"hah! Chilli, eh? No pain, no gain! Right kannonball?" kannonball puffed out his chest courageously. "hey I wonder if they actually have a magmar in there? I don't think I'll be fighting it, mind. I dont exactly have a type advantage with either of my pokemon....wait, what am I saying? It'll be great practice for the gym battle, seeing as we'll be at a disadvantage anyway! Guess were gonna just have to wait and see if they actually DO have a magmar, though. I hope it's not busy, if they actually do have one that is...." woolie charged out through the front door, into the thunderstorm and towards magmar's chilli. Kannonball charged behind him, fearlessly.

"For once I agree with Edward no chilli for me either," Dreth said after having Nurse Joy heal his Pokemon up, "I think ill find a quiet cafe or something like that," and with that he quietly left the group.

Ernest chuckled to himself seeing woolie run out to the restaurant 'well I don't think it will be hard to find a cafe this seems like the kind of town that would have one, just don't drink your coffee outside' Ernest then left the pokecenter. Just as he entered the restaurant the thunder stopped and the sun started shining 'well that's just my luck', the restaurant had pale orangey brown walls, white pillars were in the corners with vases, which have flowers in them, standing on top. The oak tables were separated by walls that would reach up to the average person neck which also had foliage on it. There was a door leading to the kitchen but there was also a square hole in the wall next to it to see the kitchen with all the waiters carrying dishes and orders, the chef and his magmar looked very busy. The restaurant was nearly full of people eating their meals. The smell of the food was to die for. Quite a few people were staring at woolie who just busted into the restaurant and stood out from all the well dressed people including Ernest, who just sat down at one of the tables.

between may the 15th and june he 17th (at the latest) me and the CO-GM (headsprouter) are going to be doing exams so the RP will be frozen at those times this is just letting you know in advance

Edward was wandering around the market, sharing an apple with Prodigy, when he saw it. "Pokemon Clothing Stall: Fashion for your Favourites". Edward walked up to the stall almost in a trance, staring at one item on the table. A tiny fedora and suit ensemble, exactly the same as his. It had to be his!

"You! How much is this!?!?!" shouted Edward. The stallkeeper jumped back a little at Edward's sudden outburst. "Bwagh! $100!" "Here! Done! Prodigy! Let's get this on you!"

After about 20 minutes of Prodigy struggling, squealing, and even a failed attempt to Psychic the clothes off of himself, Prodigy was fully dressed in a suit. Prodigy started to move around a little bit, testing out he flexibility of the suit.

"Don't worry. It's made from top quality silk, highly flexible, just don't get it burnt. If someone burns it, you have my permission to throw them into a handy tree, ok?" laughed Edward.

"OOOOO! Let's go show Ernest!"

Edward sprinted down the stree with Prodigy hanging onto his neck for dear life until they finally reached Magmar's Chilli. After composing themselves and straightening their ties, Edward strode into the restaurant and joined Ernest at his table.

Ernest looked at the dressed up prodigy,'doesn't look like he likes it but in a contest matching cloths could get you extra points I suppose' Ernest looked at thinkers pokeball, 'I don't think I could find a suit for thinker'

"Your Golett? Pinstripes. Gotta go pinstripes. But you're not interested in contests are you?"

'actually yes, though I have a problem. The contest battle should be pretty easy but what exactly can I do in the first round with golett or scooby? I mean golett isn't that dynamic and I am quit sure that stage fright is on the list of many, many fears that scooby has'.

"Good point, Scooby is a bit of a wuss, and I'm not used to having that kind of personality in my pokemon..."
Edward hummed, trying to think of a way to help Ernest with his problem.
"You might be able to win the battle using Thinker, but that's it. You'll win the battle. If you and me were to face off, I'd probably win because my moves are more aesthetically pleasing than yours..." muttered Edward.

"Now as for Scooby, there isn't a lot you can do about his stage fright other than forcing him to face it. He doesn't have to perform in a proper contest but in front of all of us it might help. But then again.... I've never even see Scooby fight, what moves does he know?" asked Edward.

'I haven't checked' Ernest quickly used his pokedex to check scooby's move 'ingrain, constrict, sleep powder and absorb, I could make something with that' Ernest stomach started growling 'well I think it is time to look at the menu' Ernest looked up and down the menu carefully examining all the food, from basic chilli to chilli burgers to some very extravagant dishes plus chilli. 'I think I will have a mild chilli burger and some spicy French fries' Ernest then handed his menu to one of the waiters.

woolie marched up to the restauraunt owner, kannonball behind him, adopting the same stance, both of them ignoring the staring eyes and sniggering around them. He meant over the counter and politely asked: "excuse me, sir, I wish to battle with your rather impressive looking magmar sometime after you close -you do look rather busy- of course also I would love to sample your chilli, a menu, please?" The courteous nature of woolie's request was somewhat dimmed by Kannonball's furious jumping and barking to try and see over the counter. Woolie looked down. "oh, yes, you will be fighting against this karrablast-" he picked up kannonball and sat him on the table. "or my yanma, depending on whether or not you feel it will be worth your while."

'unless that karrablast is going to behave himself return to your pokeball and fine, waiter will see to your food and let me continued cooking' the chef said extremely fast while he continued cooking food. The kitchen almost looked like it was ablaze, it certainly was hot enough. Ernest waved his hand in the air to show woolie were he and Edward was sitting.

" I'll just have a spicy chili burger, Please, Said Beth, who had been contemplating a menu for several minutes.

Edward looked around, wanting to fit in. "Hmmm... I'll have a mild Lamb Korma on a bed of White Rice please" he said to the waiter.
After handing his menu to the waiter, Edward continued his discussion with Ernest.

"I can't think of a single thing you could do with those moves... Ingrain is useless, keeps you rooted to the spot. Absorb isn't pretty, sleep powder you could do something, but you'd have to be careful to limit the range... interesting... I'll have to see that..." Edward said. "But there is nothing I can think of right now."

Dreth sat down in the quiet cafe that he had found and contemplated the upcoming Gym battle, Ernest said the Gym leader used Pokemon that mine are weak against so for Baron that would be water or ice and for Gambit Fire, Flying or Rock. Neither Pokemon has any moves that would help against it's weak types, I will definately have to work on that. Realising that time had got away from him Dreth hurried to find the Chilli place that the group was eating at.

'are you sure sir, that chilli does contain magmar scale?' one of the waiters asked CJ.

'hello there' Ernest said to dreth 'me and Edward are discussing plans for the contest' Ernest then turned back to Edward 'I actually to have an idea of what do to with those moves, I will show you it after our meal, Also I have a question for everyone, why was it a bad move to make thinker put all that energy in that rollout?'

"I dont care if it has fity scales just give it to me." CJ said impatiently. "Oooo Im getting excited now, there chili got magmar scales in it. So if i happen to pass out you guys dont do anything Im just enjoying the intensity of the chili."

'ok sir first you will have to sign this to say that any harm you obtain from eating the chilli was your own decision and therefore you can't sew the restaurant' the waiter then handed CJ a contract and pointed at a dotted line 'just sign here'

Edward stifled a laugh. "No one has a water type on hand, sure you wanna go through with this?" Edward was now almost grinning at CJ's apparent lack of care about his own wellbeing.
