Pokemon RP - journey to victory Road (closed)

Ernest was standing on the boat, taking in the sea air. It was rich with energy he found perfect for a day to start his adventure. He was lost in calming motion of the waves till a wingull crapped on his shoulder, 'fucking wingull' he muttered to himself. he started seeing the skyscrapers of Newheart city, the city was build in the centre of the region and was the second biggest in the region but the it was the biggest Ernest ever saw. He went to his room and got his luggage and cleaned the wingull crap off his shoulder.

Ernest then heard over the ships speakers 'may all soon to be trainers go to check in 2 all other passengers go to check in 1', he left for check in 2 were a police officer asked him his name and told him to wait for professor Jason, he seemed to be the first person to have made it to the check in.

Woolie, exploring the deck of the ship, walked slowly, hands in his pockets while watching altaria fly over head. At least, he thought they were altaria, but they might've been fast-moving small clouds. He then strode over to the left side of the ship and leaned over the railing. He watched swanna and ducklett flying gracefully by. i wonder if i'll meet one of those up close? he thought, admiring their beautiful white feathers and lowering his head to watch a stunning violet alomomola leap from the water.
Suddenly, over the intercom he heard:
''may all soon to be trainers go to check in 2, all other passengers go to check in 1.''
Woolie got exited and ran to his cabin to get his stuff. He grabbed his bag, containing his neccessities, his hat, and his jacket. He walked briskly to the check in, on the way seeing a vending machine. He looked at the menu limited to only fresh water, soda pop and lemonade. He purchased fresh water and speedwalked to the check in. He gave his name to a police officer and was told to wait. Also at the check-in was a rather well dressed man wearing a cool bowler hat and waistcoat. ''Hello, my man, my name is Wolfgang George, but most people call me Woolie! I like your hat!'' Woolie offered a handshake.

Ernest took off his hat revealing a apple, he placed his hat over his stomach and bent over making the apple drop into Wollie's hand 'hello my good sir, I hope this apple will keep you healthy and taller then me'.

Woolie didn't flinch. He caught the apple and, with no hesitation took a bite. ''Thanks. Are you a magician....? Actually, i'd like to know your name first!'' he said while chewing the apple.

We're here! We're here! Chirpped Beth in her head, scrambling along the deck and scaring some Wingull and other seabirds who had decided to rest on the Boat in the process. She had been holding onto all her stuff all day, even though she could have dropped it off in her cabin, but still felt the need to check it as she ran along to Check-in 2. Slowing down as she arrived, she looked and saw only two other people besides herself there. Why'd I hurry so much? she lamented, panting as she tried to chatch her breath.

'I am not a magician but I do know my fair share of tricks, and my name is Ernest glad to meet you' Ernest said with a slight smile, he saw a girl arriving out of breath 'hello madam, to who do we owe the pleasure to?' he said while benting over in the same fashion he did for Woolie his time a packed of gum dropped out.

CJ stared out into the vast expanse of ocean behind him calmly taking in his new surroundings. Its his first time from home and he was gonna make the best of it. He turned around and looked at some of the other people on the deck. Many were just passengers but some of the others were new trainers like himself. He laughed at himself when he saw a Wingull crap on some guy's shoulder.In some cultures thats good luck.He thought.Thats also a good way to start an adventure or game...either one.

"may all soon to be trainers go to check in 2, all other passengers go to check in 1."

The voice boomed over the speakers awaking CJ out of his trance. He made his way towards the check in.

''Pleasure to meet you, Ernest!'' Upon seeing the girl arrive: ''Ah, more friends! hello miss! My name is Wolfgang George, however you can call me Woolie! As everyone does!'' He offered a handshake and a broad grin.

Dreth made his way towards check 2 while going through every pokemon he had researched about during the trip.This isn't a game he thought to himself this is my chance to finally accomplish something. Thousands of thoughts and fears poured into his head What kind of Pokemon will I get, where exactly am I going,, Why am I so nervous. Dreth was so deep in thought he did not see the tall person in the dark blue hoodie until he bumped into him. 'Sorry about that, didn't see you," he mumbled while moving on towards check 2.

A small group of people who Dreth assumed to be other trainers were clumped together. Dreth walked up made his usual introduction of "Hello I am James but please call me Dreth," to all the trainers there.

"It's all good." CJ said as he followed the ponytailed guy. He shuffled towards the group and heard some of them introduce themselves.Might as well do the same.

"The name's CJ, but the ladies can call me Big Daddy." He said with a grin.

