Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

jeffery handed the gun back to Joel to watch Elizabeth as he looked out the kitchen window to see magnus and Rodney arguing jeffery started to overhear.

"magnus and Rodney are arguing you know anything about it" jeffery asked Joel.

"no can`t say that I do unless it involves that beehive that Rodney dropped on magnus and Aari earlier" Joel responded.

"wait he dropped a beehive one them huh seems like something I would do, I wonder why Rodney did it" jeffery mused not taking his eyes off Rodney or magnus.

OoC: I kinda need Magnus on to continue, feel free to time warp or go into Pokemon Adventure mode.

lucario sat in the dining room.
"I`m gonna go explore outside" lucario said jeffery paid no attention because he was too busy spying on magnus and Rodney's argument lucario walked out of the front door and looked around he saw a small river lucario walked towards it, slowly making his way down the hill he looked up and down the river seeing no end in sight he walked down one end and after about two minutes of walking he saw a blue figure in the distance lucario walked over to it, the figure raised itself from the ground it was chompers.
"well how are you" lucario asked.

"pretty good I was having a rest until you showed up" chompers replied.

"how long have you been out"

"my guess is about an hour why what happened"

"well Rodney and jeffery were kidnapped they were beat up pretty badly too but they escaped and they managed to capture her"lucario told chompers..

 

[stormcaller]

"What!" Chompers bellowed "Why did no one come get me!" Chompers growled and continued "Something is wrong with Rodney and I don't like it! He's in some sort of sulk about something" Chompers looked around and said "But it's not like when he wanted to stop fighting, the feeling is different. Almost like rage at something" Chompers started shaking violently then raised his fist at Lucario but at the last moment turned around and punched right into a tree. "I'm sorry I don't know what came over me"

OoC: If Rodney is in a desperate rage then by the link they share Chompers is too.

lucario simply stood there and calmly watched as chompers punched a tree creating a small hole sending bark everywhere.
" it`s alright, but you seem angry you need to release that tension somehow" lucario asked him.

"what did you have in mind" chompers asked.

"well maybe a pokemon battle between us release all your pent up aggression on me and I get to kick your ass everybody wins" lucario told him...

Chompers said "Ok, yeah...just tell me if I start going crazy..."

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"Rodney!" Magnus said to the boy. "Turn around."

"What?" Rodney responded as he turned around. "What do you want now?"

As Rodney turned around Magnus caught the boy in a hug, embracing his friend.

"I understand what you mean... But don't worry, things won't be different. I promise to you that whatever happens, I'll always be your friend. Nothing in the world can change that, not Team Rocket, not Pokemon, not even a girl. Nothing will keep me from being your friend."


OoC: A totally not-gay moment.

Rodney expression changed almost a thousand times in that moment, finally it rested upon his familiar smart-arse face "Awwww, and I wuv you too. No. Get off me you gay freak don't you have a girlfriend now?" Rodney asked in a joking manner.

Magnus laughed and said "Yeah, well not quite but pretty much" To which Rodney replied "Ok then, the fuck you doing here then? scat! I'm actually going to sleep this time". Magnus turned and walked back towards Aari.

Chompers was getting ready to fight when all of a sudden he began to feel different, like the haze of rage had been lifted. He said to Lucario "Thanks but I'm not gonna fight now, I feel better".

Lucario was severly disappointed only managing out a "What!? No fair!"

[Mookie_Magnus]

The next morning Magnus and the gang were up and ready to go. The local law-enforcement took care of the crazy woman, and the group of trainers were headed on their way to Vermillion City.

"Finally..." Magnus said, stretching as the group started moving out. "We're finally back on track. Hopefully after all of this crazyness that's been happening lately, we can get back to the normalcy of a Pokemon journey."

"Yeah, really." Jeffrey agreed. "Plus I'm excited to get to Vermillion. I haven't been in a major port since I left Canalave."

"Yeah... I'm sure that all of our Water Pokemon will be happy to get a nice swim. Not to mention the fishing, the Pokemon Fan Club, and the Gym. Heck, we might even be able to get some unique things from the shops, maybe even a Dawn Stone for Brandon."

"You think so?" Brandon asked. "I hope so, I'd really like for Jack to be able to evolve."

"Speaking of evolutions..." Magnus started. "Rodney, Sparks should have evolved by now, right? The same thing goes for Jeffrey's Machop and Gastly. I know that they're strong enough to evolve... what do you think?"

Aari had let out Daisy and Togetic as she got up. Now, the group were walking down a long and dusty road. Daisy was eager to see how Togetic looked. As the two Pokémon were chatting, Aari looked at the sky. The sun was shining.

?It?s a nice day today? she said to herself aloud.

As they were walking Rodney pulled up next to Aari and Magnus and said "I'm sorry for being such a dickhead, I'll make it up to you two somehow".

For all the stalling of the day before the group was making good progress a few hours in to the trip the group stopped for lunch, Magnus said "A few hours more and we'll be on the Vermillion outskirts".

