Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

"Well..." Magnus said. "I'm glad that everyone is calm now."

"Yes." Silver added. "As I said before, my half-brother is powerful. He is cunning and ruthless. However, he is also extremely prideful, so much so that he will never turn down a challenge. You said that you were able to defeat him in battle, which is how you got him to leave Celadon. I am impressed."

"Yeah, but it was so difficult. I only barely won that fight... Who knows how much stronger he's gotten."

"Which is why you must get stronger."

"We are... but how are we going to get strong enough in time?" Rodney asked.

"Continue on your journey, challenge Gyms, do what you would normally do. Also, train with each other as much as you can. Friendly battles are a great way for Pokemon to bond and grow stronger."

"If you can become strong enough, you may be able to defeat my half-brother again." Silver mused.

"What about Lucille?" Magnus asked. "Should we worry about her as well?"

"I'm not sure... I recently got a message from my father, saying that she and Kristoph are out of the country on their honeymoon... so they shouldn't be a problem until they get back in another month."

"You still keep in contact with your father... despite everything?" Rodney asked.

"He is still my father... as the saying goes 'You keep your friends close, and your enemies closer'... But we haven't seen one another for many years. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful."

"No..." Gold said. "But perhaps I can. Here, take this." Gold signed some kind of ticket and handed it to Rodney. "With that, you'll all be able to travel to Mt. Silver... however, I would advise against it until you are stronger, preferably after Rodney gets his eighth badge. The wild Pokemon there are the same level, if not higher, than the Pokemon you have now."

The waiter walked up to their table and took everyone's order with a smile. After he had left, they resumed their conversation.

"If I may ask..." Silver asked. "When do you all plan on rescuing Saffron? If I were you, I'd do it either immediately before or immediately after Fuschia City. Any later and Team Rocket's roots may be too deeply embedded to remove."

"Well, yeah that's the thing though, we don't know exactly how deep into Saffron the Rocket influence goes," Jared contributed. "According to what Erika told me, the traffic gates in Saffron have been completely locked down since Magnus took down Lil G, no communication in or out either. Not to mention that she hasn't even talked to Sabrina in months, no telling if she's just being repressed by the Rockets, or if they've gotten to her too. It would be a lot better if we could add to our numbers. Surge would be a good potential ally, most of the Rocket grunts Pokemon appear to be easily zappable, as Sparky proved in Celadon, and Erika also mentioned that the biker gangs to the west of Celadon might have some additional info if we can squeeze it out of them. Lil G is apparently supplying them with weapons so they keep knocking each other out and keep the city between a rock and a dirty, biker filled place. I just think that we're going to have to be a lot better prepared than we were in Celadon if we're going to take out their main HQ." He took a long sip of his Coke and then leaned back in the chair.

Just felt like I hadn't really contributed a heck of a lot to the story so far.

"yeah I agree I don`t think we even had a plan in celadon or if we did it boiled down to kill whatever has the letter R on their chests and make sure you did`nt die" jeffery said. "but that`s just the thing there are more ways to prepare yourself than to strengthen your pokemon like you know better weaponry something more than pistols and knives" jeffery continued.

"yeah but where do we get any of those things" Jared asked.

"well the way I see it we have two options first and foremost we could probably try and steal some of the weapons from the biker gangs you mentioned rendering less effective and better equipping ourselves killing two birds with one stone I say" jeffery told the rest of the group and, gold and silver.

"Jeffrey... that's only one option." Magnus said. "What about the other one?"

"We only need one plan.. I say mine works." Jeffrey said smugly.

"If at all possible..." Silver began. "It would be best to avoid future unnecessary bloodshed. I think that you all should do like what you did in Pewter City. Sneak in, take Team Rocket by surprise, and then make your way to my brother. I know it seems difficult, but it needs to be done."

