these games are super story intensive if previews from various websites are to be believed. You apparently run into the main bad guys and both your rivals at almost every new town you come across.

I hope so. But, of course, quantity doesn't necessarily mean quality. It'd be really cool if the new games' narrative would have some sort of substance, rather than just the typical "We-are-bad-so-let's-have-Pokemon-battles" stuff from past entries.

Team Plasma aren't actually bad, they are trying to stop Pokemon from being "Slaves" to people. so it should be quite interesting.

Their leader isn't quite as benevolent as that, though...

Also I am interested in that little factor but also a little disapointed as well. My favorite pokemon got almost nothing out of that (Empoleon), They gave him an ability that raises attack when he's lowered in any stat. If it raised special attack, I'd be glad, but Empoleon is not really the most physically oriented pokemon available....

Ever tried aqua jet,swords dance,drill peck/rock slide/earthquake,substitute with torrent boost? and you can even give it liechi berry and rain support(especially now with drizzle politoed).It's quite good with proper support.

I am super exicted over black and white I am totally looking forward to the 3D graphics and thr dream world I have been saying they should do some kind of use of the internet I mean look at all those "fan" MMOs out there DW wasnt what I was thinking they would do but its still awesome (expt the 1 hour a day limit)

my only 2 complaints are the 3 on 3 battles and that they didn't hold it back and make it for the 3DS

No it's not, it's for the Ds, it's 3D in the same sense that Super Mario 64 is 3D.

When will they stop making new pokemon? I just want a pokemon game where you have a chance to catch all the pokemon from all the different series in the one game. THAT would be awesome.

Hmm, looks interesting. The fact that Pokemon hasn't changed much since it was first released is actually a selling point to me, so I'm not sure how I'm feeling about the changes. Still, it looks like they kept alot of the old and just made it better, and I know I'm getting Black when I can.

I don't know which pokemon I'm gonna fall in love with, considering there are so many from the other regions. They're gonna have to work hard, though, to beat my love of Shinx/Luxio/Luxray. I mean, he's a Lighting Lion for pete's sake! They'd probably have to make a more liony lion (with a better mane) for me to find anything as awesome .

I'm thinking it would be a fire lion with a mane of flames; I just can't see any other type working. A water lion just sounds weird and a grass lion just doesn't sound ferocious. Maybe a steel lion would be interesting.

Edit: In my Diamond, I don't have level 100's yet, but I have 12 that I have trained from low levels that are level 75's and Luxray is one of them. He was actually a member of my original 6 team that I stuck with until the end. Got him near the beginning and he has been a friend for life.

Yeah, I too think it'd be an awesome fire pokemon, but that episode of Bleach might be polluting my imagination, lol. A lion that uses ice moves might be cool, though. Or maybe I just like the name "Frost Lion."

Shinx was the first pokemon I caught and the second I came across when playing Pearl. It was the first pokemon I caught since I had played Red so many years ago. So, I already had a fondness for him, but then when I saw he was a little Lion, there was no way I could turn him down . I have two Luxrays now, one in Pearl (to help level my SS pokes) and one in SS, just to have one. I named them after my two former dogs, Thunder and Lightning.

Red, Blue, and Yellow may have started the franchise, but the series tweaks itself into a better and better core game with every installment.

1. Why is Team Plasma so lame? What's with those costumes, am I suppose to scared?

2. After seeing what DQIX was able to accomplish I really do expect a major upgrade in the next installment. Those little sprites won't do anymore. Pokemon could be epic, but Nintendo either doesn't want to or isn't imaginative enough to change up the formula.

True but generally in pokemon the evolved forms add on/relate to the original form

I absolutely hate the new pokemon, they keep gettin cuter and lamer. These are games about the capturing, training and fighting of creatures for the amusement of humans. They should at least make it darker.

Indeed I have made a physical Empoleon concept, but I didn't use substitute, mostly because Im currently experimenting with him on a Trick Room team, which he tends to do GREAT at.

I'm guessing your a speed-runner or a grindaholic if you can get a pokémon from 5 to 17 all by itself in 7 minutes, I mean Christ it took me 4 days to grind a chickorita into a bayleef on my 1st playthrough of Silver(btw, Grass types were F####D for the 1st 4 gym leaders of Gen II(and again with th last 2( God, in Gen 1 Bulbasaur was so overpowered against Gym leaders that I think they overcompensated in S/G/C(oh ho but I had my REVENGE when I sailed back to Kanto(yeah I should stop doing these brackets.)))))
