Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

Aari lay, relaxed, she had her sunglasses on although her eyes were closed. Earlier, she had applied just amount of sun cream to get a tan but not get burnt. She sun shun down on her body as she enjoyed the heat.

Suddenly, the sun stopped shining. Aari opened her eyes and pulled down her sunglasses. Several drunken men stood gawking at her. She felt uncomfortable. Aari looked around her to see if there was anything she could use to distract them. There wasn?t.

She stood up and walked away heading towards the sea. The men followed her. Aari ignored them and dived into the ocean and started to swim. She could her sniggering and whispering. She swam back out of the water and faced the drunks.

?Stop following me? she said, frowning.

?We?re not following..? one drunk laughed.

He approached Aari slowly. He placed his hands out for her to shake. His smile disappeared and an almost guilty face appeared.

?I?m sorry? he replied.

Aari smiled and shook the man?s hand. She went to let go but he wouldn?t let go. She noticed that she was now surrounded. The men got closer as Aari struggled with the strongest one. They got Aari by the legs and started to lift her up. At first she thought it was a joke until they started to trot off with Aari in their arms. A hand covered Aari?s mouth and the men started to cheer.

Aari struggled but it was no use. She tried to scream but all that was heard was a ruffled panic.

lucario walked back to the where the group had set up to see jeffery get up and press against his head with a look of pain on his face"what he hell happened to you, please tell me you did`nt get shitfaced for the love of god". lucario asked jeffery.

"no I was attacked by a gyarados I tried as much as I could to survive but well I had to..." jeffery trailed off at the end of sentance.

"I`m sorry did`nt catch that" lucario said cupping his ear.

"I said I had to be saved by magnus" jeffery admitted embarrassed.

"ha you had to be saved like a damsel in distress" lucario started laughing.

"oh I`d like to see you take down a gyarados by yourself" jeffery challenged lucario.

"fine I will point me in the direction of this gyarados and we`ll see"

"okay let me grab my Pokemon first jeffery said picking up his pokeballs from his towel" he then looked at them "you know what let`s not take charmeleon I mean we`re swimming so why take a fire type" jeffery reasoned.

"okay let`s go then" lucario told jeffery as he walked towards the shore to swim out jeffery followed tucking his pokeball containing ghastly in one of his bathing suits pockets they both entered the water and quickly swam out to the group of rocks jeffery was on earlier they both climbed onto one

"so where`s the gyarados anyway" lucario impatiently asked.

"uh I dunno" jeffery said scanning the surrounding area and soon enough jeffery found the place where he last saw the gyarados "well it was last over there let`s go check it out" jeffery suggested and without waiting for a response started swimming for the rock lucario quickly followed they climbed onto rock where jeffery was last jeffery looked down and saw a scrape of his blood on the rock's surface.

"so where is it" lucario asked scanning around the area.

"I don`t know" jeffery replied looking down at the ocean after about two minutes of seeing nothing jeffery`s eyes found something: the knocked out body of the gyarados. "there it is too bad magnus knocked it out I really wanted to capture it I mean can you imagine it me storming down the street on a gyarados kicking ass man it would be cool" jeffery sighed.

"well what if you use you potions to heal it back to full and then we fight it and capture it" lucario suggested.

"that`s a good idea actually hold on let me go get my medicine" jeffery said he then dived into the ocean and swam back to shore quickly grabbed one of his empty pokeballs and two potions he then swam back to lucario and the gyarados "okay let`s do this" jeffery excitedly said he started to spray the gyarados with one of the potions slowly bringing it back to consciousness it started to thrash about a bit and then it raised out of the water and let out a mighty roar.

"oh now this is cool" lucario muttered as the gyarados was suddenly alert and turned to face jeffery letting out a loud roar recognizing him from earlier.

"ha not this time I came prepared jeffery confidently announced "lucario aura sphere" lucario shot both his hands out letting loose a blue orb the size of lucario's head right at the gyarados hitting it in the head knocking it back enraged the gyarados lunged forward with a bite attack. "lucario dodge" lucario tried to jump into the air to dodge the attack but was`nt fast enough the gyarados knocked lucario in the legs sending him forward onto the rock injuring his legs. "lucario can you get up" jeffery asked.

