prodigy split used double team making a circle of images of itself but goletts rollout burst through each ralts image making its rollout glow 'now pound the ground' just as golett burst the last image he pounded the ground propelling his rollout into the air it was glowing white and green from the double team it smashed through it then came down with a immense force on top of the ralts when the dust settled from the impact golett was sitting on the ground in front of the unconscious ralts, 'that was a good match though I it was luck that my golett learned rollout' Ernest then held out his hand to Edward offering a sportsmanly hand shack.
"That confusion would have finished you." muttered Edward, but he still reached out and shook Ernest's hand.

Now I need to work out how to use that in a competition... double team and psychic... spin the images around... yeaaah... that might work... gotta experiment". muttered Edward.
"Ah well, up you get!" Prodigy climbed up his arm to sit on his usual spot on Edward's shoulder.

I think it is now safe to assume that Edward is a good friend of Ernest, but fairly disliked by Dreth
Dreth watched the battle and after watching Ernest win a small hint of a smile smirked acroos his face. Wow Ernest really knows what he is doing he will be a formidable opponent, Edward on the other hand looks less skilled and should prove no problem in beating, doubt it is even worth my time but for some reason I sincerely hope he challenges me. "Come on we need to get going the sooner we get to town the sooner we can fight the gym," Dreth called out to everyone eager to fight.
Beth was disgusted of Edward and didn't even try to hide it. Not only did he make incredibly disrespectful comments to Dreth, his Gligar, and women, but he also started a battle without proper warning.

suddenly a cracking noise could be heard Ernest turned to it. it was coming from the knocked over tree some of the kakuna were turning into beedrill and they looked pissed 'thinker use rollout' thinker merely fell over that last rollout took a lot out of him 'all right scooby use constrict' Ernest released scooby who turned to face the group of 10 beedrilll but he just let out a farting noise and then fell over and started crying 'well look like it is up to you guys' Ernest said while returning thinker and scooby to their balls and then took cover behind a tree 'go guys you can to it I am right behind you'.
"Gambit use Leech Life," Dreth commanded "Baron use Metal Claw on the Beedrill that is being Leech lifed."
"Queen, help out Baron with gust. Prodigy, start throwing Confusion around." said Edward, emotions completely blank. These people were useful to him. Nothing more. Except for Ernest. Edward respected Ernest for his calm composure and superior battling skills.
Dreth was dissapointed that Baron had to be saved by Edward but that did not deter him from the battle "Ok defense time Baron sand attack and Gambit Leech Life any that try to attack," and with that Baron executed the attack and hit the group of Beedrill remaining, Gambit Leech Lifed a Beedrill that had charged in the direction of the group.
during Edward's disrespectful comments towards types other than dragon and psychic, woolie cried out with rage, fiercely defending the bug type, his favourite. During this, he pointed at epiepia to support his reasoning, as she looped with rage. After watching the battle between Edward and ernest, woolie was sure that he could learn something from ernests calm, collected, intellectual personality, absoloutely nothing like himself.
"epiepia! Use quick Attack on the beedrill!" She was knocked back by a twineedle. "hmm. Foresight!" epiepia focused her eyes, predicted the next move of the same beedrill, and attacked again, this attack made fierce, crippling contact. The beedrill was knocked to the floor.
Woolie grabbed the poke-ball containing kannonball, but stopped himself, he realized gambit was out. He returned the poke-ball to his belt.

Two Beedrill ganged up on Queen and started hitting her with Poison Sting.

Dreth realised that the Karrablast in the group would attack his Gambit if it was out and the powerful peck attack would be much more useful that the uneffective Leech Life and acid that Gambit had at its disposal. "Gambit Return," he said with a hint of dissapointment "The battle is all yours Woolie."
"Prodigy, 'bout turn and use Psychic on the Beedrills." Prodigy turned and attempted Psychic but ended up falling over. "Damn damn damn, get back up and try again!" Prodigy got back up and blasted the Beedrills back away from Queen. "Great work Prodigy, back up here, come on, you're done for today. Queen! Finish those two off with Gust!"
