Alright people let's get down to business. There might not be a lot of people here still playing Pokémon, but let's face it, most of us did at one point.

I caught myself watching an episode of the good-ol Pokémon series on the telly just now (the ones with Ash, Misty and Brock) and I have to admit, nostalgia kicked in.

So let's hear it!

2) How many of the games do you own?
3) How many hours do you think you've clocked?
4) Do you still play them?
5) How many have you caught? (Estimate)

You don't have to answer them all, if you can't.

3: Oh, endless.
4: Very much so.
5. I think I've 100% Yellow and Silver, and caught quite a few in the others, so, around 400.

3)No idea, but quite a lot.
4)Played Blue for a while a few weeks ago out of sheer nostalgia, before that, it had been years.
5)Once caught them all on Blue, lost count after then.

Ahh I still love pokemon, keep it secret though eh?

1) Nidoking owns everything
2) Recently found Blue and Yellow in my wardrobe, I've lost Crystal, sold Ruby and Sapphire and got FireRed and Platinum
3) About 100 hours a game so that's 800 hours (that's depressing)
4) Yup! Heartgold/Soulsilver coming out in March too!
5) I've caught all the pokemon on Platinum and but all together? Probably about 800 again

Is it just me or does almost everyones favorite come from the original 151? I always liked them best for some reason

I remember that when I used to play, I would never try to 'catch em all', rather I would just focus on my starter Pokemon and level him up heaps, and maybe one other Pokemon to counter my rivals Pokemon and level him up heaps too.

3)I seriously have no idea, but I played the hell out of them.
4)No, unfortunately I can't afford a Nintendo DS and the old games just don't appeal to me anymore.
5)I caught all of the easy ones and many of the harder ones in all games. So, that's a lot.

Thank you for this thread, since it made me look back and realize how much of my childhood I wasted playing what is basically the same game with different maps and characters.

Well, maybe I'm just being kind of cynical right now, because Pokemon was the biggest thing when I was young and it did bring me closer to friends and help meet new ones. So, when you think about it, Pokemon wasn't such a waste.