"I`l try" lucario muttered trying to get up he pushed him self off the ground but eventually fell back down passed out.

"okay lucario rest you did good GO GHASTLY" jeffery threw his pokeball releasing ghastly.

"ghas,ghas,gha,ghas"hey Jeff long time no see what are we battling today".

"well we`re gonna fight that gyarados" jeffery replied with a smile on his face.

"okay if you say so".

"ghastly confuse ray" ghastly fired a clear beam directly at the gyarados hitting it in the face the gyarados started to stagger around confused it tried to lunge at ghastly but in it`s confusion slammed it`s head right into the rock "ghastly hypnotize him" ghastly flew right into the gyarados' face and started to make it`s irises spin around the eye ball creating two hypnotic swirls the gyarados looked up and was mesmerized by the twin swirls slowly getting more drowsy it`s eyes started to close and soon it`s head hit the ground lulled into a deep sleep. "I think I got this one" jeffery said he then took out his empty pokeball and tossed it at the gyarados enveloping it inside the red and white orb the ball twitched back and forth the scene suddenly becoming silent and the crashing waves becoming more distinct, both jeffery and ghastly were staring at the poke-ball in anticipation of what was gonna happen but then the ball stopped moving everything went deathly quiet as jeffery tip-toed up to the ball and eyed it suspiciously as if it were something he had never seen before "I think we just caught this ghastly high five" jeffery shot out his hand for a high five" but then put his hand on his side. "oh yeah ghastly's don`t have hands sorry" jeffery apologized but when he looked at his ghastly a white light had engulfed it and had turned into a haunter "okay let`s try this again high five" jeffery shot out his hand and was greeted by a cold palm. "alright I say we get back I wonder.." jeffery then released his newly captured gyarados it bobbed up and down in the water still asleep jeffery dragged lucario onto his back and climbed on himself, then he put haunter back into her pokeball, he then out his hands in front of the gyarados clapping incessantly waking it up "hey probably were`nt expecting me to catch you eh, aw don`t worry I`m a good trainer I`l take care of you now BACK TO THE BEACH" the gyarados started to race towards the beach moving at a rapid pace slowly gaining a rapid speed then as abruptly as the gyarados started it stopped right at the edge of the beach catapulting jeffery and lucario onto the sand "thanks man" jeffery said patting gyarados on the side putting it back into it`s pokeball, jeffery then collapsed onto the beach next to lucario. "remind me never to go that far to catch a pokemon again" jeffery laughed.

Joel had noticed Aari being bothered by the drunk students and then leaving. She's with Magnus, but I can't help liking her Joel thought to himself, his eyes still on Aari. Then he saw something that made him really angry. The boys thought they were kidnapping Aari and that wasn't going to fly with Joel.

Joel walked over to stand in front of the group of guys who had Aari, "Hey now, is that how you treat a lady?"

"Mind your own business kid," the students seemed to say in unison.

"Well you see, that is a good friend of mine you have there and she doesn't seem to want to go with you," Joel said, his hand on Ace's pokeball.

"What are you going to do about it? Your little pokemon going to hurt us?" the boys started laughing.

"No, my big pokemon," Joel said, laughing and letting Ace out of his pokeball.

What have we got here? It seems you boys are trying to make off with Aari. Ace said in each of the boys heads. Suddenly, the boys weren't holding Aari as Joel caught her and the boys were lifted into the air.

"Why don't you guys go take a cold shower?" Joel said as Ace threw the group of boys into the water.

"Are you ok?" Joel asked Aari.

Aari frowned and realised what had just happened.

?Oh, uh, yeah. Thanks Joel. Those assholes..? she stammered.

She looked back at them and frowned. Joel placed her on her feet. Aari looked at her legs. They were full of sand from the men?s hands. She dusted the sand off lightly. She turned to Joel and rubbed the back of her head.

?Hey, I?m gonna go find Magnus. Thanks a lot? Aari said, smiling.

