Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

Ashley turned back around, and realized Magnus was gone. She smelt the aroma of chicken fingers. Sitting up she saw two Pokemon laying on the floor staring at her. Chuckling she scratched one of them on the head, and walked to the food.

Walking over to the plate of food, she quickly shoved it down her throat. Devouring it all she got back on the bed. She figured she should rest, but she knew that wasn't like her. Sighing, Ashley hopped off the bed. Walking over to the door, she quickly pulled her skirt down a little, and opened the door.

Walking into the hall, it seemed as if everyone was waiting there for her. She blushed, and chuckled nervously.

"Umm... Hey" she muttered.

"Hello," said the other boy who looked to be about Magnus' age, "My name is Joel." He looked down at Ashley's legs, "you didn't use the gel I brought did you," he gave a look of surprise, "well, you really should try it. It will make sure those cuts don't become infected, don't itch, and don't scar." Joel smiled very sweetly at the girl and said, "I'm glad to see you're ok though."

?Hey, I?m Aari, nice to meet you. Are you okay?? Aari asked in a concerned tone.

Aari put out her hand for the girl to shake it. She was really pretty despite the cuts & bruises. An idea popped into Aari?s head that made her grin happily. She awaited the girl to introduce herself.

jeffery watched as Aari introduced herself to the girl jeffery looked at the girl and could`nt take her eyes off her lucario slapped him over the back of the head to return him to reality,jeffery then had an idea.
"uhh hey my name`s jeffery pleased to meet you" he said to the girl.
[sup]it would be great to have her traveling with us she obviously needs the help oh man I hope she says yes[/sup]

"umm this is kinda sudden but I`m sure I know I would really like it if you traveled with us" jeffery said nervously awaiting the girl`s answer.

Rodney walked out into the hall dressed in the clothes that he wore in Saffron although no cleaned and stitched. He saw the group standing around the girl and said "Guys we probably shouldn't loiter around the hallway" Jeffrey responded not even looking back at Rodney with "We've asked her to join the group" Rodney replied "Oh, what no criminal chase,no sliding down a muddy slope, no attacking the wrong group of people,etc.? This isn't fun anymore" Rodney said pulling his smart-arse smirk.

"Ah, I was getting bored of always having to do that to add people anyway," Jared replied to Rodney, sarcasm present in his voice. "Welcome aboard, Ashley. I'm Jared."

jeffery was a little puzzled at Rodney's reaction "what do I have to be suspicious of everyone I meet well if I must I shall" jeffery then turned to the girl and asked "excuse me you would`nt happen to be a rocket by any chance, would you" jeffery said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Blushing at so many questions, and all the attention, she slowly answered everyone's questions.

Turning her eyes at Joel, "Oh, umm, its nice to meet you. I'm sorry I didn't see the gel. I'll check it out later."

Following that, she extended her hand to shake Aari. "I've been better but I'll live."

Then Jeffery dropped a bomb on her. "Oh wow, join your group?" blushing and stuttering she didn't know what to say, "Can you give me some time to think about it? I'm sorry I'm really tired, and I don't know what you guys are even doing. All I know is you extended incredible hospitality upon me."

"See, I told you we need some near-death incident to do it right" Rodney told the group, then turned to the girl and said "You obviously need your rest, if you want you could stay in the rooms we've got for a few days or however long you need" Rodney turned to get the last of his stuff before spinning and outstretching his hand saying "Oh I forgot to introduce myself propery, I'm Rodney"

"Oh thanks, its nice to meet you" she said, shaking his hand.

Facing the group she announced, "I thank you all for what you have done for me so far, especially you Magnus. You are a great person. I'm going to go lie down, if any of you need me please come in."

She then returned back to Magnus' room. She searched for the gel, until she finally found it. She applied it to her cuts, and got back onto the bed, burying herself in the blankets.

Rodney said to the group "Someone leave a pokemon in there if she needs help...or if she has ill intent. Anyhow let's get going anyone wanna do something before we head to the gym?"

"I think Ace would be willing to stay with her," Joel said letting Ace out of his pokeball. "What do you think buddy, would you be willing to keep an eye on our guest while we go visit the Lt.?" I'd be happy to, considering much of his pokemon are still angry at me for the last battle everyone hears in their head. "Yah, his pokemon were pretty mad when you beat them with confusion," Joel said grinning.

"well I got nothing guys anyone got any ideas in mind like maybe fishing or I dunno explore some more of the town" jeffery suggested.

"yeah aimlessly wandering around now that`s something that hase`nt screwed us over before" rodney responded sarcasm present in his voice.

"yeah guess you`re right but still anyone got any ideas" jeffery asked.

"I left Red and Reynard in the room as well." Magnus said. "They've got an eye on our stuff... so we should be good. As for something to do... I don't mind whether we go to the Gym first or not. I'm sure there's plenty of stuff we can do in this city. We just need to look for it"

"Hold on Joel..." Magnus asked. "You've beaten Lt. Surge too? How many Gym leaders have you met and beaten?"

"I've met most of them actually," Joel said to "Magnus, but I've only got three badges. There are three I haven't met yet, and they're the Viridian City gym leader, the Cinnabar City leader, and Misty oddly enough." Joel pulled out the edge of his vest and showed Magnus the three badges, "I've got the Rainbow badge, the Thunder Badge, and the Marsh Badge," Joel smiled at the group. "I kind of stopped worrying about badges after that."

"eh badges are over rated I mean what are they a shiny piece of metal that shows you were able to beat one person big whoop I mean with the amount of people that beat then you`d think it would`nt be that big a deal anymore" jeffery commented.

"oh yeah how many badges have you won" Joel asked.

"well I`ve won about four back in shinnoh and then...." jeffery`s voice grew quiet at the end of his sentence as if he was reliving a horrible memory.

"yeah so anyway we could look around the docks or something if it`s anything like canalave then there should be something down there" lucario cut in.

Oh crap, what can of wurmple have I just opened? Joel thought to himself. "Uh, yeah, we could maybe go to a restaraunt I know down there for lunch. They always have fresh seafood," Joel looked like he was really sorry for what he said. He put his arm around Jeff's shoulder and said, "my treat buddy."

jeffery looked up at Joel "no man I would`nt feel right eating food on someone Else's dime I`l pay for myself" jeffery responded getting up from his chair.

"no I insist I`l pay" Joel said not taking no for an answer.

"fine but if you stick me with the bill after you said you would pay then don`t be too surprised if I chase after you demanding payment" jeffery laughed at the end of his sentence feeling a little better.