"Not to mention that it would be impossible to steal weapons from the biker gangs... seeing as they never put them down." Magnus told Jeffrey. "They operate differently than Team Rocket, each gang is independent of the others, and concerned only with expanding their sphere of influence. They are chaotic and do things for their own ends, no one elses. Not only that, but if we were to steal weapons and supplies from one of the groups, there would be a power vacuum, resulting in one group rising above the others. If that were to happen, all of Cycling Road and the adjacent land would be under the control of a single gang... not something we want. However... If we're lucky, we might be able to convince some of them to join us against Team Rocket."

The server came back, and had brought everyone their meal. After he left, everyone began to eat and continued the conversation.

"I really appreciate you guys meeting with us like this." Gold said to them. "You can count on us to help in the future... all you need to do is call."

"Thank you, Gold, Silver. Tell me, where do you plan to go from here?" Magnus asked the two boys.

"I go to train, until I can defeat Gold." Silver responded. "It is what motivates me, so I must go."

"Yeah, I had better get going too." Gold added. "I have my own challenges and journeys ahead. It was great to meet you guys, good luck."

"You too." Rodney said to them. "Take care, both of you."

"Likewise... Keep training Chompers, who knows... maybe he'll wind up as strong as his father one day."

The pair left the restaurant once they had finished their meal.

Magnus and his friends payed the bill and returned to the hotel. The group went upstairs to their rooms and either talked with one another or went to sleep.

"Good night guys..." Magnus yawned. "I'm dead tired, I'll see you all in the morning." Magnus went into his room and saw Quillz asleep on the floor, her large body wrapped around the egg. Motherly instinct deeply ingrained in her.
Magnus undressed until he was down to only his boxers and a t-shirt. He climbed under the bedsheets and got comfortable. It was not long until he was completely asleep, oblivious to anything happening outside his own mind.

"Hey, Jared I'll be back in a little bit I have to run out to the shop real quick before they close." Brandon said as he rushed out the door. As Brandon arrived at the market he noticed that it was about to close, so he quickly bought a Dawnstone and rushed back to the hotel.

jeffery lay on his bed staring at the ceiling he heard footsteps run past outside thinking it was Brandon who had went to the store jeffery feeling tired changed into his PJ`s Rodney looked at him holding back a laugh.

"you wear PJ`s" Rodney sniggered.

"so what if I do and they feel comfortable like real comfortable" jeffery replied.

"yes they are so comfortable now time for you to go nigh-nigh Jeffy" Rodney said in a girls voice trying to piss him off

"god would you just shut up" jeffery replied anger in his voice his fists clenching.

"aw why is Jeffy getting angry does Jeffy need a nap" Rodney replied in the same girls voice laughing at the end of his sentence.

"aw forget it" jeffery said angrily taking off his pajama shirt and putting on the T-shirt he just took off he then stormed out the door slamming it behind him. "god sometimes I just wanna hurt people even if they are my comrades" jeffery muttered as he walked down the stairs and out the the front door to the beach outside.

Aari had finished talking to some of her friends back home via the cell phone. She walked through the lobby of the hotel and walked down until she reached her room. She slid the card down and the door opened. She pushed it and it didn?t creak. She let the big door close by itself and to her surprise it didn?t really make any noise.

?Hey, Magnus are you asleep?? she said, peeping her head around the corner.

Magnus lay on the right side of the bed sleep, sleeping. Aari sighed and walked over to her bag. She pulled out a big t-shirt that would go down to her thighs. She changed into it and got into the bed. She felt very awkward and just kept to herself.

Each of the two were facing opposite sides?

Rodney changed into some tracksuit pants and a singlet and got into his bed, but Rodney didn't sleep he used the notepad and pen on the bedside to scribble out invasiion ideas, finally deciding that the best idea would be to sneak in and shut off the magnet train, then in the confusion head over to the headqaurters.

Finally as the sky turned a grey shade of blue he went too sleep, but it wasn't long before he was woken up again.

Jared decided to indulge himself in some online poker while winding down from the meeting at the restaurant. Using some credit card that he found on the beach, after about 3 hours, he ended up making $150 on the hold'em tables, money he decided to put to good use on room service. Soon, a variety of dishes arrived at the room, steaks, some lobster, fancy soups, and a bottle of vintage wine to go along with it. It was a nice change from the usual rice ball fare.