She ran down the beach in search of Magnus.

Eve suddenly came running up to Joel.

"Leafy, Leafy," Joel, your present for Aari is ready Eve said, pointing towards an egg sitting in the sand.

"Aari, wait a sec," Joel yelled, grabbing the egg and running towards the slightly flustered trainer. "Magnus, Eve, Reynard, and I were talking and we thought we wanted you to have this," Joel said handing the egg to Aari.

"Leafy Leafy, Leafy," It's true Aari, we wanted you to have it.

"Thanks so much," Aari said to Eve and Joel as she ran off to find Magnus, a slight spring returning to her step.

Magnus saw Aari looking for him and walked over to her, leaving the area that the battles were taking place. He walked over to her and saw her holding the Egg that Eve had just laid.

"Is that Eve's egg? Joel already gave it to you?" Magnus asked. "That was nice of him."

"Yeah, and thanks. He said it was from you, too." Aari smiled and giggled at him.

"It's true, though he suggested the idea."

"Well, it was very sweet of you both. It means a lot to me." Aari gave Magnus a very big hug and kissed him on the cheek, to his surprise. They both blushed a bit, looked away, and then looked back at each other. Magnus leaned down and planted a kiss on Aari's lips, feeling that the moment was right. As their lips parted, a Pokemon was thrown back and landed on Magnus.

"I didn't know that..." Magnus looked and saw a Weavile lying atop him. "I didn't know that Weaviles could Fly."

"Weavile, Return!" A boy of about 14 with long red hair called back his Pokemon. "Watch out next time. I don't have time to worry about weaklings like you."

"Sorry about that!" A boy the same age with black hair and backwards hat with a tuft of hair sticking out of the front apologized. "We'll try to be more careful."

"Stop stalling Gold! We have a battle to finish!"

"You never learn, do you Silver?"

"If I can't beat a wimp like you, then what chance do I have against Team Rocket? Now, let's battle!"

"Wait a minute," Magnus asked them. "Did you just say... Team Rocket?"

OoC: Aww... Aari and Magnus had a moment and then it got ruined.

Rodney had gone to painstaking lengths to get to the hotel to book the reservation at the front desk he asked "Could I get three rooms for 7 people...all of those with separate beds please" Rodney payed for the rooms with some money from the group selling some of the evolution stones they found.

The front-desk woman explained that one of the rooms had to have a double bed in it, Rodney agreed being no major problem That'll be Magnus and Aari, if it's really that much of a problem one can sleep on the sofa. Rodney dragged himself up to his room, then fell over and sprawled himself along the bed he had claimed, he pulled out his phone and texted the others explaining the situation and that he had left the other set of keys at the desk because he wasn't moving to ge the door for them.

As Magnus started to confront the kids about team rocket, Aari received the text from Rodney. She told Magnus she was heading to the hotel and went back to her umbrella. Her fingers felt through the soft sand as she picked up her towel and clothes. She took grasp of her towel and handbag and left the beach. She went around the back way and met Rodney outside several rooms.

?Hi. These our rooms?? Aari asked, smiling.

?Yeah, we?re sharing. Yours and Magnus?s is this one? Rodney said, pointing to a door.

Aari nodded and took the room card from Rodney. She slid it into the door and entered her room. She quickly took off her bikini and had a hot shower. She got out and wrapped herself in a towel. She placed the egg down lightly and looked at it. The warmth of it was amazing. Aari let out Daisy and Togetic to keep it warm while she got changed.

Aari changed into another bikini and returned her Pokémon. She took the egg off the double bed. She frowned slightly and left her room. She went to the pool out the back and lay down on one of the beach beds. It was odd, the pool was empty. Aari held the egg and closed her eyes.

