Pokemon going back to pure awesome??

Sorry but after looking at the new released Pokemon for Black and White... i think i fell in love...

i think they are looking pretty cool, especially the 3rd one from the bottom, so cute!!!!

Anyway, what you think so far? and seen as though their are more than 6, who would you have in your party?

Not really, I think that Pokemon designs started to go seriously downhill with Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. Red/Blue still has the best designs to me.

but as to who i would have on my team:

Mijumaru- I'm a water purist at heart and i think all the crap it gets on messege boards is bs.
Munna- Its awesome looking, and best of all it was mentioned in the original Red/Blue/Yellow but never made it. so cool!
Mamepato- THe new pidgey and everyone needs a flying type.
Hihidaruma- Looks like he'll be a Fire/fighting. and if not, then i pity the designers of the pokemon, becuase thats a missed opportunity.
Kibago- Gotta have a dragon, nuff said.
Shimama- Becuase electric types are awesome.

It's getting worse. They are running out of things to compare. Soon it will be Pokemon Up/Down, East/West, or something else bizarre.

Dunno about the rest, but my party will at least have the fire starter and a golem in it, likely also a Gyarados if there isn't a new decent water based.

A lot of people say this, but Sapphire has a lot of my favorites. Metagross is awesome, Absol is cool, Breloom one-of-a-kind. Maybe it's just a matter of taste, and I'm in the minority.

I agree. The old Pokemon had some competent design philosophy behind them, back before they exhausted the entire animal kingdom. Now it's just like a circle with other little circles attached. I miss the old realistic style where the Pokemon could contain straight lines and angles.

In my opinion, the only one that looks at all interesting is Gochiruzeru. As far as I'm concerned the rest have all been done before in one form or another.

I would much rather have this upgraded gameplay with a pokemon game with all 4 regions and all gyms. That would be cool. (Plus they could explain the lore of the game more, all the legendaries are very confusing)

I think they should have stopped creating new pokemon right around Silver/Gold/Crystal, and every new game would just really focus on story and up the challenge.

Or make the same pokemon but change them according to the geographical regions they evolved in, for example, an Onyx is 'rock' looking, so if you were to wander next to a volcano, it now would be 'molting rock' looking
