to be funny, he probably wouldn't do as many vague games few people have heard of (Siren Blood Call? What's that, some greek thing I failed in 10th grade?). Fact is, if he wrote this all down and used much nicer adjectives (and, presumably, slightly more than "zero" in the way of punctuation), he could be read as a normal reviewer. Take a review you read on gamestop, add some colorful adjectives, and make the guy be paid to review, not suck up. Yahtzee is what you get (assuming the guy in question can pull off that ranting voice... >.< I sure can't talk that long, but I know people who can.).

I'll have small points here and there I disagree with, but there has been one review I've felt he was flat out wrong on and that is Portal. I've never been a fan of the game, and really, I don't even feel its a game. It feels like a physics demo that they strapped a subpar story onto and then added a character that is HAL 9000 meets HK-47. Its too short, the gameplay isn't nearly as challenging as people like to say, and the story isn't inspired beyond random "wtf" moments. I had the flu when I played it, wasn't challenged in the least bit by it, and finished it in one day, with enough time to sleep for 12 hours in the day and play two other games for hours. It just feels like an extended demo, not a full length game.

I don't agree that he reviews things, so much as takes a few elements and makes dick jokes about them. Not that I mind, he's mildly amusing at times, but it's not really reviewing, there's never a full picture, and he's pretty much paid to be negative as that's what keeps people happy.

Actually, you can't say no to someone's opinion. You can say you disagree with it, but you can't say "no". It isn't a question, to start with. It also is a touch rude.

"Everyone has the right to an opinion. They just don't have the right for it not to be stupid." ~Me.

By saying no to it, you're saying he can't have it. Feel free to disagree with him, but you can't say "No, you're wrong", unless he's saying something that you have evidence against (e.g.: The earth is flat).

You can say you think it's annoying/fine to have to unlock all of the characters in SSBB, but you can't say that anyone who thinks different is wrong. Whether or not it's annoying is an opinion not a fact. Type in "define:eek:pinion" and "define:fact" in Google, then come back afterwards. Danke.