Jared shakily made his way over to the hotel, the effects of the spoils of Beer Pong victory still hanging over him, he barely kept his balance as he fished one of the room keys out from under the doormat and made his way inside. He collapsed onto the bed, out to the world for the second time that day.

jeffery lay there on the beach exhausted from capturing his gyarados he lay still on the beach lucario next to him but suddenly a guy drunk off his face walked up to jeffery and started tapping him with his foot seeing no response the man bent down and started to poke jeffery in the side still getting no response the drunk started to rifle through jeffery`s pockets searching for anything of value after a moment of searching he pulled out a pokeball and turned to run, jeffery started to stir moving slowly he got up from the ground and felt like something was missing he searched through his pockets and found only one pokeball he frantically looked left and right to see a guy with long black hair running away.
"HEY YOU" jeffery yelled, the guy who was running away came to a dead stop "yeah you, you seen my pokeball" jeffery asked walking towards the man who turned around looking visibly nervous.

"uh me no I did`nt see no pokeball there were no pokeballs seen by me no sirree bob none that I could see" the guy said letting off a nervous chuckle at the end of his sentance.

"really" jeffery replied disbelievingly.

"y-y-yeah" the guy said stammering.

"okay listen we could go on like this for hours but we both know that you took it so why don`t you just give it back" jeffery told the guy who immediately took an aggressive stance.

"well just try and make me give it back" the guy yelled.

"fine if you say so" jeffery calmly told him whilst pulling out his remaining pokeball.

"aw what`s that a clefairy is gonna cute me to death" the guy laughed.

"keep thinking that" jeffery told him he then threw his pokeball to the ground releasing his newest capture a gyarados it coiled it tail and let out a mighty roar that could be heard from some distance away scaring the thief half to death.

"okay take it, it`s yours" the thief said as he thre jeffery`s pokeball over his back as he ran away accidentally releasing haunter.

"gyarados that would have to be the coolest thing I have ever seen making that guy run like that" jeffery commented with his mouth open "uh haunter you okay" jeffery asked.

haunter,haunter haunter "yeah I`m fine" haunter replied.

"cool I wonder where the rest of the group went" jeffery asked he returned both of his pokemon back to their pokeballs and checked his bag for his phone he saw Rodney`s text message and picked up lucario dragging him back to the hotel along with his stuff he checked in at the desk and picked up his key he passed by everyone`s rooms until reaching his own he laid lucario on the sofa and started to rest on the bed.

Magnus had spoken with Gold and Silver for a fair while, they were more than happy to explain their relation to Team Rocket and their past experiences with them. Magnus was able to get Gold's PokeTech number and then saw the text from Rodney, telling them to meet at the Hotel.

Magnus walked back to the towel and gathered his stuff, and called back all of his Pokemon. He walked to the Hotel and picked up his Room Key. He walked into his room and placed his stuff down, seeing Aari's bags and clothes in the room. He saw that there was only one bed, as well.

This is probably Rodney's doing... Oh well, we'll work out the sleeping arrangement later tonight.

Magnus took off his swimsuit and took a nice hot shower, the water not having to warm up very long because Aari had just taken one. Magnus got out of the shower, put on some comfortable clothes, and laid back on the bed. Finding the remote, he turned on the TV and flicked through the channels. Looking out the window, he saw Aari asleep by the swimming pool, egg in her arms. Magnus started watching a movie and relaxed.

Seeing Rodneys message, Brandon placed is book marker back in the book and called in Jack and Lilly and headed to the rooms. Seeing that there was two beds, Brandon wondered who he would be rooming with. Realizing he didn't really care he laid down on the bed and flipped on the T.V.

Rodney was sharing the room with Jeffrey and Joel who was yet to arrive, Brandon and Jared in the other room and then finally Magnus and Aari in the last room.

Rodney called out "Aww shit!" Jeffrey stirred from his half-slumber and responded by saying "What's up?" Rodney immediately responded with "I remember I let Blaze out to go make glass with the sand, away from the water but then the whole...ahem thing happened, could you text Joel and ask him to get Blaze for me?" Rodney shuffled a bit but caused himself great pain "And possibly bring some of that sunburn coolant stuff?"

"got it" jeffery responded grabbing out his phone he started to hammer out a text message to Joel saying:
"hey if you can Rodney wants you to pick up blaze from the beach and also to get some alo for Rodney`s sunburn if you can" jeffery finished sending the text message.
"there the message has been sent I wonder where he is though did`nt see him much today" jeffery told Rodney.