He saw Brandon enter the room, a small parcel in his hand. "Hey Brandon," he said, you want any of this, go for it, eh? I'm pretty sure I can't eat all of this myself! What's that you got there?"

Brandon unwrapped the package, revealing the dawn stone he had just gotten.

"Nice," Jared noted. "Very nice, anyway like I said, help yourself."

Magnus woke up in the middle of the night, the call of nature tugged at his bladder. He willed himself out of the bed and stumbled blindly through the dark and found the bathroom door. He closed the door behind him and turned on the light, blinding him momentarily. He used the bathroom, and flushed the toilet, making sure to do it slowly to not make much noise.

From through the wall, he heard Jared and Brandon talking and eating and drinking. He was glad that everyone was enjoying themselves.

He walked back out into the dark room, his eyes readjusting to the blackness of the room. He crawled back into bed, being careful not to rock it too much, and re-covered himself with the bedsheets. Not thinking, he eased closer to Aari and layed his arm over her body. He fell back to sleep in that position, the warmth of her body comforted him as he eased back to sleep.

jeffery sat outside on the beach sifting the sand through his fingers.
"man why do people have to be such dicks even my the people I hang out with are mean to me and I thought they were the good ones" jeffery mumbled staring out to the ocean. suddenly jeffery heard some footsteps regarding it as one of the drunks stumbling back to the hotel ignored it but the footsteps grew louder jeffery continued to stare out at the ocean but suddenly he felt a hand clamp over his mouth and another hand grab his arm and pick him up.

"well,well,well another little idiot has taken a midnight stroll" a rough voice whispered in his ear jeffery felt himself get pulled up and dragged back to the warehouses he heard a door creak and suddenly a darkness surrounded him aside from the small patch of light that the open door provided but then the door slammed shut and the assailant turned on the lights light filled the room showing a bunch of crates and boat hulls covered in cloth.

"well how are you" the assailant whispered in jeffery`s ear before throwing him to the concrete floor.

"well let`s see I was teased by accomplices and I went out here to clear my head and now for the second time this week some psycho has kidnapped me" jeffery said angrily getting to his feet.

"huh well too bad" the man said he rushed jeffery ready to punch him jeffery side stepped and tripped him he then aimed a kick at the man`s ribs repeatedly getting his anger out causing him to yell is pain jeffery then made his way out the door and walked back to the hotel he walked back up the steps and went into his room laying on the bed drifting off to sleep.

yes and it`s only been twice and c`mon I was`nt really kidnapped the second time more or less dragged off to be murdered and the first time was to show that jeffery can be a sucker for the ladies so yeah I think I should cut back a bit

Sunlight beamed through the crack in the blinds, slightly illuminating the hotel room. Magnus woke up and opened the blinds, letting more light into the room. He looked at his watch, it was 7:40AM. He stepped into the bathroom and took a nice, long, hot shower, scrubbing his entire body vigorously clean. He dried himself, and walked out into the room, with a towel wrapped around his waist.

Magnus pulled on a set of clean clothes and pulled his belt and shoes on. He carefully picked up the egg and placed it on the bed where he had been sleeping, the sheets still warm because of Aari's body heat. Magnus returned Quillz to her Pokeball and walked out the door quietly, taking his keycard with him.

Magnus left the hotel and found a nice bakery cafe nearby. He entered and waited in line for his turn.

"A medium coffee and two of those chocolate donuts please." Magnus asked the girl behind the cash register."

"That'll be 3.18, sir." Magnus handed the girl a five, and she gave him his change back, which he placed in the tip jar on the counter. He didn't like dealing with loose change. Magnus sat down at a small table and began to eat and drink his breakfast.

Today looks like it's going to be a good day. Magnus thought to himself as he sipped his tea.

Joel woke with the sun, heading out to the strip after a quick shower. "What do I want to eat for breakfast," Joel asked himself. He spotted a small bakery and headed towards it.