All these people seem to have really odd nicknames for themselves. Thought Beth as she got her breath back." I'm Beth, pleased to meet you all!" Exclaimed Beth in her state of excitement.

Edward ran back to his room to fetch his pokeblock dispenser, which was given to him by his father, and a sack of berries. On his way to checkpoint 2 he passed a Gardevoir. Edward quickly reached into his pocket and threw it a blue pokeblock, which it took gratefully. Lance walked up to checkpoint two, and walked into a group of trainers "Hey, I'm Edward, soon to be the greatest coordinator of all time. You can just call me Lance".

'I am glad to meet you all as well' Ernest said but just as he finished the police officer shouted, 'everyone line up professor Jason' everyone lined up, a few seconds latter professor Jason arrived with a suit case 'hello I am professor Jason, you are all new trainers here are your pokedex and trainer ID' professor Jason opened his suit case taking out trainer ID and pokedex handing them to everyone 'I hope you know that this region is being used to help previously extinct pokemon re-enter the wild, because of this we have a strict 1 fossil rule. Any more fossil pokemon can land you into serious trouble as they are targeted a lot by poachers.'

Professor Jason pulled a pokeball out of his pocket and a alakazam came out of it,'this is a pokeball you should all be familiar with how it works you press the button to either release or return your pokemon, you throw it against a wild pokemon to catch it. Only 1 pokemon can be in a pokeball at a time and a pokemon can only belong to 1 pokeball. if you have 6 pokemon on your person any others caught ill be teleported to a storage facility which can be accessed from the pokemon centres pc but only with your trainer ID which you also need to buy pokeballs' the Professor reached into the suit case and pulled out a pokeball

'I will now introduce you to your pokemon' a karrablast shot out from the pokeball it looked at the group and then used leer followed by charging at them with a peck, it was stopped by the alakazam's psychic, 'karrablast this is your new trainer' professor Jason said as he pointed to wolfgang 'be careful it is very aggressive but will properly warm to you when you show your dominance' the professor whispered in Wolfgang's ear, 'ones you get your pokemon wait next door' the Professor said pointing at a door to a large empty room with battle field markings on the floor. the next pokemon was a bagon when it cam out of the ball it was chewing on its hand when the professor pointed out CJ was its trainer it jumped on to his head and started nibbling at it. Then was a sentret when it came from the ball it was holding on to its tail sleeping, when woken and was told its trainer was Beth it jumped onto her shoulder and place its tail on her head while giggling. Next was a gligar it stood ready for battle when told its trainer was James it gave a nod and walked up to him offering a hand shake with its claw. 'Edward your parents gave me a very special pokemon it is a ralts that was breaded from their pokemon' the ralts came out of the pokeball humming nervously to itself.'And here is the last of them Ernest here is your golett' the golett stood perfectly still.

'how are you my good sir?' Ernest said to golett, it stayed perfectly still 'I think I will call you thinker, do you like the name?' Ernest put out his hand to shake golett's hand, it looked down at the hand and then back up at Ernest 'well I don't think your much of a talker well lets go to were we where told to go' he started walking to the room the other trainers already entered with thinker klunking behind him.

''Alright! A karrablast! What'll we call you, eh? How about ANGRYFACE? (The karrablast used leer) No, too silly for an obvious intellectual like yourself, how about, KARRA-COSTA!? No, that's the name of something else....Hey! I got it! I dub thee: KANNONBALL!'' At this the Karrablast, now Kannonball, straightened himself and held his horn high. ''Well then, for you and me it's time to kick ass and use peck attacks, BUT WE'RE ALL OUTTA PP! Right? Lets go!'' Woolie marched triumphantly to the next room as if he had got all 8 badges, navigated victory road, became the champion and completed the Pokedex already. Kannonball followed closely behind with a similar stance.

"Affecttionate little bugger, ar'nt ya." said Beth to her new Sentret sitting on her shoulder. As Beth followed the others to the next room, she began thinking a name for the Sentret while absent mindedy stroking it's tail.