Hey, I realized that I really don't have a clear idea of what anyone else's character looks like. Not that it really matters, but I'd kind of like to know what the people I'm travelling with look like. It doesn't have to be specific, just things like hair and eye color, and skin complexion. You know, basic stuff.
Oh, and remember, this is Pokemon. You can have colors like blue hair or red eyes or whatever you want. Have fun with it..

Magnus: Short, blonde hair. Light green eyes. 5'9", lean/muscular. Naturally light-skinned, tans well.

Joel woke up to his phone ringing with a text message. "Blaze huh?" Joel said to himself, "Well, it is getting later, better head in." Joel called back all of his pokemon except Ace. "We need to find Blaze," Joel said to the big blue pokemon. I'm on it Ace replied, then he sent out a message. Joel saw the fire pokemon walking up the beach, slightly bruised and holding his arm. "What happened to you?" Joel asked the pokemon.

"Char, Char," There was this jerk of a Krabby on the beach who kept bothering me. Then he hit me with a bubblebeam and almost put my fire out the charmeleon finished, holding up a previously not visible unconcious Krabby.

"Maybe we can teach him some manners," Joel said pulling out a pokeball and tapping the pokemon.

"Thanks for the new pokemon Blaze and don't worry, he'll learn some manners," Joel said, patting the pokemon on the shoulder, "now lets bring your trainer some aloe." The group headed back to their hotel room.

Magnus knocked on Rodney and Jeffrey's door, which opened, revealing a Rodney and Jeffrey, both sunburnt, but Rodney much more severely.

"Ouch..." Magnus said when he saw them. "That's not gonna be pretty when it starts to peel. You should get some aloe for that."

"Yeah, I know." Rodney responded. "Joel's bringing some when he gets back from the beach with Blaze."

"Oh, well, in that case... When everyone gets here and rested, there's some people we need to talk to. They told us to meet them at a restaurant downtown, somewhere we won't be noticed by a lot of people."

"Fine by me." Jeffrey said, stretching slightly. "I don't mind going out to eat tonight. Oh, Magnus, you know that Gyarados you saved me from?"

"Yeah, what of it?"

"I got my revenge on it, I captured it."

"Awesome... Well, I'm just letting you guys know. Tell Joel and the others if you see them before I do."

"Will do, Magnus." Rodney said.

"See you guys later. I'm going to take a nap." Magnus walked back into his room, took off his shoes and shirt, and fell asleep on top of the bed.

Joel, Charmeleon and Ace entered the hotel, Joel having handed some salve to Blaze to rub on his bruises. "So, my friends say we have rooms here," Joel said to the woman behind the counter. "Oh, you're with the group of trainers, umm, you're in room 105 and here is your key," She said smiling. "Thanks," Joel winked at her and headed towards the room, talking to Blaze, "It's a good thing I carry a lot of Aloe around with me. I actually have a salve that works like burn heal for people and pokemon and I think I'll give Rodney some of that." Joel reached the room and used his key to get in.

"Here you go Rodney," Joel said tossing the gel to Rodney and heading to the bathroom, "I'm going to shower real quick."

5'7 (I just chose a number basically a bit taller then your average 14-er, dark green eyes with hazel streaks, light brown hair with blonde streaks at the fringe, solidly built but still runs well.

Oops forgot skin, white but goes light olive in the summer, like now.

That's actually pretty much me save the runs well part...

Rodney took the gel and applied it immediately, the cooling effects working wonderfully.

Rodney thought to himself Dinner...somewhere where we can't be noticed...This is got to be important. Rodney slowly lowered himself back to his claimed bed and waited for Joel to get out of the shower.

Blaze meanwhile was sitting with a badnage on his arm in the corner, Rodney asked "Hey little guy do you want to rest inside your pokeball?" "Meleon!" Yeah sure . Rodney fumbled for the pokeball with the little fire drawn upon it and returned Blaze.