Ding, went the bell as he walked in. Joel looked around and spotted none other than Magnus. He walked over to the counter. "I'll take one hot tea and one of the Sweetberry Muffins," Joel asked the girl behind the counter with a smile. "That'll be $3.20," she said sweetly, "and your phone number handsome." Joel, pleasantly surprised by this turn of events, handed the girl five dollars and a slip of paper with his number on it. Joel gave her a wink and said "call me," as he walked towards the table where Magnus was sitting.

"So, how'd you sleep buddy?" Joel asked Magnus, still grinning.

"The best night's sleep I've had since I left home." Magnus smiled and yawned. "Those beds were nice and comfortable... Although, it might have had something to do with my bedmate." Magnus had a grin on his face.

"Yeah, I slept pretty well. Although I have a feeling that Aari wasn't completely thrilled about sleeping in the same bed as me. I mean, if she didn't want to, I would've more than happily slept on the couch..." Magnus took a bite of his donut and sipped some more of his tea.

"Joel, how do you do it? I mean, you seem to have some kind of gift with women... Is there something I'm not getting? I mean, are Aari and I actually in a relationship right now, or is there just so much sexual tension between us that it's just inferred and... I don't even know what to say. I need your advice. I know you might not want to help... considering you like Aari as well, but you're the only one I could ask this of."

Rodney finally got-up after getting no sleep, he took his now claimed notebook with him an headed downstairs walking all the way to a coffee store before realising he was still in his singlet and trackies "Shit I'm really out of it!" He turned to head back to the hotel but then he noticed Joel and Magnus were inside, telling him to come in...while laughing their respective asses off first ofcourse.

Inside Rodney got a Tea with lots of milk and sugar or a "Milk and Sugar with Tea" as his parents would call it and two croissants, one plain and one chocolate. At the table he slammed the notebook down without explanation and began devouring his food.

Chompers eat your heart out... Rodney thought, smiling as his mouth removed a massive chunk of chocolate croissant.

jeffery awoke with a stir and fell out of his bed waking lucario.
"damn it and I was having the best dream it was abou.." lucario trailed off "well I was dreaming that`s all you need to know" lucario snapped at jeffery.

"okay cool I wanna go get some coffee you coming" jeffery asked.

"sure I hear there`s a bakery or something let`s go there" lucario suggested.

"sure let me get dressed" jeffery said getting his clothes going into the bathroom and getting changed walking out with blue jeans and a black T-shirt with the grim reaper on it he then descended the stairs with lucario and they found the`re way to the bakery where they already saw magnus,Rodney and Joel already in there talking about something jeffery ducked inside and ordered his coffee black and a doughnut fir himself and lucario ordered some coffee himself they then walked over and sat with Rodney magnus and Joel.

Brandon woke up with a headache. "Man, you would think after three years I would have learned Not to stay up that late drinking." He grumbled to himself quietly while rubbing his head. He the went to the bathroom took a shower, brushed his teeth; his usual morning ritual. He then went down stairs and saw Magnus, Rodney, Joel and Jeffry all sitting at a table in a bakery. He walked in and to the counter ordered a couple of jelly doughnuts, a cup of coffee and sat down with the group with a "mornin"

"Actually, before I set off on my journey, I had no luck with the ladies. Except for Erica of course," Joel said, grinning at the group at the table, "I guess that ladies love confidence and since I met you guys and have done all of the stuff we have, I'm just brimming with the stuff."

Joel took a sip of his Tea and a bite of his muffin and chewed thoughtfully for a moment, "Magnus, I have a feeling that Aari is as confused as you are about her feelings for you. I mean, it is pretty obvious that she likes you, considering that I saved her from some drunk guys and she ran off to find you," Joel said, ribbing Magnus, "I have a feeling that if you ever feel the moment is right to kiss Aari, I would do it. You can't use the usual markers of whether your dating in this situation because we're all traveling together, so it's sort of hard to tell if she is going out of her way to spend time with you."

Joel finished his muffin and said, "oh, and make friends with her pokemon, she'll love that."

Joel headed back towards the hotel thinking to himself, I guess I'll go see the Lt. today. He whistled a song while walking down the street.