As Ralts wandered around absent mindedly, Edward glanced at it. It appeared to be a male, which was excellent because he wanted a Gallade. "Professor, did my parents tell you anything about this Ralts"? said Edward as he glanced up to look at the professor. "Other than because of their selective breeding it knows moves it shouldn't usually. I don't know what those moves are I'm afraid". replied The Professor. Edward glanced around and saw a trainer with a Charmander. Grinning to himself slightly he turned and shouted "RALTS, USE CONFUSION!". The Ralts responded immediately with a perfect confusion blast. The trainer looked at him angrily. "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!?" Edward ignored him, "NOW FINISH IT WITH PSYCHIC!". Ralts started his attack, but there was little more than a ripple. The trainer turned to him and grinned "Charmander, use Ember!" Ember hit Ralts full in the chest and he staggered back. "Ralts, finish this with Confusion". As the Charmander fainted Edward looked up at the trainer and said "Hey, thanks for helping me test, here's a pokeblock". After throwing the trainer a red pokeblock, he looked down at Ralts.

"Well aren't you a clever little one?" He scooped him up in his arms and sprayed him with a potion. "Someone as smart as you doesn't belong in a pokeball, you can hang on up here ok?", said Edward as he tapped on his shoulder. Ralts climbed up and hung around his neck. "Good lad, now what to call you... Brainbox? No... you'll be a Gallade eventually... Prodigy?... I like that... Prodigy.". Ralts started jumping around and making noise. Edward grinned and said "You like that one don't you? Come on Prodigy." He reached into his pocket and got out a green pokeblock which Prodigy gulped down. "Like the bitter ones do you? Easy..." As Edward was wandering out of the lab he looked up at Prodigy and muttered "I gotta get you a fedora..."

The Bagon flew at CJ at a blinding speed. "Ahh, are you just a cute little fell.....OH F*** IT JUST BIT ME!!!" The Bagon ran off with a look of chase about him. "Get back you lil bastard." CJ ran after the pokemon with agusto. When he finally cornered it, the Bagon turned around and glared at CJ. It lowered its head at him with threatening eyes. "You wanna dance lets dance." Bagon then charged at CJ with full speed. CJ ran towards it without thinking. The first charge ended with the Bagon hitting CJ on his head leaving a gash and plenty of blood open, but the second time was victory for CJ. THe Bagon charged at him and CJ used its momentum to "seismic toss" Bagon back to the ground rendering it unconscious. "Aite then you can get back to your ball." CJ returned teh Bagno back to his ball and wrapped up his bloody head.Damn Bagon im prolly gonna have a scar now....Might as well come up with a name....."Seiryu....yeah that has a nice ring to it but Im definitely gonna have to do something about that attitude."

the professor saw the two fights three of the new trainers just had 'well I see we are getting ahead of ourself, we are going to split up and have our first battles' he lined everyone one up according to hight and then the tallest person fights the smallest and the two medium hight fight each other, Ernest was teamed up with CJ, Woolie with a trainer who was using a joltik, Edward with the trainer with the charmander who he fought earlier, Beth with a person using a geodude, and Dreth with a trainer using a pidgey.

Ernest and the thinker stood ready for the battling CJ 'bagon goes first' said the professor.

Woolie and the other trainer were ready for battle 'joltik goes first' said the professor. the other trainer shouted 'use spider web joltik' the joltik shot a net of sticky silk at kannonball.

Edward and the trainer of the charmander were ready for battle 'charmander goes first' said the professor, 'well this time you don't just attack me from out of nowhere, charmander use scratch' said the trainer, the charmander ran straight towards the ralts and jump into the air with it's claws glowing.

Beth and the trainer of the geodude, which had a pick backpack on his back were ready for battle 'sentret goes first' said the professor

dreth and the trainer of the pidgy were ready for a fight 'gligar goes first' said the professor

" Ok Sentret, start things off with a scratch." said Beth. Reacting to the order, Sentret leaped off Beth's shoulder and rushed up to the Geodude and delivered the best scratch it could do. Even with that effort though, the Geodude barely felt the attack, and just frowned while Sentret retreated whilst he was shaking his paw. What the hell was that? Beth thought, pulling out her pokedex to see what kind stuff her pokemon could do.

Edward reacted quickly "Prodigy, sidestep and use confusion". Prodigy jumped up but was a bit to late, and scratch just clipped him. Prodigy recovered in midair and used confusion on the Charmander. At first nothing seemed to happen but the Charmander started wandering around aimlessly. "Charmander! Use Ember!" Edward just looked down at it. Having been to many Pokemon Contests, and seeing lots of battles along the way, Edward knew what had happened. The Charmander was confused from the confusion blast. "I wouldn't do that if I were you..." muttered Edward. The Charmander kept wandering around aimlessly and completely ignored his trainers commands. "Prodigy! Finish this with Confusion!" Prodigy responded immediately and Edward won the battle.