Meanwhile Rodney was explaining to Chompers about the sea and how just because he can swim in it for long periods of time doesn't mean humans can so they have to stay more or less along the coast line.

Joel was excited to get to Vermillion for a couple of reasons. Aari in a bathing suit, Ace can get some swimming in, and I get to see Surge again he thought to himself.

"Guys, who all wants a badge in Vermillion?" Joel asked the group, "because as great as it would be to see the Lt. again, I'd like to check out the pokemon fan club for sure."

OoC: Heheh, Aari is offically the "girl" ohwell, it's still not bad for now.

Rodney turned his neck back and said "I need a badge, although I don't think my curret team is very well suited to taking Lt.Surge on."

"yeah the fan club seems like real fun hanging out with the people who like pokemon a little too much" jeffery said sarcastically. "and I don`t think I`l be earning any badges gym`s aren't my style" jeffery continued.

"and you have style" lucario said disbelievingly.

"of course I have style" jeffery said placing his hand over his head as if he had a hat and doing a 360 degree spin "see told you I have style".

"that`s not style that`s just dedicated stupidity" lucario told him.

"your just jealous of my charisma" jeffery replied.

Joel took a pokeball off of his belt and let Q out to join Eve, Ace, and the others to walk along. "Rodney, just remember that you're always free to borrow Q for a battle," Joel said. "Marowak, wak, wak," Yah Rodney, you're quite the trainer and I wouldn't mind fighting for you.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"If you need a Ground-Type, there's Diglett's tunnel not too far from the Gym, not to mention plenty of Sandshrew in the wild." Magnus said to Rodney. "I'm sure you'll be able to find something. And don't worry about the stuff that happened earlier, I forgive you."

Magnus's Pokemon ate their food happily and weren't really paying attention to the humans.

Quillz was sitting next to Eve, talking about the male Pokemon.

"What exactly do you find cute about Reynard?" Quillz asked Eve. "I mean, he isn't unattractive, but I wouldn't expect a Grass-Type like you to go for Fire-Type guys."

"I don't know." Eve responded. "I guess it's just his aura, he's got an air of..."

"Virility?" Quillz suggested. "He's got an air of virility about him."

"Yeah, that's it I guess." Eve giggled. "You can smell it too?"

"Uh-huh. My guess is, that before Magnus captured him, he was vying to be the mate of those female Vulpix that were in that graveyard with him."

"I guess it's lucky that Magnus caught him when he did."

"I guess so, he's a good team-mate and he really helped Red get stronger."

"Speaking of children..."

"I thought you were. So how was Reynard, anyway?"

"Not bad, it was pretty fun."

They continued the girl talk, with Magnus fully able to hear the both of them.

"You and me both my friend," said Joel sitting down next to Magnus, "but there is something I wanted to talk to you about. I was talking to Eve about the egg. She said she hoped to give it to Aari actually. I was wondering if you and Reynard would be ok with that. Eve seems to have taken a shine to Aari and I'm sure she would take great care of it. So, what do you think?"

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"Actually..." Magnus said to Joel. "I think that's a great idea. I'm sure Reynard won't mind, nor will I. I'd actually prefer it go to Aari."

Reynard walked up to Magnus after finishing his meal.

"Vulpix, Vulpix? Vulpix?" Did I hear you correctly? You said Eve has an Egg?

"Exactly what I said, little guy." Magnus said to Reynard, messing with the curls of fur on the Pokemon's head. "That makes two of my Pokemon with offspring. Looks like I'm turning out to be a good breeder. Hmm... Who else could I pair together?"

Quillz shot Magnus a glare and shook her head.

"Typhlosion... Typhlosion Typhlo." No one said you could play matchmaker... let things like this things happen on their own.

"Right... Sorry." He turned back to Joel. "But yeah, I really think that Aari would like the Egg. I think that's very nice of Eve to do that for her."

Jared chimed in on the prospects of a battle, "I'm up for a gym trip, Nicky should be able to take of Surge's squad, no problem."

"Niiiiiiido, nido"I am sure I will do Jared proud by vanquishing our opponents quickly and efficiently.Nicky added.

"OK, calm down, Nicky, let's just have fun with this, OK? I mean, besides, it's not all about the gym, the beach would be a nice little side trip too." Jared started fumbling with his Poketch, fingers attempting to mash out some coherent captions to go along with the pictures he had captured so far. It ain't much to start, but at least it'll show Erika I'm serious about this. Plus this last one is pretty good. A quick press of SEND and the mail was on its way.

He picked up the last kabob on the plate. "Sweet, the last one is always the best one"

Aari?s Pokémon had finished eating and were awaiting the group to get on the move again. Aari returned Daisy and Togetic was practicing his flying. Aari was proud. She hadn?t caught the most Pokémon but the Pokémon she had caught are her favourites.

?So guys, how far is Vermillion?? she asked.
