It's about god damn time. Why does it take so long for companies to realize that they can get free money by re-releasing old games with better graphics and that's it and people will pay for just because of nostalgia.

the would be better if the just switched up the order, Gold Heart and Silver Soul

I have yet to find a DS emu that actually works on my computer, the visual boy works but no DS one.

Anyways I think I will buy a DS before these come out cause I am really quite excited

thats probably what it means in japan considering its the opposite order. In japan it would be Heart of gold or "kokoro no kogane".

Everyone notice something here. The periods in which the main Pokemon games are released very closely correlate with stages of drug addiction. Things began very simple. Two games...no natures, no abilities, no hold items; nothing but raise the levels of your Pokemon, beat Team Rocket, kick your rival in the balls, and become the champ!

Gold/Silver came out. Some people got it, some people didn't. Those that didn't were those that knew when to quit. They got a simple thrill and they're done with it. Some folks, however, wanted more! A more complex experience! A more extreme 'high'! Pokemon grew in number...genders were included...breeding...hold items...custom Pokeballs...Berries...

The same process happened. Some people quit, some people didn't...and the vicious cycle continues! Now we're at the point of IV-breeding, EV-training, hold items, natures, breeding, contests, WiFi connectivity, Battle Frontier, over 400 Pokemon! They even got into the habit of releasing five RPGs per generation instead of three. When will it end?

Soon, people like me who continually buy games from each Generation will be sucking hobo schlong for BP and robbing convenience stores for a quick Poffin fix...

um.....thers still only three. Observe:

Red Blue Yellow. Gold Silver Crystal. Ruby Sapphire emerald. FireRed LeafGreen (no third) Diamond Pearl Platinum. Heart Gold Soul Silver....and (drum roll). no one knows yet. how the hell did you get 5?

...

1st Gen: Red (1), Blue (2), and Yellow (3)

2nd Gen: Gold (1), Silver (2), and Crystal (3)

3rd Gen: Ruby (1), Sapphire (2), Emerald (3), Fire Red (4), and Leaf Green (5)

4th Gen: Diamond (1), Pearl (2), Platinum (3), Heart Gold (4), and Soul Silver (5)

That's how the generations work. They go by graphics, platform, and new gameplay elements.

Silver for the win, because it has Lugia, Groudon and last but not least TEDDIURSA, i've always wanted either silver or gold, i always searched on flea markets but only found yellow, oh man i'm so Xited, i will finally play the best of all generation's, its like Freddy Mercury the best of queen, Axl Rose best of Guns'n'Roses, Homer out of the Simpsons, Its like heaven but then only the part where the rich people live, is like the taste of cherry above the taste of all other fruits, it is so amazing.

OR EVEN BETTER,
giving it a different plot.

Every single sequel since the days of Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue has had the SAME EXACT PLOT.
Why not catch all the pokemon so that you can use them to bring down Team Rocket?

Or what about...

actually, the plot that they have going for now is pretty good. I mean, what other reason do you have to collect and train them? To beat everyone else? That's what the NPC's are for.

CURSE YOU NINTENDO FOR MAKING PERFECT PLOTS!!!!

you mean plot.
