"Oh how very polite of you," Dreth stated while shaking the Gligar's hand, "You will need a name worthy of your stature." Dreth pondered this for a brief moment then exclaimed "Baron, that perfect do you like it." The Gligar responded with a bow then glided onto Dreth's shoulder "I will take that as a yes."
While bonding with his new pokemon a trainer raced towards him and demanded a pokemon battle. "You up for a battle Baron," Dreth asked whilst Baron was already in a fighting stance " Eager are we? Ok lets go Baron start up with a Poison sting attack." Baron hit the pidgey with ease causing mild damage. The opposing trainer commanded his Pidgey to use a tackle attack. "Baron keep at a range Pidgey has little ranged capabilities yet." The battle raged on with Pidgey charging at Baron and Baron keeping his distance and firing of Poison Stings until the Pidgey was defeated. "I hope all battles are this easy to win," Dreth gloated while the defeated trained sulked away.

The spider web was sent around the edges of the battlefield, blocking kannonball's exit. Kannonball looked around him frantically, before making himself as large as possible, and letting out a defiant roar(not the move, just a roar). ''that's a bug and electric type, why am i considering types? All you know is peck and leer, right? Use leer!'' Kannonball stood his ground and leered the Joltik down. The other trainers joltik shivered even more than usual. ''Right, now he's nice and tender! Use peck, kannonball!'' Kannonball lowered his head and charged directly at the joltik, gaining speed.
Lance turned around to watch Woolies battle. He nudged the trainer beside him and muttered "$5 on the Karrablast". "You're on".
'joltik use thunder wave' the joltik unleashed an electric wave from it's fur hitting kannonball who then hit the ground twitching before it got back up, 'joltik use string shot to move around the battle field' the joltik then shot a string to the wall on the other side of the battle field and quickly crawled along it away from kannonball.
Little sparks came off of kannonball. His eyes faced opposite directions as he stood there, perfectly still. ''Oh no...c'mon kannonball! Lets get moving! Try peck again!'' kannonball remained still. ''Damn.'' Just as things were staring to look hopeless, kannonball's ability came into action. It glowed white for a few seconds, the white glow faded and kannonball turned to joltik's location, good as new. ''Of course! one of karrablasts abilities! Shed skin! Okay, kannonball, use peck, then!'' Kannonball gave a loud cry, then charged at joltik.
Kannonball shook himself violently, saying what might've been poke-swears. ''That's it, kannonball, shake it off.'' The joltik was clinging on tightly, squeaking as it was being shaken around. An idea formed in Woolie's head. ''Kannonball fall on your back! Trust me!'' Kannonball didn't hesitate. It threw itself backwards as hard as it could to cause as much damage to the pokemon as possible. The tiny pokemon squealed as the weight of kannonball crushed it. ''Enough, kannonball, get up again.'' ordered Woolie, concerned. Kannonball leapt upright and spun around to examine its foe. The joltik was lying on its back, its legs twitching slightly. ''Di...did i win?''
joltik slowly got back up and looked directly into wollie's eyes, joltik's eyes start to water up and then it started crying, 'joltik is unable to battle, kannonball is the winner' the joltik slowly crawled towards its trainer and the it went back into his pokeball.
Edward tapped the arm of the trainer next to him and held his hand out behind him. He felt the reassuring slide of a nice $5 bill entering his hand. "Thank you kindly stranger" muttered Edward. "Buzz off",
A huge grin formed over Woolie's face- ''YYYYYYYYYYYESS!!!'' he started to jump for joy, then ran over to kannonball, picked him up and held him above his head. ''THE CHAMPION!!!!'' Kannonball started kicking his arms and legs frantically and saying what might've been even more poke-swears. Woolie held him on his shoulder with his right arm, raised his left in the air and began doing a victory dance. Kannonball was waving his arms triumphantly as well. Woolie couldn't help feeling a little bad for the joltik, though, so he stopped early (dancing like this for a solid minute is what would be considered an early stop). He shook hands with the other trainer and had kannonball enter his pokeball for the first time. ''I wouldn't do this often, lil' bud, but i think you're gonna need some rest.''
"Ok, Sentret, How about you try iron tail." Said Beth. Sentret immedietly skidded to a stop, faced the Geodude and lept, striking it with it's tail. This attack probably would have ended the battle right there, if it had been pulled of right. As ot was, Sentret had comletely forgtten the iron in iron tail, and only smacked the Geodude with it's tail somewhat ineffectully.
Beth frowned but still called rather evenly" Again, iron tail." Sentret, recovering his footing, stood perfectly still, focusing as slowly his tail changed from the stripped browns to a shiny metallic colour. He barely had time to try to attack the Geodude again though, as in the time it took to ready iron tail, the Geodude began charging with another tackle.
Beth's frown deepened as she returned Sentret to his ball. Not even looking at her opponent as she retreated a small distence, she thought about how slow that iron tail took to be used. We'll have to work on that. Beth thought, planning how best to do that.
"All right lets battle, Lets go seiryu." Seiryu came out with a evil look in its eyes."Look we can fight later but righ tnow lets work together all right." With a grunt Seiryu turned and face Ernest's Golett."Ok Bagon use Tackle." CJ commanded without checking his Pokedex.
The bagon ran towards the golett and then bit golett's head, golett did not react 'thinker use defense curl and keep it up!' thinker curled up into a ball and started becoming thicker and thicker, as thinker curled up into a ball seiryu jaw was pushed off.
Edward nudged the trainer next to him again "$5 on the Golett". "Pfft, a Golett beat a Bagon? You're so on".
